“Do you see what I mean?” Maria was pointing at the second blur on the screen.

             
“Twins.” Steve moved back to the first blur. “It definitely looks like twins. We won’t know for sure for a couple of months but that would be my bet.”

             
He looked over at Katlyn and smiled, “Congratulations.”

             
“Twins?” Katlyn looked over at Roslyn and smiled. “What in the world is Micah going to say?” Not just one baby but two, he was going to be surprised.

             
Roslyn laughed and hugged her, “You just had to out do us again didn’t you?”

             
Katlyn laughed with her, “Tell that one to Micah.”

             
“Out do us?” Steve looked over at Maria “What is she talking about?”

             
Roslyn chuckled, “Katlyn was the first to get pregnant, and now that Roslyn is pregnant Katlyn had to up the anti.”

Steve smiled between the women, “Twins.”

“Twins.” She agreed and finished putting up the equipment. “Katlyn agreed to egg donation and Roslyn was implanted with the fertilized egg. She is now pregnant also.” Raising a hand to stop the tirade that she knew was coming she turned to face him, “They both knew the risks going into it.”

             
Steve looked at the women in front of him, “Do you know what this means to our world?”

             
“Yes. We need to watch Roslyn and make sure that everything is progressing okay in the next few months but we are hoping that by this time next year we will be celebrating pregnant women around the world.” Maria’s eyes were almost sparkling with her excitement.

             
Steve smiled at the ladies in front of him, “I hope you are right. It would be a miracle.”

             
Katlyn rose up and sat on the edge of the cot. “Yes it will be. Roslyn? You ready to head home? I am sure you would like to tell Lenec.”

             
Roslyn looked at Katlyn and stood up, “He will be so happy. Maria, thank you.” That was an understatement; Lenec was going to be ecstatic.

             
Maria hugged her sister and smiled, “I’ll see you at dinner.” The egg donation looked to be working. She sent up a little prayer asking for him to be gracious enough to deliver all three babies healthy.

             
As they were about to leave Sophia came back in the back door in a rush almost knocking Dr. Mills to the ground. “Maria, can you hurry and do the test before I lose my nerve?” She couldn’t wait another day and worry, she needed to know now. She had to stop being a coward when it came to whether or not she was pregnant.

             
Katlyn and Roslyn moved closer to her.

             
“Yes.” Maria grabbed a needle and quickly withdrew the vial of blood from Sophia and walked out of the room to set it in the processor.

             
Steve turned and looked at Katlyn, “Her to?”

             
“Hopefully. We wanted to keep the eggs from me in the family. One of the other women that donate will share with a different family in this same area and so on and so forth. This was the easiest way to make sure that we wouldn’t mix genes.”

             
“That was actually a good idea. Multiple families can have children and we can maybe weed out the sterility that has hit our race. I’m impressed.” Steve sat down and looked at Sophia. “Are you excited?”

             
“Petrified actually. I am afraid that I am not going to be pregnant.” Sophia twisted her hands in her lap. She needed to get a grip on this.

             
Steve looked her over and thought about it. “If you think about it why would you want to be?”

             
“Excuse me?” Sophia frowned at him.

             
“Why would you want to be pregnant? You would be looking forward to months of morning sickness, constipation, weight gain, mood swings, and swollen feet. You would have a sore back more often than not and sore breasts. Then when you have the child you are talking about years of dirty diapers, screaming fits, temper tantrums and then you have the teenage years and the hormones!”

             
Katlyn hid a smile as she realized that he was trying to distract her as they waited.

             
Maria walked into the room a minute later as Steve was going over the woes of hormones and teenagers. “Steve are you trying to terrify her?”

             
Sophia smiled at him, “Thank you.” He had effectively kept her from thinking about what would happen if she didn’t get pregnant.

             
Steve patted her hand and smiled, “Anytime.”

             
“So, what is the verdict?” Sophia looked at Maria and caught the huge smile. “Really? You’re sure?”

             
“Yes.” Maria hugged her tight.

             
Roslyn looked over at them and chuckled, “Katlyn has topped us though.”

             
Confused Sophia looked at her, “What do you mean?”

             
“Well, she couldn’t stand having us be pregnant with her at the same time so she decided to have twins.” Roslyn laughed, “Just imagine Micah’s face when she tells him.”

             
“Twins?” Sophia leaned over to Katlyn and hugged her tightly, “Two babies? That is great! Oh! You have to tell him at dinner tonight.”

             
“That I can do.” Katlyn laughed, “Are you all ready to go home? We have a celebration dinner to organize tonight.”

             
“Yes, we do. Sophia? I am very glad you came back.” Roslyn opened the door and let her walk out first.

             
“I couldn’t be a coward and run and hide. I started thinking that if I did hide I was doing this child a disservice. I am already at a high risk pregnancy; if I don’t take care of this child and this pregnancy now then I will most likely miscarry. I couldn’t take that risk.” Sophia smiled and laid her hand on stomach, “I still can’t believe it.”

             
Katlyn threaded her arms through each of the girls, “Believe it. We will get to all be sick at the same time and swollen at the same time and hormonal at the same time. Won’t the guys love us?” All of them laughed out loud as they pictured it.

             
“I hadn’t thought of that until Steve had mentioned it. Should we tell the men to take cover now?” Sophia smiled as they walked.

             
“Nope, we will let them figure it out.”

             
“Katlyn, how are you going to take care of two babies at once? Are you sure you shouldn’t be thinking of a nanny?” Roslyn looked over at her as they continued down the road.

             
“Micah and I will be fine. We have a wonderful family and plenty of time. If we have any issues I am sure we will work them out.” Katlyn didn’t want to have a stranger in her house watching her child. There were too many problems that could come up in the best of circumstances.

             
Roslyn looked over at her and knew what she was thinking, “I wasn’t talking about a complete stranger, after what has already happened I think we should steer clear of that. But what about Linsey? She isn’t going to be impregnated any time soon; she is from your planet so she isn’t going to work against you to sell eggs or information. Plus, it would bring her and Stochi together a little more often.”

             
Katlyn smiled, “Hmm that would be a plus. I may have to think about that.” Roslyn was right it would be a great way to bring the two of them together and it would be a great way to get a little alone time with Micah.

             
Entering the house the three women moved to the couch.

             
“Okay, who is speaking with the cooks?” Katlyn leaned back against the couch and sighed. “I’m out of the running; I don’t know the dishes here yet.”

             
Sophia smacked her with a pillow, “Taking the easy way out are you?”

             
Katlyn grabbed the pillow before it hit her and laughed.

             
Micah walked into the room watching Katlyn laughing with his sisters and paused. She had never looked more beautiful sitting there, head thrown back in laughter, eyes sparkling, and skin glowing.

             
Katlyn looked over and saw Micah in the doorway, “Micah! Save me.”

             
Smiling he leaned against the door frame, “Save you from?”

             
“Sophia, she is trying to get me to plan tonight’s dinner.” Katlyn stood up and moved over to him. Leaning up she whispered in his ear, “If you get me out of this I am all yours until dinner.”

             
Micah chuckled under his breath, “And how can I turn that down?”

             
Turning to Sophia he smiled, “I need to speak with Katlyn for a bit, do you two mind planning the dinner?”

             
Roslyn and Sophia laughed out loud, “Not fair to bring in reinforcements!”

             
Laughing Micah picked Katlyn up and walked toward the stairs. “See you ladies at dinner.”

             
Katlyn was laughing loudly by the time they made it upstairs and he stood her on her feet.

             
“Whatever my lady wishes for she gets.” Micah laughed and bowed low in front of her. He loved bringing a smile to her face.

             
“Then I wish for a nice relaxing bath.” Katlyn ran her fingers up his chest, “With you.”

             
Micah pulled his shirt over his head and threw it in the floor out of the way. “As you wish.”

             
Katlyn took a step back and eased her summer dress over her head and tossed it on top of Micah’s shirt.

             
Micah took a look at the lacy red underwear she had on and smiled slowly. “I like this.” Leaning forward he traced the edge of the bra with one finger from her shoulder over the curve of her breast causing her to breath to catch. He continued his trek up the other breast to her other shoulder.

             
Her skin was smooth under his touch as he traced her collar bone then allowed his hand to move up to cup her jaw.

             
Leaning down he covered her mouth with his letting his need flow over her.

             
Katlyn raked her hands down his chest and moaned as need flooded her body. .

             
Micah let his lips slide down her throat nipping her neck as he went. She was so responsive to his touch; even now he could feel her shaking against him.

             
Slowly he pulled back and undid the clasp of her bra pulling it slowly off of her arms and letting it drop. Smiling mischievously he pulled his belt loose and kicked off his pants.

             
Moving closer to her he reached out and ran his finger over her bottom lip loving the way she leaned into the caress. Lowering his lips to hers he brushed her lips with his softly then once again before fusing his mouth to hers. Slid his tongue against hers he felt her sigh into his mouth.

             
Katlyn ran her hands up his chest to circle his neck pulling him closer, deepening the kiss. She felt Micah grasp her waist and lift her against him until her breasts were against his chest and her legs were wrapped around him. Katlyn felt one of his hands slide to the edge of her lace underwear and trace the edge at the juncture of her thighs.

             
Growling against her lips Micah nipped at her lips. “You’re wet for me.”

             
Katlyn looked into his glowing eyes and gasped at the need that covered her. Her body clenched tighter as she arched closer against him.

             
She felt his fingers ease under the edge of the lace and held back a gasp as she closed her eyes.

             
Instantly he stilled, “Open your eyes baby. I want to see you.” He needed to see her reactions to his touch. He wanted to feel her need blend with his.

             
Katlyn opened her eyes and immediately felt his fingers trace her opening. She felt warmth flow through her body causing wetness to surge between her legs.

             
Micah’s fingers moved to trace her opening, over and up he moved his fingers slowly causing her to gasp and arch further against him. Quickly Micah moved over to the couch and sat with her in his lap. Leaning down he pulled her nipple into his mouth.

             
Katlyn moaned feeling his hot, wet mouth work over her nipple, his tongue teasing it and twirling over it. She moaned more loudly as he bit her gently then applied the same attention to the other nipple.
