She shook her head. “Pill.”
He studied her face for just a moment, then
smiled, the magnitude of what she offered touching him deeply.
Trust. It had always been a part of their friendship, but now it
was trickling over into what he hoped they’d be from now on—lovers,
partners, a couple.
Becca rose on her knees as Parker grasped his
cock, guiding it to the place it had longed to be all night. When
it nudged the opening to her pussy, she started her return trip,
lowering her body to capture it more fully.
It was a tight fit. He started to call a halt
as a slight wince covered her face.
“Bec?”
She closed her eyes. “No. Not stopping. So
fucking good.”
He cupped her breasts in his hands as she
continued her descent. His jaw locked. He was in serious danger of
coming. He’d denied this moment for too long and his resistance was
in tatters.
Then, finally, her thighs rested firm against
his, his cock fully seated. Becca made no move to continue. Instead
she waited. One look at her face told him she was fighting her own
battle for endurance.
“Okay?” He squeezed her breasts gently.
“I came less than ten minutes ago.” Her tone
was sheer amazement.
He increased the pressure, lightly pinching
her nipples, unable to resist teasing her. “You’re allowed more
than one a night.”
“No shit, but if we keep this up, I’ll hit
double digits. I’m starting to wonder if a person can die from too
many orgasms.”
He leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on
one of her breasts. “I’m willing to test the theory if you
are.”
“I love how you play fast
and loose with
my
life.”
Parker chuckled. “Just don’t walk toward the
light and you’ll be fine.”
She started to reply, but her response fell
short when his lips closed around one nipple, sucking hard.
Her hands flew to his head. “Do that
again.”
“Demanding woman.”
“Is that a complaint?”
“Hell no.” Parker complied, paying the same
attention to her other breast. The harder Parker’s suction, the
more it clearly drove Becca out of her mind. She began to writhe on
his lap, her actions thrusting his cock deeper inside.
It was too much for him. Perseverance be
damned. He needed to come. Now.
Gripping her waist, he lifted her until only
the head of his dick remained inside, then he pushed her down
roughly.
Becca cried out but made no
move to pull away. Instead, she picked up the rhythm he introduced,
bouncing up and down on his cock until Parker swore she was right.
It seemed entirely possible they
would
die of pleasure. Hell yeah.
Bring on the angels and harps and clouds. He’d have no complaints
about going this way.
Becca came after less than a dozen strokes,
her pussy clenching on his hard flesh so tightly it almost
hurt.
Parker let her ride out the storm, then he
shifted their positions. Holding himself within her trembling body,
he laid her on her back on the seat, coming over her. Lifting her
legs, he threw her ankles over his shoulders and resumed his
thrusting.
Becca shook her head, her eyes closed. Her
loud demands for him to stroke faster, go deeper, to fuck her even
harder made him light-headed. Greatest. Sex. Ever. And he hadn’t
even come yet.
She reached the pinnacle again quickly and
this time, Parker was right there, beside her, ready to leap into
the abyss.
Parker felt his eyes roll back in his head.
It had been a long, strange, incredible, blow-your-mind kind of
night. And yet, he knew there was much more to come.
Leaning closer, he placed soft kisses on
Becca’s brow, her cheeks, her lips until she returned to her
senses.
“Still hanging in there?”
“I walked into the light.” Her voice was
husky, almost hoarse from her shouts, but her eyes were pure
mischief.
“Bad girl. Told you to steer clear.”
She shook her head. “No can do. All the good
stuff happens in there.”
“I agree. Maybe we should plan a return
trip?” His cock twitched at the suggestion.
Becca shoved on his shoulders until the
connection was broken and he sat up. “I need a rest. And food.
Missed my dinner break tonight.”
She resumed her place next to him on the
seat. He didn’t miss her sharp intake of breath when the new
position jarred the butt plug in her ass once more.
“Here.” Parker patted his thighs. “Lie across
my lap and let’s get that thing out of you.”
He was surprised when she obeyed easily. He
wasn’t used to this compliant Becca, instead he was accustomed to
the friend who lived for a good argument. Regardless, he enjoyed
discovering yet another layer to the woman he loved, the one he
would have sworn he knew inside and out before tonight. Now? Well,
now she was even better.
As Becca draped herself over him, all
rational thought drifted away at the image of her, naked, sprawled
facedown across his lap. Every dirty fantasy he’d ever indulged in
about her was coming true in the span of a single night. He reached
for the edge of the toy, gently working the plug out, grinning at
Becca’s squirms and sighs. While she protested and claimed she was
tired and hungry, he suspected it would take very little to get her
motor revving again.
Once the plug was removed, she started to
rise. Parker restrained her, holding her down with a strong hand on
her upper back.
“What are—?”
Her question faded as he placed a quick slap
against her ass.
“Hey,” she started, but he silenced her again
with three more firm smacks. Her bottom flushed slightly, but Becca
stopped protesting.
He took that as acquiescence as he resumed
his spanking, not stopping until he’d laid a dozen strokes on her
bottom. He varied the placement and strength, testing the waters,
wondering if she’d try to stop him.
She didn’t. Instead, she lifted her ass,
seeking out more of the sensation he offered. An entire world of
sexual fantasies opened up before him as his adventurous girl
pressed her head to the leather seat and quietly asked for
more.
Parker forced himself to pull back. All of
his intentions for the evening had gone astray. He’d planned to
take Becca home and make soft, sweet love to her in his bed. He had
envisioned rose petals and candlelight with slow, sensuous music
and romance.
What he’d gotten was a hot, sexy woman ready
to pander to every kinky desire he’d ever entertained, while
introducing him to some he’d never even imagined.
He turned her gently, coddling her on his
lap, covering her with kisses and caresses. “Love you,” he
whispered over and over, thrilled when Becca gave him the words
back.
The world continued to fly by outside the
limo, as they remained nestled in their own private Eden. Finally,
after nearly half an hour, she lifted her head from his shoulder
and looked out the window, frowning at the unfamiliar surroundings.
“This isn’t the way to your place. Is your driver lost?”
Parker shook his head. “Not exactly. Get
dressed, Bec. I have a surprise for you.”
Chapter Three
Ten minutes later, the limousine pulled over
in a neighborhood Becca had never seen. Her body was humming from
Parker’s incredible lovemaking. She was sated, yet still hungry. It
was a potent combination.
She’d thrown the T-shirt and jeans she’d worn
to work back on. It was amazing to her to think she’d been standing
behind the bar, serving up drinks only a few hours earlier. It felt
like a hundred years had passed since then. Parker grasped her
elbow as he helped her out of the car.
“Where are we?”
Parker squeezed her hand as they stood on the
sidewalk. “The home of Glen Price, a justice of the peace here in
Hollywood.”
Becca blinked, studying the simple
non-descript house, her heart racing. “Hollywood has a justice of
the peace?”
Parker grinned. “Yep, a few of them. I pulled
some strings and got us a marriage license. Figured there should be
some perks to being a famous movie star.”
Becca rolled her eyes.
“You’re kidding, right? Your whole life is one big exception as
people roll out the red carpet for you every time you take two
steps out of your house. I watched my father experience that
same
the rules don’t apply because you’re
famous
lifestyle, remember?”
Parker ignored her, changing the subject to
one he’d obviously been anxious to broach since the show ended. “I
asked you a question onstage. You never answered me.”
Becca raised one eyebrow. “I don’t remember a
question. Just a command.”
Parker’s face was equal parts amused and
guilty. “Fine. Then I’ll word it as a question.”
Becca’s heart stuttered and missed a few
beats when Parker went down on his knee. He reached into the pocket
of his jeans and produced a ring.
“Parker,” she whispered.
“Will you marry me, Becca? Tonight?”
She swallowed heavily, trying to decide if
the sudden butterflies in her stomach were the result of excitement
or panic. “Why the rush?”
“I’d hardly call four years rushing things. I
love you and I think I know you better than anyone. I know your
favorite food is sushi and that you hate rap music and all about
your unhealthy obsession for Gerard Butler.”
“Oooo, Gerard,” she teased.
He rose and cupped her face with one hand,
not laughing at her joke. Instead, his expression was more serious
than any she’d ever seen. “I understand you’re afraid and I know
why. I know what your dad did to you and your mom. All I can do is
promise you forever, then spend the next fifty years or so proving
to you exactly what that vow means to me.”
Every word he said was true. She’d been a
fool, blind and stubborn, holding on to her prejudices against
actors while letting it distort the truth. Parker had never lied to
her, never broken her trust or given her reason to believe he
wouldn’t be completely faithful. The impact of that realization hit
her hard, awakening her understanding that she’d made things pretty
difficult for him. “Why have you put up with me for so long? I’m a
total pain in the ass.”
He chuckled. “No, you’re not.”
She tilted her head, letting
her
Yeah right
expression speak for her.
“Well, maybe you are. A little bit. But I
have my moments too. Let’s face it, there’s probably no one else on
the planet who’d be willing to put up with either one of us for
long.”
She laughed.
“Say yes, Bec. It’s a simple word. Three
letters.”
It was simpler than he knew. All her fears
fell away as she looked at his beloved face. “Yes.”
He slid the ring on her finger, then kissed
her, softly at first, but soon the intensity grew as the
significance of the moment crashed down on both of them. Becca
tangled her fingers in his hair as Parker captured her waist,
drawing her nearer until she couldn’t get any closer unless she
climbed inside him.
After a few long, blissful minutes, he broke
the connection. “Now I’m going to get greedy. I want three more
letters.”
“Letters or words?” she asked, thinking he’d
screwed up his request. “Because you don’t even have to ask for
them. I love you.”
His smile took her breath
away. “I love you too. And while those words are nice, the three
letters I’m after are
I
do
.”
Becca laughed. “I think I can handle
those.”
She took his proffered hand as he led her
into the house. Becca was shocked to discover Emma, Jack, Travis
and Shea there, waiting for them.
“
You helped set this up
too?” Becca asked Emma, though there wasn’t a spark of anger in her
tone. Her friend had forced Becca to face the truth by setting up
the Scoundrels fantasy. Emma had shown her exactly what was in
front of her nose that she’d been too blind to recognize. She owed
Emma so much.
Emma shook her head. “Nope. I didn’t have a
clue, I swear. Parker’s manager showed up right after the two of
you made your escape and delivered invitations to all of us. We’re
here to stand up as witnesses to your wedding.”
Becca wanted to chastise Parker for being so
cocky, so sure he’d get his way, but she was too damn happy to
care. She was glad he was tenacious, thrilled and touched by the
lengths he’d gone to. He’d grabbed this happy ending for them and
known how much having her friends here would mean to her. It was
just more proof that she was the luckiest woman on earth.
“Thank you,” she whispered when he wrapped
his arm around her, tugging her close. She felt tears forming in
her eyes. In the past, she would have wiped them away, swallowed
them down, rather than let the emotion show. This time, she didn’t
care if the world saw. She was beyond happy, thrilled, overwhelmed.
Amazed.
Parker caught one with the tip of his finger.
“Second thoughts?”
She captured his hand and sucked his finger
into her mouth. Parker’s gaze narrowed, lust reemerging.
“Never.”
Parker turned and found Shea winking at him.
“Your manager asked me to deliver these to you.”
She handed him a wreath of flowers that
Parker placed on Becca’s head like a crown. “I’m sure you didn’t
imagine yourself getting married in jeans and a T-shirt. If you
want, we can have a big ceremony later, complete with a dress,
tuxedos, a band and a million guests.”
Becca reached up to touch the delicate
wreath. “This is perfect. I don’t need anything more than
tonight.”
After a lifetime lived in the shadow cast by
her father, Parker had thrown her center stage, shone the spotlight
on her and made her feel like a star. It was a precious gift.
