As the sun set, Cherry and Berlin marched hand in hand out of The Zone, unstopped as they passed through the gates and into the capitol beyond. They were free women—no longer belonging to The Lord of The Zone but belonging to each other. Cherry wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Ever since she was a little girl, Kayla has been living in daydreams. They started out innocently enough—little dreams of being a world class gymnast or Olympic figure skater—but quickly escalated to grand fantasies of star-crossed lovers, bad boys with hearts of gold, and far-fetched chance meetings with that perfect stranger. For as long as she’s been able to read her own writing, Kayla has been writing short stories about anyone and anything that finds its way into her fantasy world. Her three loves are music, writing, and art, and the man of her dreams will both inspire her best work and encourage her crazy ideas, hopefully without getting to say “I told you so” too often. (She wouldn’t complain if he was tall, dark, and roguishly handsome too.) When she isn’t writing, Kayla enjoys late night conversations, cuddling, singing to the radio, and long car rides with no destination. Best of all is when she can have all four of these at the same time.
