When morning came, Sydney rolled over and looked at the empty beside her. She stood and stretched. She could smell the coffee brewing. He’d drink the coffee. He always made her tea with her favorite orange honey.

Walking out, she leaned into him. Carter kissed her head and told her it would be ready soon. She knew life was looking out for her when he took off running, only to end up right back on her doorstep moments later. She was the only one for him...body, mind, and bear soul.
