Travelling has become a huge part of my life, so it was only a matter of time before I decided to write about it. Like Penny said, I do think it’s one of the greatest gifts a person can ever receive, and although I’m more of a backpacker than a flashpacker, Selina’s initial fears about her inadequacies were something I could really identify with. Colinas Verde is totally a figment of my imagination but it was inspired by a summer spent volunteering in Uzés, in southern France, so I’d like to say thanks to Sylvie Guarch for having me. The other part of Wanderlust I identified with, was finding a handsome German along the way. Falling in love while travelling is brutal, but worth it, so this story is also dedicated to anyone who has ever found themselves in such a predicament. Kudos to you, and I hope you’re still reaping the rewards, as I am.
