“I didn’t, technically.” Cody snapped. “She figured it out on her own.”

Justin’s sigh was audible.

“Stop it. Don’t fight. Please. I’m okay,” she said, not sounding okay.

Both guys looked at her with disbelief.

“No, really.” She stood. Her legs were a little wobbly, but not too bad. Her head felt funny, and her stomach was twisting and turning in her belly. At the moment, all she could think about was getting out of there, going somewhere quiet. She needed to think this through, figure out what she thought, what she felt. About everything. “Excuse me. I need some fresh air.”

“I’ll go with you.” Justin sprang upright.

Cody knocked him aside. “No, this is my fault. I have to--“

“No, it’s not necessary,” she said, throwing a wave over her shoulder as she made a beeline for the stairs. “I don’t need a babysitter. I just need some alone time. Some space. I’ll be back later.”

“Here.” Cody rushed to her side, extending a hand. “Your keys. We’re still painting, but the bedroom’s done. If you want to stay here tonight, rather than go back to the hotel, we’ll be quitting work at six.”

“Okay. Thanks.” She fisted the keys and offered what she hoped would pass for a smile. At the creases she saw on his forehead, she said, “I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

“Now you see why we didn’t want to let you get too close?” Justin said.

“I get it. You were trying to protect me, protect my memory of my father. That was a kind, selfless thing to do. But it’s better that the truth is out in the open. It helps me understand you better. At least now we can all say that there are no more secrets between us...right?”

They both nodded. “Right.”

“Then we’re moving in a good direction, the three of us. I couldn’t ask for more.”

Cody appeared slightly relieved. Justin, not so much.

“I’ll call you later.” She gripped the doorknob. Her hand was still trembling a little. She twisted it.

Justin moved closer. “Okay. If you need us--“

“I know. All I have to do is call.”

* * * * *

Justin gave his brother a long, hard stare. “Dammit, Cody.”

“Don’t.”

Justin narrowed his eyes. “Why did you tell her? We agreed--”

“I didn’t tell her. She figured it out.”

“Obviously, you said too much.” Justin kicked the bucket of paint, knocking it into the wall. His jaw was visibly clenched, the veins on his neck sticking out. He was furious, but Cody didn’t care. It had been the right thing to do, and he wasn’t going to apologize or make excuses or back down.

“Maybe I did say too much. Maybe I felt like it was better if she knew.”

“Better for who? Her? Or us?”

“Both. Maybe I didn’t want this big, ugly secret hanging over our heads. It’s better this way. She knows everything. We can all move forward--”

“Have you forgotten? She’s not into the lifestyle like we are.” Justin pivoted, staring at the doorway, wondering when he’d see Candi again. And, more importantly, wondering if she’d look at him like he was dirty, a freak, when he finally was face-to-face with her. “She might not be able to get past this.”

“If she can’t be with us because of that, then it’s better to know now. I’ll deal with it. Somehow. I just couldn’t keep dodging her questions. I love her. She deserves our honesty. She deserves our trust. She deserves a chance to make a choice.”

“Fuck.” Justin went to the door, opened it, stared down into the empty staircase. She wasn’t there. God, how he wished she was. How he wished she’d come racing up those fucking steps and throw herself into his arms and tell him she loved him and trusted him. But she was gone. For all of...five minutes. Already, he could feel that hollow, empty sensation in his chest. It hurt. Physically. He needed things to be okay between them. He wouldn’t be able to do anything, think about anything else, until they were. “I need to talk to her.” He started through the door, but Cody stopped him this time.

“No, give her some space, some time. She has a lot to think about. If you crowd her now, she could run.”

“Or if we leave her to try to sort through this by herself, she could panic.”

“Shit, you’re right.” Cody shoved his fingers through his hair. “Dammit, this is a tough one.” He paced back and forth a couple of times. “No, we should give her some space. That’s what she needs. We don’t want to come on too strong, or look too pushy. Listen to me, saying that. Isn’t that funny?” His chuckle was mirthless.

“I’m not pushy. I’ve never been pushy.”

“Easy, bro. I know that.” Cody threw his arm around his brother, giving his shoulder a shake. “She loves us. You know it. I know it. Give her time to see it too.”

“Fuck that. I’m going to find her. I just need to make sure she’s okay.”

“Dammit. Hold on. I’ll come with you. I think I know where she’ll be.”

Chapter 7

Thomas Cooper
. Lovi
ng husband and father. Born 1963
. Died 2008.

Candi sat on the grass, tears streaming from her eyes.

“What the hell was wrong with you?” she whispered. “What did you do? What kind of monster were you?” She dragged her hand under her nose. “Did I even know you?”

She didn’t. That was the ugly truth. Her own father had been a stranger. A man she’d set on a pedestal and worshipped. The world’s perfect father. The world’s only perfect man.

What an idiot she’d been.

Not only was he not perfect, but he’d been a horrid monster. A monster who had hurt two very innocent, very sweet young boys so badly they’d never be the same.

And yet, she still couldn’t despise him.

“I should hate you for this,” she shouted at his gravestone. “You lied to me, made me believe you were something you weren’t.”

She bent her knees, wrapped her arms around her shins and held herself as tremors quaked through her body and sobs tore from her throat.

* * * * *

Justin couldn’t handle another minute of this. Not another second. “Look at her.” Sitting in their truck, he poked his finger at the window.

“She’s working through her pain,” Cody said, sounding calm and sure. How the hell could he be so fucking calm when they were watching Candi fall apart? “When she’s ready, she’ll come back to us and then we can help her.”

“She needs us. Now. Not later. We’re all she has.” He jerked his head toward the window. “Look at her! Nobody should be alone when they’re that upset. We can’t sit here and just fucking watch.”

He stared out the window.

He counted to five then said, “To hell with this.” He shoved open his door. “Fuck this sitting and waiting. Fuck this whole give-her-space bullshit.” This was Candi, his Candi sitting on the wet ground, crying. His precious Candi. Now, more than at any time, she needed his comfort, his protection.

She didn’t even lift her head when he approached. He doubted she had heard him.

“Candi,” he said, softly as he stooped down next to her.

She lifted red eyes. Her face was a blotchy, wet mess. Her long hair whipping around her head as the first winds of an approaching storm kicked up. “Justin? What are you doing here?”

“I’ve come to take you home.”

At least ten minutes crept by...or that’s how it felt. But then, as he took her hands in his and gently pulled, she rose to her feet and leaned into him. “I love you, Justin. I always have. And, no matter what, I always will.”

He slid one arm behind her legs, scooped her up and carried her cradled to his chest back to her car. And he held her that way, in his lap in the backseat while Cody drove them all back to her apartment.

Now that she was in his arms, he never wanted to let her go. And he didn’t. Not during the drive. Not when they parked in the lot behind her apartment building. He carried her to the door, up the stairs, and into her bedroom.

When he laid her on the bed, he started to straighten up, but she looped her arms around his neck, pulling him down. Their lips met, and her tongue traced the seam of his mouth. All too eager to deepen the kiss, he parted his lips, slid his tongue along hers, tasting, exploring, seducing. His hands wandered over her clothed body while hers pulled and grasped and yanked at his shirt. Beneath him, her small body trembled. Whether it was grief or need, he couldn’t be sure. But her moans and whispered pleas suggested it was the latter.

“I’ve shown you a glimpse of the dark side of myself,” he murmured against her mouth. “Are you sure you want this?”

“I am, if it means I don’t have to live without you. I can’t do that, Justin. I just can’t.”

He heard Cody move onto the bed. And when he opened his eyes, he caught him kneeling quietly, watching, his eyes dark with need.

Reminding himself that they must focus on Candi, on her pleasure, he moved aside, so that Cody could ease her pants down, over her hips.

Candi opened her eyes, gazed up at him. Her face was flushed, her hair mussed. She looked pretty and vulnerable and sexier than he’d ever seen her. “Is it so wrong that I’m thankful?” she murmured.

“Thankful about what?” Cody asked.

“That you two are the way you are? That you need to have sex together like this?” Her lips quivered. “That you like it rough. Does that make me as bad as him?”

“Oh, no, baby. Not even close.” He palmed her cheek, and she placed her hand over his.

“I can’t imagine living without you.”

“And neither of us can imagine living without you,” Cody said as he kissed a path up her leg.

Justin watched his brother nip and lick the inside of her knee. The sight of her creamy white flesh made him so hard, his teeth gritted. And as his brother’s head traveled higher, toward her sweet little cunt, his heartbeat pounded faster, heavier.

She parted her legs for Cody and leaned back. Justin’s gaze wandered higher, to her breasts, covered by her t-shirt and bra. How he loved her nipples. Hard little pink peaks. His mouth watered for them. His body burned for her. Leaving his brother to enjoy everything from her waist down, he grabbed the bottom of her shirt and pushed it up until her lace bra was the only thing between his hungry gaze and her gorgeous tits.

She took a deep breath and arched her back, pushing her breasts into the air, a silent plea. He pulled a lace cup down, and her nipple popped free. So pretty. Such temptation. He pinched and rolled it until it was a hard little point, and then, unable to wait another minute, pulled it into his mouth.

She was absolute perfection. Her taste. Her scent. Her smooth, soft skin. The perfect lover. The perfect friend and partner. Hopefully, someday, the perfect wife.

Scraping his teeth against her nipple, he inhaled deeply, filling his nose with the sweet smell of her skin. He closed his eyes, concentrating on her taste, the soft sound of her sighs and moans.

“Ohmygod,” she muttered. She shuddered. Her skin warmed under his hand. “I need you. Both of you. Please.”

Abandoning one nipple to torment the other, he glanced down to see what Cody was going. His face was buried between her thighs.

“I could eat you for hours,” Cody said, his voice low and husky. The edge Justin heard in his brother’s voice told him he was on the verge of losing control. So was he, desperate to feel Candi’s silken cunt clasping his cock. To feel her muscles ripple around him as she came.

Tonight they would both have her, together. Tonight and forever after.

They would claim her as theirs.

Candi had never been so desperate to be fucked. She ached from the roots of her hair down to the soles of her feet and everywhere in between. Ev-ery-where. Her blood was pounding through her veins. She was so hot, she felt like steam must be coming off her skin. And all her insides were tied up in knots.

It was excruciating torment.

It was delicious pleasure.

And those little blades of pleasure-pain, as Justin nipped her flesh, only amplified her pleasure.

When Cody stopped lapping at her clit, she thought she might cry. And when Justin also stopped nibbling her nipples, she was even more disappointed. But then she opened her eyes and found they were shucking their clothes, and ohmygod their bodies were beautiful. Utter perfection. Were these two glorious men really going to make love to her?

Justin was the first to strip. He laid on the bed, pulled her on top of him. Her hair fell forward, like a curtain. He pulled it back, gathering it in a fist and looked into her eyes.

“If you need more time, we don’t have to--“

“Shut up.” She smashed her mouth down on his and stuffed her tongue in his mouth.

He took it from there, using teeth and tongue and soft lips to make her head spin and her blood simmer. While he kissed her into a near coma, Cody ran his fingernails down her back, igniting every nerve he touched. Then he drew meandering paths up and down either side of her spine, and her skin instantly prickled with goose bumps.

“Have you ever taken two men at once?” Cody whispered.

A quiver of excitement raced through her body. In between kisses, she somehow managed to utter, “No.” She arched her neck, tipping her head to the side. “I want you both. Inside me. Please.”

She felt Cody leave and she whimpered. Was that the wrong answer? Had he expected her to say yes?

Beneath her, Justin nipped her collarbone. “He’ll be back. Condoms. Lube.”

“Ah.”

He found the sensitive spot on her neck.

“Ahhhh,” she said on a sigh.

“Have you been fucked in the ass?”

“Once or twice.”

“Hmm. Let’s see if you’re ready for me.” Justin eased her over onto all fours, hands and knees, and tested her anus with two fingers. They slid in easily, after the initial burn. And then, the cruel sonofabitch that he was, he added two more fingers to her pussy. Her body went stiff. Everywhere. Arms. Legs. Spine. She was so full. Good full. But it wasn’t one hundred percent comfortable. Yet, the discomfort only added another layer to the almost overwhelming sensations pummeling her system.

The crinkle of plastic signaled Cody’s return. He handed a condom to Justin, but Candi took it from him.

“Please, let me,” she said, rising upright. “You’re both focusing on me, my pleasure. I feel like I should give a little in return.”

“Hmm.” Justin pushed her onto her back. When she reached for his thick cock, he caught her wrists in his fists and slammed them up over her head. “You don’t touch until I say you can.”

A wild rush of heat blazed through her, and she gasped. She could swear she just about came.

He was lying on top of her, his skin burning against hers. And he was looking at her with dark, wild eyes. She’d never had a man look at her like that, as if she made him crazy with need.

“You like this, don’t you?” He gathered her wrists into one hand and, after shifting to one side, to give himself, and Cody, easier access to her body, skimmed his hand down her torso.

“Yes,” she whispered.

“Good. Because you’re going to get a lot of it in the future. This is just the beginning.” He rolled on his condom, and Cody did the same before lying on his back next to her.

“Come here,” he said, pulling her toward him.

They positioned her on hands and knees over him, his hips between her bent knees. And while she eased herself down onto his thick rod, Justin stretched her anus, preparing it for his invasion.

“I’ve been waiting to fuck you in the ass for a long time,” he said as he added some lube and a third finger. “You’re so fucking tight.

Tight, was right. Her soles of her feet were tight. Her jaw was tight. Her face was tight. She was too hot and so desperate to be joined with them for once and for all. She wanted to feel their cocks swell as they came inside her. She wanted to see their faces as their pleasure overtook them.

Desperate to reach the orgasm that was just beyond reach, she slammed down hard against Cody, taking him as deep as she could. His crisp curls grazed her clit, sending waves of burning need blazing through her center.

“Please,” she begged as she fucked Cody hard, her pussy clamping around his thick rod. “I can’t wait any longer.”

Cody grabbed her hips, slowing her frenzied motion. He eased her down until her cunt was full then whispered, “Easy, baby. Let him in.”

Justin’s cock pushed at her entrance. Burning. Hot. Tight. She cried out, the pain almost overwhelming. Still, he didn’t back off.

Shaking, she tried to tip her hips, moving away from the pain, but Cody held her in place. “Oh, God,” she said, her breath caught in her throat. Oh, God.”

“You’re going to take my cock,” Justin growled. “I’m going to fuck this ass.”

“No,” she said, tears gathering in her eyes. He was too big. It hurt too much. Dammit. She couldn’t take him.

“Relax.” Cody released her hips, pinching her nipples hard enough to make her whimper. Her pussy relaxed, and in Justin’s cock slid. He didn’t wait, shoved his hips forward, seating himself fully.

Stuffed with cock. In her ass and in her pussy. She couldn’t breathe. She couldn’t move. It was almost unbearable, painful and yet she felt the churning heat of her orgasm building, swirling round and round.

They moved. Both of them. Glided out a little, then back in. Out and in. Their cocks stroked every nerve ending in her body. She shook. She cried. She laughed. She screamed.

So close. Almost there.

“Faster,” she begged. “Please, faster. Harder.

The pain was oh so good. The swirling heat whipped up and down, gathering strength and speed, and then she was screaming in ecstasy as her pussy and ass pulsed around thick cock.

They fucked her through her orgasm, driving her to the brink of a second one. And just as she tumbled over the crest once again, the shouted, in unison as they came.

This was exactly what she’d been waiting for. Tender, it was not. They’d fucked her hard, mercilessly. But the tingles she felt from head to toe told her a rough fucking was exactly what she needed.

Going boneless, she flopped onto Cody, relishing the sensation of being sandwiched between her two utterly gorgeous lovers.

He hooked a finger under her chin, turning her face to his, kissed her sweetly and looked into her eyes. “Are you all right?”

“Better than all right.”

“Good,” Justin murmured in her ear. He gathered her hair over one shoulder and bit the other one, and her pussy twitched.

“Mmm.” Cody’s voice vibrated through her whole body. “She still has some energy left. I think we need to cure that.”

“Yes, please.” She clenched her inner muscles, and both men groaned.

“Oh, damn,” Justin said.

Cody laughed as he pulled out, reaching for one of the wrapped condoms he’d dropped on the bed. “What did you say? She was too delicate?”

“Delicate?” She shifted positions, moving back to hands and knees and reached between Cody’s body and hers, cupping Justin’s balls and giving them a squeeze.

“What the hell do I know?” Justin yanked out of her. “You’re going to pay for that.”

His promise, particularly the sharp edge in his voice, send a shudder down her spine.
