The idea of
Seeing Red
was something I
fiddled around with for four years. With the encouragement of my
husband, I finally believed in myself enough to complete it. I
couldn’t have done it without his constant reassurance and

for the last few months in order to finish

With that being said, it takes a village to raise
children and to write a novel. So I thank all those that helped me
with babysitting, especially my mom and dad! I love you so much.
Even though you didn’t know it at the time, I was actually writing,
writing, and writing, not drinking at a bar or cleaning the house.
I also want to thank my dad for buying me my first book at a very
young age and encouraging me to read. I get my love of books from
you, Dad.

Sidney lives in South Florida with her husband and

complete and utter chaos, trying to balance family life with work
