Unbridled Temptation (11 page)

According to her brief research, the walled compound part of his story was actually true, but she didn’t know if Dean had ever actually lived there. He’d boasted that he’d spent part of his life behind the compound walls as if he were a rich fat cat, as well. Jocelyn hadn’t believed him then or now. She didn’t doubt that the rich owners lived there, but Dean didn’t act like he came from money. Then again, truth was often stranger than fiction. Either way she’d love to take an innocent look if she got the opportunity.

Jocelyn just wanted a crack at their security files long enough to ensure her sister hadn’t been through here with Dean. And if they
had
been here, Jocelyn needed a direction to go in order to find them. This was truly her best and only lead. A guilty feeling tried to worm its way into her mind, that she was using sex to gain access to the compound, but Jocelyn quickly quashed that notion, and slid it in her “ignore” pile. That wasn’t the primary reason she wanted to go. Not at all. She wanted to find out what Kendall would do to her in his “round two” chance, because what Logan had done was fucking amazing.

Besides, today was
her
day. She wasn’t sleeping with these men solely because she wanted to gain access. She truly wanted to have more unbridled sex with them. Two men in one day was a secret fantasy she’d never allowed herself to dwell on as she never expected to be presented with an opportunity to experience it.

She was smart enough to know she’d likely never have this chance again. So she was taking it, and the possible discovery of her sister’s whereabouts could wait until after she’d lived yet another unfulfilled fantasy.

Knowing she had sufficient enough guilt no matter what she did, or didn’t do, Jocelyn decided to simply turn off her mind and just enjoy the rest of her day.

And the day was far from over. There was still the tour of the town and the delights with the two sexy cowboys she’d discovered here.

Kendall pulled his pocket watch out and glanced at it. “Are we both guiding you?”

Jocelyn nodded. “Of course. Double the pleasure, double the fun.”

“The place doesn’t close for several hours.”

“Good, then let’s go. I don’t want to miss a single thing.” This day couldn’t have turned out more perfect if she’d planned it herself. Amazing sex and more planned in the near future. The day spent in this replica of a nineteenth-century Western town and two local guides to lead her around and share her love of history brought to life would be memorable.

They started at one end of town and went all the way to the other, stopping in at every shop she wanted to explore. The rowdy saloon, the well-stocked dry goods store, and the candle-making demonstration were only a few of the many things Jocelyn enjoyed seeing throughout the day.

Dinner was spent at a small family restaurant housed in a place that looked like someone’s white clapboard-sided home. Tucked away on one of the side streets, the place even had a wide front porch for those awaiting entrance. Jocelyn enjoyed every single bite of the roast beef and boiled potatoes she ordered. The apple pie for dessert was to die for.

They didn’t discuss much more than polite small talk about the town, what they did here, and the area’s weather, which Jocelyn was grateful for because she didn’t want either of them to find out her primary interest in visiting the area or that she was looking for her sister. They didn’t ask her about her occupation, and she didn’t volunteer it. She’d planned on saying “I’m in computers,” without divulging her specific expertise being computer security.

In some circles, she was immediately labeled a “hacker” by those unfamiliar with her usual work. In the case of this place, she’d additionally refrained from disclosing her occupation partly because of what she’d done here a few weeks back.

Losing her head, in a panicked moment of frustration, and trying to break into the private compound security was something she wasn’t very proud of. That slightly shameful detail also kept her from simply asking either of them if they knew Dean or had recently seen him with her sister.

After they’d eaten, Jocelyn accompanied Logan and Kendall for one last walk through town. The other shopkeepers and amusement park employees were busy shooing out the remaining patrons. Kendall led her to the courthouse and past the chambers where an occasional trial took place and the hanging judge ruled, distributing Western justice to outlaws.

She wasn’t sure where they were going, but soon came to a large door. Kendall pulled out a large skeleton key, opened the wooden door, and ushered her inside.

“Where are we going?” Jocelyn asked after ducking only her head past the frame of the open door. There was a staircase leading down, but she figured it was time to discuss specifics about the rest of their evening.

“To where we live. To further negotiate.”

Jocelyn glanced down the hall they’d just traversed. He was taking her to the very place she wanted to go. Behind the walled compound.

“Problem?” Kendall asked.

“I don’t think so. But I’d like a minute to access my gut feelings about what happens next.”

“By all means,” he said. “Take your time. We have a few minutes yet.” With a short nod and tolerant smile in place, he slowly crossed his arms and casually leaned one shoulder against the doorframe. His gaze remained on her face as she took a minute to ponder her immediate future.

Logan hooked his thumbs in two belt loops and also waited patiently.

Jocelyn took a moment to assess her
gut
feeling. It wasn’t a bad one. Not at all. And she’d done enough research about the Old West Town park to know there hadn’t ever been any complaints of a devious sexual nature regarding anyone associated with the area, the park, or its employees.

With the exception of a blogger she’d recently read about who seemed bound and determined to “uncover” a scandalous sex story no matter if it was true or not.

She had recognized Reggie Bender earlier as the one who’d disrupted the blistering kiss in that alley with Logan. Which was why she’d told him the lie about being Logan’s fiancée. She’d been right in assuming the blogger would back off if she legitimized the kiss.

Otherwise, no scintillating scandals or bad behavior had ever been reported.

Her instinct said she could trust these two. So did her libido. Even if the idea of both of them dominating her in bed was a bit startling to consider.

“I’d like to accompany you to your home, although I have a few reservations about what will happen once we get there.”

Kendall and Logan exchanged a glance and another smile. Kendall leaned forward and whispered, “In point of fact, dark, sexually wicked things will take place.”

“Can you give me a few highlights of how dark and how wicked?”

His gaze intensified, practically zeroing in on her soul. “I plan to tie you down hands and feet so I can fully explore your body. I may even blindfold you. First, I want to lick a couple of orgasms out of you before my big cock penetrates your pussy, stretching you to the limit of your capacity. Logan’s got a big dick, but even he’ll agree that mine’s bigger.”

“Only slightly bigger,” Logan added with a quick grin.

“I see.” Jocelyn’s heart stuttered in her chest with excitement. “And what else?”

He paused and smiled before responding, “We have a wide selection of sex toys. Actually, we have a few new ones we’ve never used before that I’d love to try out on you. Interested?”

Visions of massive vibrating dildos, whips, and manacles circled her mind. Her mouth suddenly went as dry as a bowl of dust. Then again, when would she ever get a chance like this again? Her libido kicked in its opinion with a resounding push to go and enjoy all the sexual delights they planned. She shrugged and managed, “Perhaps.”

Kendall pulled his old-timey pocket watch out of his vest pocket, and glanced at it. “‘Perhaps’ is not a definitive answer. It’s time to make a decision, Jocelyn. The last stagecoach out of town leaves in less than five minutes. Accompany us to our private quarters for a walk on the wild side this evening or take your leave and head out the park gates right now. No hard feelings either way.”

To stay or to go wasn’t even a tough decision to make. Jocelyn wanted, no, needed to get inside that walled compound. Her sister’s welfare possibly hanging in the balance was the blatant lie she told herself to make that final extra push in the decision to join them. Besides, what was wrong with getting a little satisfaction along with possible information on where her sister had gone? Without responding, she stepped through the door and started down the stairs.

Kendall followed behind her. He caught up halfway down the stairs, and took her hand in his callused one, lacing his fingers through hers.
So sexy
.

At the bottom of the steps, he kissed the back of her hand gently. She wanted to sigh in happiness. He gestured her to a small vehicle that looked like a convertible golf cart. Jocelyn looked over one shoulder expecting to see Logan, but they were alone.

“Where’s Logan?” she asked.

“He’s the stable master. As such, he’s got a few responsibilities to attend to with the horses at the Old West Town stable. The park will be closed for business the next few days after tonight’s closing. But don’t worry, he’ll be along in no time to participate. This will give the two of us a chance to discuss specifics of tonight’s activities and further negotiate.”

Jocelyn nodded and seated herself in the front seat of the small electric vehicle.

“Hold tight.” He maneuvered the cart down a long, well-lit tunnel for only a few minutes before the shaft opened up into a larger room with three more tunnels on the left, a staircase along one wall straight ahead, and a row of three more golf carts parked on the right.

Kendall parked in an open space, pushed the off button, and hopped out. Jocelyn also stepped out in time for him to offer his hand again. She took it, and he led her up the long whitewashed staircase to another open entryway and into a short hall.

He pushed through an unlocked open door and they entered a small, windowless, unadorned room. The other door in the room had a biometric scanner. He pulled a credit-card-size key out of his shirt pocket, swiped it, then entered a code in the number pad. He put his hand on the scanner reader at waist level, and at the same time lowered his face to the level of the optical reader.

High-tech security obviously lived here. But then again, she already knew that. And another reason she didn’t simply ask if Dean or his family lived here. Likely any questions about who lived inside these walls was a tightly held secret or at the very least a topic not discussed with near strangers.

“Do you keep gold bullion here or something?”

He laughed. “No, the park is owned by a cadre of fairly wealthy people. They demand their private space remains private. I can’t blame them and also I’m in charge of seeing to it, so we make a special effort to keep this area away from the public.”

“So you’re the sheriff both in town and out here.” She grinned.

“Precisely.”

She was about to ask who the rich cadre of owners were, but the automatic door slid open to admit them to yet another windowless, bare room. This one had several doors.

He put his hand at the small of her back and guided her to a door on their right. He swiped the key card again. An entry opened up to the outside air. A garden walkway was revealed as she stepped through the door.

Kendall followed her out. It was late in the day. The sun was past the outline of the mountains, but the sky was still filled with a multitude of orange, red, and yellow strips of color melded together.

They walked along a stone path toward a narrow road paved with bricks leading to a large, stately home nestled in the wooded area. Across the driveway they walked to what looked like a large barn. The sounds of horses stamping, snorting, and whinnying drifted from the barn across to where they walked along another brick-lined footpath.

“This is lovely.” Jocelyn inhaled. The scent of pine trees dominated the air.

They walked along the path to the side of the house. Kendall pulled a traditional key from his pocket and opened a side door leading into what looked like a basement apartment. The ceilings were surprisingly tall.

“Do you and Logan both live here in the basement?” The moment she asked her question, Kendall’s phone rang.

“Excuse me.” He stepped away to answer and began a quiet discussion she didn’t hear. Jocelyn wandered further into the living room. The layout seemed typical of most apartments with a kitchen and dining room next to the living room. Directly to her left she saw a half bathroom through a partly ajar door.

There were two more half-open doors straight ahead that were bedrooms. She could see the corner of a bed through the space of each one.

Between the bedroom doors was a sizeable L-shaped desk with a computer tower, a wide flat-screen monitor, and a wireless keyboard on a pull-out drawer beneath the monitor. Was that a personal computer or one that was used to monitor security behind this walled compound? Jocelyn hoped to get a chance to find out later on.

To her right was another closed door. She put her hands behind her back and strolled toward the door, wondering what was behind it, and also keeping herself from staring longingly at their computer. Before she made it two steps, Kendall slipped up behind her, grabbed her wrists in his large hands, and whispered in her ear, “It’s time to negotiate, before you move any further inside.”
