“Fuck,” he whispered.

I stroked my hand up his thigh and placed it over his
abdomen.

I brought my tongue out and
traced it over the slit of his cock.

He
gasped when I did this.

I held the base of his cock and pushed my mouth down as far
as I could go.

I repeated the gesture
several times and he let out a loud moan in response.

I was sure he was only going to get
louder.

I’d never heard Nathan moan so
loudly.

I guess I’d found Nathan’s on
button.

I swirled my tongue around his
cock and dipped my head back down.

“Fuck, that’s right, baby,” he gasped, placing his hands on
either side of my head.

I expected him to take charge and push my head down further
but he didn’t.

He just gently placed his
hands on me.

“Fuck, I love the feel of your mouth.”

I grinned at his praise.

“Look at you,” he continued.

“You like that?” he asked, thrusting his hips gently.

“Do you like knowing how much you own
me?”

His words were making me move
faster.

He was moaning constantly
now.

On the way back up I licked the
underside of his cock and his hands slammed down on the leather cushion.

“That’s it, I’m gonna come…”

I wrapped my lips firmly around his
head.

“Fuck, baby, I’m…”

That was it.

I held him firmly as he came in my mouth.

His body relaxed against the settee, completely spent.

I cleaned him up as much as I could with my
mouth.

He leaned over grabbing a tissue
off the table and handed one to me.

I
gently wiped him up and tucked himself back into his trousers.

I was still on my knees when he leaned forward and pressed
his lips to mine.

I grinned as he pulled
back.

“Did you like it?” I asked, smug.

He laughed out loud. “You know I’m going to be begging you
to do that again,” he said.

I chuckled getting to my feet.

As he stood he wrapped his arms around me.

“Maybe if you’re a good boy,” I teased.

He leaned forward to kiss me just as his
office door was thrown open.

I looked at
Nathan in a panic.

I can’t believe we
didn’t lock the door.

“Bro, we’re waiting,” Adam said, glaring at Nathan.

“Alright,” he said, grabbing a file off his desk and turning
back to me, taking my hand.

“I’m
coming,” he smirked.

I giggled into his
arm when he said this.

Adam rolled his eyes at us and walked in front of us as we
left the office.

As we stopped by Louise’s desk, I pulled on Nathan’s tie and
he immediately pressed his lips to mine.

“Before I go,” he said against my lips, “the Annual Alzheimer’s
Charity Gala is this Friday.

Want to
come with me?”

“Sure,” I agreed.

I
could feel Adam and Louise watching us.

“Do you mind if I steal Louise so we can go dress shopping Thursday?”

“Why not,” he replied.

“I wasn’t planning on being here Thursday so you girls have a good
time.”

I grinned in response.

Louise looked shocked he agreed so quickly.

Adam was glaring at our exchange for some
reason.

That man needed to smile more.

As Nathan began to walk away I called after him, “Have a
good day, sweetie.”

He laughed when I
did this, blowing me a kiss.

“You too,
Adam,” I grinned.

Adam replied by saluting me with his middle finger.

On my way out of the building I heard my name being
called.

I turned around to see Louise
running towards me.

She was waving her
arms around as if I didn’t see or hear her.

I think everyone could hear her.

“Is everything okay?” I asked, concerned.

She was panting so hard I thought she was
going to collapse.

She put her hand on
my shoulder, gently leaning on me.

I
laughed when she did this.

“Those stairs are going to be the death of me,” she panted,
laughing.

I frowned in confusion.

She just ran 28 floors of steps?

Why didn’t she just use the elevator like everyone else?

She must have known what I was thinking as
she began shaking her head.

“I take the stairs to keep in shape,” she explained.

“Those steps... result... is this....” She showed
off her very fit and toned body.

I was in good shape but I didn’t look anywhere near as hot
as Louise.

“I forgot to tell you,” she said, still a little out of
breath.

“Nathan’s driver will pick you
up at 7pm.”

I frowned in confusion.

She laughed at the expression on my
face.

“You didn’t think he’d let your
birthday go unnoticed, did you?”

I squealed in response.

I thought everyone had forgotten.

Suddenly my mood increased ten times.

I hugged her enthusiastically, super excited
for tonight now.

She laughed. “Get your ass home and have fun tonight.”

I grinned in response. “Thanks.

Meet you outside here Thursday at 10?”

She smiled, blushing. “Can’t wait.”

We waved goodbye and I skipped my way to the exit.

Eager for my birthday celebrations to begin.

Chapter Fourteen

I spent the entire afternoon getting ready for my birthday
celebration with Nathan.

I couldn’t help
but wonder what he had planned.

Up to
the point when Louise dropped the bomb, I had spent all day thinking I was
going to spend my 21
st
birthday with no celebration.

No way to mark it as special.

Just another day.

My own family hadn’t even made an effort to
reach out to me.

The only present I had
off them was rejection and abandonment.

I was no longer going to waste another moment of today
worrying about them.

If they didn’t want
me around that was fine.

I guess I was
silly enough to think I meant more to them than just being a castoff.

I was just adding the finishing touches to my makeup, all
the while making silly faces at Jessie in the mirror.

She was lying in the centre of Nathan’s bed
watching me.

Nathan will kill me if he
finds out I allowed her on his bed.

Everywhere I’ve gone to turn around she’s been there watching me.

I never thought I’d depend on a dog’s company
so much but I loved her already.

As if
she was mine as well.

By 7pm I was eagerly awaiting the car outside Nathan’s
apartment building.

When the driver
pulled up I was almost bouncing on the spot.

The back door opened and Nathan stepped out, grinning from ear to
ear.

As I looked at him I realised how
extremely lucky I was to have him in my life.

I didn’t care that only he wanted to celebrate with me.

I knew tonight was going to be a night I
would remember.

Forever.

I giggled at the expression on his face.

I was dressed in a white long-sleeved tunic
with sparkly gems dotted all over it with matching heels.

There was a chill in the air so for the first
time I was glad I decided to go with my thigh-high tights.

I decided to pair it off by pinning some of
my curls back with some daisy slides I had off Chase for my 18
th
birthday and pairing it with my heart locket with a picture of my mother, Chase
and I.

“You look stunning,” he whispered.

“I am in awe of you, angel.”

I smiled when he said that.

“The way you look,” he said, wrapping his arms
around me, “you really are my angel tonight.” He chuckled.

“I’m always your angel.” I pressed my lips to his
briefly.

When he pulled back he frowned
at me, questionably.

“You promise?” he asked.

I was confused at his question at first.

Then it clicked.

Was he serious
asking me if I’d always be his?

I cocked
my head to the side thinking, wondering about the same thing myself.

I loved him and I couldn’t see myself with
anyone else but we had so much stacked against us.

Nathan looked lost in his thoughts also before he quickly
shook his head.

“Happy birthday,
sweetheart.” He kissed my cheek softly.

I pressed my face into his while palming the back of his
head.

My birthday was going to be very
happy if Nathan had his way.

“So where are we going?” I leaned my body over Nathan to
peer out the tinted glass.

“Tsk, tsk.” He pulled me back into my seat.

“It’s a surprise.” He slipped his hand into
his inside jacket pocket.

My eyes latched on to his hands wondering what he was going
to pull out.

Not that I was a greedy
person but it was my birthday.

I
couldn’t help but wonder what he got for me.

What he pulled out was the last thing I was expecting.

It was a blind fold.

My face dropped into a scowl.

“I’m not wearing that.” I glared.

He threw his head back laughing. “I promise.

No funny business.” He placed his hand over
his heart.

I smirked. “Fine,” I relented.

I couldn’t refuse him anything.

I think he knew that.

The last thing I saw when he tied the
blindfold into place was his wicked grin.

I leaned back against the seat, trying not to worry about where we were
going.

I was just going to enjoy the
ride.

Although my eyes were covered I
could feel Nathan lean into me.

Seconds
later his lips were on mine, gently nibbling.

I immediately parted my lips for him and his tongue quickly
entered.

Just as I went to caress his
tongue with mine he pulled back, placing his hand on my knee.

This caused me to shiver as goose bumps broke
out across my skin.

The car came to a stop and he threaded his fingers through
mine and began to lead me out.

I
tightened my grasp, afraid I was going to fall.

As my feet met the pavement he took my other hand in his.

I had no clue where we were.

We could be on the moon for all I knew.

I could feel the wind move through my curls
and I shivered.

He took my other hand
and began leading me forward.

“Follow my voice, angel.”

I grinned in response.

Just say where
, I
thought.

After a few more steps we came
to a stop.

Nathan gently let go of my
hands and a few seconds later I could hear Nathan quietly talking to someone
but I couldn’t hear fully what they were saying.

He was quickly back in front of me, taking my
hands and leading me forward.

“Almost there, baby,” he said.

“Okay, step up.”

I did as he directed holding my leg up for the biggest step
ever created, in my mind at least.

I don’t
think there was a massive step there but better safe than sorry.

Judging by his chuckle I must have looked
like an idiot.

“Okay, baby, straight ahead now and stop when you feel the
railing at your front.”

He quickly came around so he was behind me and put his hand
on my hips, walking me forward.

I
couldn’t stop grinning.

I honestly had
no clue where we could be.

Before I could get comfortable, whatever we were in began to
move to the side.

What the hell?

Were we in an elevator?

No, that couldn’t be it.

Elevators went up and down, not side to
side.

As we continued to move, Nathan’s
hands gently untied the knot at the back of my head.

“Keep your eyes closed, angel.”

I grinned in excitement.

As he removed the blind fold I had to squeeze my eyes shut to keep them
from opening.

He pressed his face into
my neck and began rubbing his lips over my neck.

“You’re very distracting,” I admonished.

As we came to a stop I felt like I was going
to burst.

“Open your eyes, gorgeous,” he whispered.

I slowly opened my eyes and gasped at what I saw.

Before me was the River Thames and all of
London was lit up.

I couldn’t believe
it.

I gasped in shock looking back at
Nathan.

He grinned in response.

“You booked us a private bubble on the London Eye?” I squealed.

He quickly spun me around leaning me back against the rail.

“Nope,” he smirked, popping the p.

I frowned in confusion.

He leaned forward smoothing my hair back with
his nose.

“Tonight it’s just you and me,
angel.

No one else.”

I gaped at him when he pulled back.

I looked out the glass at the bubbles and
realised they were all empty.

I must
have looked at him in shock for too long when he chuckled.

“Are you hungry?” He gestured to the table on the other side
of the bubble.

“Lead the way.” I smiled, taking his hand.

He grinned, leading me to the table.

I quickly took my seat after Nathan held the
chair out for me.

He looked so proud of
himself for his gentlemanly manners that I wanted to laugh.

As our bubble descended I began to wonder how
the food was going to get to us.

I
smiled cockily at him eyeing the white linen tablecloth in front of us.

He grinned in response, shaking his head as
he poured the champagne.

“Are we
celebrating something else?” I asked, cocking an eyebrow.

“Not that I can think of,” he replied smirking, putting the
bottle back in the ice bucket.

“Here’s
to you, angel.” He smiled, raising his glass for a toast.

I grinned, gently picking up my glass.

“Here’s to many more birthdays with you,
sweetheart.”

I blushed in response, clinking my glass against his.

Nathan could be rough and passionate one
moment but his sweet and gentle side was just as sexy.

Especially when he looked at me with those
beautiful pools of chocolate of his.

As I was taking a sip of the champagne Nathan slowly slid a
wrapped box across the table.

It was
wrapped in red paper with a shiny white bow on top.

I smiled at him.

“Open it now before I combust,” he growled, playfully.

I giggled quickly ripping the paper off.

I gasped when I saw it was from
Tiffany’s.

His eyes twinkled in
response, flickering back to the box.

As
I gently opened the box I wanted to cry.

Inside, cushioned against the velvet padding was the most beautiful
silver bangle with the words
‘I love you’
inscribed in a continuous loop.

I must have stared for too long when Nathan gently removed
the box from my hand.

His long fingers
gently removed the bangle and carefully slid it onto my wrist.

It looked so right there on my wrist.

Nathan must have thought so as well.

He leaned forward over the table.

I quickly followed his movements and pressed
my lips to his.

“Happy birthday, my angel,” he whispered against my
lips.

As I settled back in my seat our bubble came to a stop.

I looked around realising that we were at
ground level.

Before I could ponder for
too long, the doors opened and several waiters immediately entered.

I looked back at Nathan with surprise written
all over my face.

He cockily shrugged
his shoulders in response.

While the waiter placing our meals on the table I looked at
his nametag and realised he was from the Hilton restaurant.

The actual Hilton Hotel.

I looked at Nathan in awe and mouthed the
word, “Hilton!” to him.

He chuckled into
his fist, attempting to hide his smirk.

As our waiter turned to leave I looked at the other waiters to see what
they were doing.

One was replacing our
champagne bottle and the other was placing a plate of strawberries over by the
viewing bench.

My Nathan sure knew how
to spoil me.

A while later I was admitting defeat.

If I didn’t stop eating the most beautiful
helping of spaghetti bolognaise I’d ever tasted right now, those strawberries I
kept eyeing were going to go to waste.

I
looked at Nathan’s plate and realised that he had barely eaten half of his
meal.

“Is everything okay?” I asked, eyeing his plate.

He smiled at me but it looked a little tense.

He quickly stood holding his hand out to me. “Dance
with me.”

“But there’s no music,” I teased, looking up at him.

“It doesn’t matter, love.”

The way he looked at me.

Like there was no one else he could ever want to do this with.

It scared me how much I loved him.

I was more scared however of when the day
came when he would no longer look at me like that.

I hope it never came.

Nathan made me feel beautiful when he looked
at me and I never wanted to lose it.

I slipped my shoes off and took his hand letting him lead me
a few steps away.

I placed my hands on
his chest looking up at him.

Nathan
wrapped his arms around me, resting his hands at the back of my waist.

As he began rocking us from side to side he
leaned down and softly pressed his lips to mine.

I melted into him pressing myself against
him.

I pulled back and leaned my head
against his chest.

I don’t know how long
we danced like that.

I was completely
blissed out.
