Stretching my hands out, I cupped them over her eyes. She stopped short, head perking up high and alert. “Who is that?” She giggled nervously, pulling the small speakers from her ears.
I tried to alter my voice, speaking in a deeper tone. “Take a guess.” The words came out gurgled and hoarse.
Rocking her hip to one side, her arms folded over each other. A sweet humming noise floated from her lips. “Hm, I don't know.” Lifting a pointed finger, she said, “But I hope it's someone I actually know, it would be pretty messed up if you were a stranger. I might have to kick you if that's the case, so fair warning.”
I couldn't stop the laughter from bubbling up and out, hitting my throat with force. “Oh trust me, babe...” Pausing, I started to loosen my fingers. “You know me, you know me well, and I certainly know you. I can't forget that ass.”
Jerking her shoulders, I knew she recognized my voice then. There was no doubt in my mind, or her body. The subtle shudder that radiated through her muscles, sent chills across my neck.
“Silas?” she asked, turning slowly to face me.
“In the flesh.” My smile rode the entire length of my jaw. “I'm glad you remember me, I didn't feel like getting kicked today.”
Heidi stood silent, her lips opened softly, eyes wide with surprise. “You're lucky then, my legs are tired from working.” Fiddling with her bag, her eyes rapidly darted around behind my face. “How are you?”
“Better now,” I said, shoving my hands into my pockets. “So you work at Sebastian's?”
Shaking her head yes, she twisted her waist side to side. “What brings you around here?”
“You want an honest answer, or do you want me to make something up?” Smiling, I rocked against my heels. “Because I can just tell you what you want to hear, but I'd rather not.”
Exhaling a quick laugh, she smiled back. “The honest answer is fine.”
God, she's so fucking sexy. My cock can't take it, I could have her every day and I'd never get bored.
Even in her plain Jane uniform, smeared with remnants of god knows what, she was stunning.
The soft floral smell of her perfume was mixed with the sweet sultry scent of delicious sweat. I wondered how different she might taste today compared to the last time we were together. Would her skin taste salty? Would her smooth, supple flesh have the hint of a long day at work?
My entire body ached to find out, dick thickening with the blood rushing down hard. Biting my lower lip, I said, “I came to find you.” Cocking my head to the side, elbows held out. “So, here I am.”
Bringing a thumb to her mouth, she nibbled on the nail. “I'm supposed to believe that? I thought you wanted to be honest?”
“That's the truth. I had to ask a lot of people around here before someone finally gave you up.”
“Really?” Her tone fell flat, drawing out over her tongue.
“Yeah, really.”
“And what for? Why would you look for me?”
“You ducked out that night, and I wasn't done with you yet.” Stepping in, I bridged the gap between us.
Tossing the hair from her face, her skin flushed a deep pink. She wouldn't look me in the eye, shifting her sight around my face. “Maybe I was done with you.”
Laughing, I pushed the limit some, reaching my arm out and running small circles over her elbow. “No,
we
weren't done, you know that too.”
I waited for her to step back, cringe over my subtle demand for more. But she didn't, her mouth went crooked, a wordless tugging grin. Watching her thighs rub slowly together, Heidi ran her fingers over her palm.
And there it was, my answer.
Yes.
“What difference does it make? That night ended when I walked out the door.” Her attempted shoot down was a fail. The emotions needed to make me believe that remark weren't there. They were dead words, falling right out of the air and hitting the ground the moment they left her lips.
“And tonight is a continuation of that, I'm taking you out.”
A thin brow rose to her forehead. “You're taking me out?”
“I'll be at your house around seven, and maybe this time,” Briefly pausing, I bit my knuckle. “It pains me to say this, but pants are better for the bike. So keep that in mind.”
“You're serious?” Heidi said, clasping her hands together, they lifted to her lips.
“Do I look like I'm kidding?” Drawing the muscles on my face down, I made the most stone still expression I could.
“Hold your eyes open more.” She pointed up, narrowing her brows. Widening my lids, Heidi smiled. “Alright, there it is. That's your serious face. Perfect.”
I couldn't stop my lungs from bursting, chuckling hard. “Good, I'm glad we fixed that. So seven, be ready.”
“Do you even know where I live?”
“Maybe.” Pulling my phone from my pocket, I held it up and shook it. “But, I'll take your number in case I have any trouble.”
Her lip raised up a hair. “You're a very convincing man, Silas.”
“Good, that means it's working.”
Punching Heidi's number into my phone, I gave her mine too. I didn't really have any clue where she lived. That was going to be my next step if I couldn't find out where she worked.
Lucky for me, she took the bait.
I could feel the heat exploding off her body, she wanted more just like me.
And I was going to give it to her, all while taking what was mine.
“Where exactly are you taking me? Back to your place?” Heidi shifted on her feet, a single hip dipped out.
“No, but if you want to just skip the rest, I'd be more than happy to start and end the date there.” Folding my elbows out, I shrugged my shoulders.
“I'm curious now what you have planned. I'll take what comes first.” Her fingers fiddled with each other, twining nervously.
“Alright, I'll see you at seven. Unless you want to come with me now, I wouldn't mind that at all.” Winking, I nodded my head towards the lot where my motorcycle was parked.
“Yeah, I don't think so. I need to shower first,” she said, holding her arms out.
“Suit yourself, then I'll see you later.” Stepping off the sidewalk, I turned my head to look at her one last time. She was smiling, arms held in front of her waist. Crossing the street, I yelled over my shoulder. “Oh and if you want, panties are an option.”
Twisting her neck, she shook her head. Throwing her hair from her face, Heidi continued up the street.
Her ass swayed, each perfect round cheek, bouncing with her steps. Watching her go wasn't as painful as waking to her gone.
At least then, I knew I'd be seeing her again soon.
It took me too long to find her, too long to track the one that stuck like a spike in my mind.
I wasn't letting that happen again, Heidi had walked into my world.
There was no way in hell I'd ever let her leave.
Not again.
Heidi
“H
eidi!” The loud stern voice of my dad echoed up the stairs. “Heidi!”
Cringing to his tone, the demanding sounds of a control freak, I crept to the railing. “Yeah?” I asked, squinting my eyes, hoping he wasn't going to start barking orders at me. My father was an ex-sheriff, he used to patrol the streets of this town.
That was one of the toughest things for me as a young girl, and honestly... It hasn't really changed much.
Sheriff Dalton Gavin, was a well known presence around here. As a kid, that made it difficult for me to do anything, date anyone, and have any chance of a real relationship.
Before my senior prom my dad grilled the guy I was going with. Asking him all kinds of ridiculous questions about his driving record, family history, all kinds of shit. I half expected him to whip out a lie detector and check his answers.
But he didn't have to do that, he was able to run a background check on every person related to the kid. When we finally left, Jacob wouldn't sit any closer than two feet next to me. He spent the entire dance looking over his shoulder and checking his watch.
Since I started college, it got a whole lot worse, I think he has a fear of losing me. And with all the horrible things he saw while on the force, and what happened to our family, I tried not to blame him for it.
Craning his neck to look up the stairs, he shifted his glasses to the bridge of his nose. “What's this I hear about you and some thug on the street today?”
Are you fucking kidding me? Already?
I was shocked he found out about Silas so quickly. We lived in a small town, a place where everyone knew everything with the drop of a dime.
But this was a lot faster than usual, I hadn't even been home for more than two hours before he started his interrogation. “It's nothing dad, really.” Rolling my eyes, my fingers curled tightly around the iron. “Please, don't do this. I'm not a little girl anymore, I'm twenty-two.”
“That doesn't mean your immune from the assholes of the world. What's his name?”
“Silas.” Mumbling his name, I tried to say it and make it inaudible at the same time.
Leaning in on the banister, he tugged the glasses from his face. “Speak so I can hear you.”
“Silas, Silas Hamilton.” Huffing under my breath, I ran my hands over my head, pulling my hair back tight. “Alright? Are you satisfied now?”
My father's lips went taut, razor thin across his jaw line. “And?”
“And what?” Letting my hair fall into my face, my head tilted. “What do you want me to say? That I'm going out with him tonight? Because the answer is yes, I have a date with him tonight.”
“No, you're not going anywhere with him till I find out more about this guy.”
“What!?” Slamming my palms down, the railing vibrated with the crash. “Look, I know you worry about me, but dad, I'm not a child! I'm going out with him, and that's that.” Jerking my body around, I stormed off into my room.
What the fuck! I'm so sick of him trying to control me!
I was a grown woman, he couldn't keep trying to set his fist down on my personal life. I had given him a lot of my youth, a lot of missed parties, and plain fun.
He had to stop this, it was getting old. Not once had I ever given him any reason not to trust me, I've always obeyed his rules.
But I couldn't take much more of this. He needed to loosen the noose he had wrapped around my neck. I needed more freedom, and a damn personal life that wasn't ruled by his iron fist.
Standing in front of the mirror, I adjusted my pink sweater. Tugging it slightly lower than I normally would wear it, my breasts plumped over the edges, a subtle peek of flesh.
Slipping on my calf high boots, I glanced out my window.
No Silas yet, but there's still ten minutes till seven.
Stepping to my jewelry box, my fingers ran across the silver charm bracelet my mother had given me.
Picking it up, I rolled it between my fingers, lifting it eye height. I really missed her, she was a great mom. She passed away four years ago, and it's been tough not having her to talk to.
She was the calming voice in my dad's ear, the soothing sound of reason when it came to giving me a little leeway. Anything I was ever able to go do, that he had said no to originally, was because of her.
My mother would remind him of what they did as kids, she'd give him a delicate kiss, and whisper into his ear. Then I'd get the
'alright, go,'
head nod.
After we lost her, I watched my dad deflate. He wasn't the same man, and I guess I was never the same either.
How could we be?
A light ding, rang on my phone.
A text, maybe it's Silas.
I thought, dropping the chain back into the box. Clicking it open, I was right. A smile curled up on the edge of my lip, my stomach turned like a million tiny goldfish bouncing off a glass bowl.
Giggling to myself, I read his message;
-On my way, send me your address. And don't forget to wear pants. Even though they won't be on for long.-
Silas was bold, and I loved his blatant honesty. It was refreshing to have someone not sugar coat things, telling me straight out what their intentions were.
My thighs began to heat, the fire growing inside curled its thin fingers towards my clit. The swelling sensation sent tingles up my back, hitting my brain with force.
The feelings he can charge me with, it blows my mind!
I wanted to let this bad boy do ungodly things to me, I was welcoming the excitement that spewed around him into my world. He wasn't the typical guy I had always gone for, he was darker, dangerous.
He was exactly what my father always warned me about.
The low rumble of an engine made its way up the street. Grabbing my small silver clutch, I charged down the stairs. I wanted to fly out the front door, escape the house before my father even had the chance to notice I was gone.
The last thing I wanted was my dad meeting Silas, then I'd be cuffed to the pipe under the sink, and Silas...
I didn't even want to think about what my dad would do to him. Silas, covered in tattoos, with the
'I don't give a flying fuck,'
attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if my dad decided to dust off his thirty-eight.
Silas had no idea what he was walking into, the fact my father used to be a cop.
Throwing the door open, I ran through the front lawn. Without pause I jumped onto the back of his bike, whispering into his ear. “Go, go, go.”
Angling his head, a crooked grin spread across his face. “Antsy, huh? I knew my cock was a drug, you need a fix don't you?”
Slapping his shoulder, I yelled, “Just go already!” Silas turned the throttle, and we were gone. My head whipped back, wind slapping against my face.
A rush filled my body, a feeling I didn't recognize. Adrenaline. It had started to course through my veins, heart pumping a rhythm like a drummer playing double bass in a heavy metal band.
And I smiled, gleaming from ear to ear. Freedom in the form of pleasure.
Rolling to a red light, Silas looked over his shoulder. “What was that all about?”
“Nothing, don't worry about it.” Fear mixed in with nerves. I didn't want him to know about who my dad was, this was a night for fun. I didn't need to ruin it by striking him down with information on my dad.
