So
when
was
that?

Queen
swallowed
hard
as
a
lump
begin
to
form
in
her
throat.

Two
months
ago.

Two
months
ago?

Yeah,
I
hadn

t
heard
from
her
since
then.
Then
tonight
she
showed
up
talking
this
crazy
ass
shit
that
she
was
going
to
tell
you
that
she
…”
Logic
hesitated.

Tell
me
what?

Queen
I
swear
to
God
I
used
protection.

Logic
…
Fuck!
How
could
you
be
so
damn
irresponsible?
Why
couldn

t
you
just
strap
up?

Queen
asked
as
she
begin
to
unravel.

Queen,
I
did
and
she
said
she
was
on
the
patch.
I
even
checked
for
the
damn
patch.
The
bitch
was
just
playing
me
and
Teddy
for
that
matter.

Queen
slumped
down
into
the
first
chair
she
could
find.
Knowing
that
all
of
this
shit
was
her
fault
she
really
couldn

t
go
postal
and
beat
the
shit
out
of
his
dumb
ass
like
she
really
wanted
to.
Faced
with
the
sobering
fact
there
was
no
one
to
blame
for
this
predicament
but
herself
Queen
did
the
only
thing
she
could
do,
absolutely
nothing.

Logic
attempted
to
comfort
her
by
hugging
her
and
holding
her
tight,
but
his
touch
felt
foreign
to
Queen
and
it
oddly
burned
her
skin
like
acid.
She
wanted
to
pull
away,
but
deep
down
she
knew
that
Logic
needed
to
be
held
just
as
much
as
she
did.
So
she
endured
the
discomfort
and
clung
to
him
in
silence
as
tears
of
failure
raced
down
her
face.

Yes
tears
of
failure.
Queen
had
one
job
and
one
job
only
in
their
relationship
and
that
was
to
keep
her
fifty
million
dollar
man
happy
and
satisfied.
Did
he
ever
complain?
Hell
no!
Was
he
completely
satisfied?
Hell
Yeah!
Was
he
happy?
Not
as
happy
as
he
would
have
been
if
Queen
hadn

t
been
fucking
around
with
Teddy?

Look
we

re
going
to
get
through
this.
I
don

t
think
she

s
really
pregnant
and
if
she
is
I

m
convinced
that
it

s
not
mine.
And
even
if
it
is
mine
we

ll
survive.
I
just
want
to
know
one
thing.

Logic
knelt
on
one
knee
before
Queen
to
wipe
her
face.

Queen
look
at
me.

But
Queen
couldn

t
look
at
him.
Not
only
could
she
not
look
at
him
she
wasn

t
sure
that
she

d
ever
look
at
him
the
same
again.
Her
head
felt
like
it
was
going
to
sloth
off,
and
everywhere
he
touched
her
was
on
fire
and
not
in
a
good
way.
Every
fiber
of
her
being
just
wanted
to
run
the
hell
out
of
there
and
never
look
back.

Damn,
how
did
I
fuck
this
up?

She
thought.

Mye
Queen
look
at
me.
I
need
to
ask
you
something?

Logic
persisted.

What
Logic?

She
responded,
still
holding
her
head
in
her
hands,
trying
to
stop
it
from
throbbing.

Will
you
marry
me?

What?

She
asked
puzzled
as
she
looked
up
to
find
Logic
presenting
her
with
the
biggest
diamond
she
had
ever
seen.

Everything
went
wrong
tonight
and
when
I
say
everything
I
mean
everything.
I

m
sorry
about
it
all,
from
the
comment
about
sucking
dick
to
inviting
X
here
and
of
course
Sam.
I

m
sorry.
And
I
hope
you
will
let
me
make
it
up
to
you.
Can
you
forgive
me?

Yes.

Queen
sighed.

Look,
I

ve
been
trying
to
find
the
right
time
to
ask
you
this
all
night,
but
everything
and
everybody
just
kept
getting
in
the
way.
Mye
Queen
I
love
you
more
than
I
love
life.
So,
in
the
mist
of
all
this
confusion
and
chaos
that
went
down
tonight,
I

m
asking
you
again,
will
you
marry
me?

Queen
stared
at
the
humongous
diamond
ring
that
Logic
presented
her
for
what
seemed
like
an
eternity.
After
carefully
assessing
everything
that
happened
since
they
arrived,
including
her
quickie
with
Teddy,
Queen
came
to
a
sobering
decision
that
her
engagement
to
Logic
was
a
sham.
She
couldn

t
continue
to
live
a
lie
and
hurt
him
in
the
process.
So
she
wiped
her
eyes,
took
a
big
cleansing
breath
and
removed
her
previous
engagement
ring
from
her
finger.
Queen
slipped
the
ring
on
the
tip
of
Logic

s
pinky
finger.
Anticipating
that
her
answer
was
yes
he
smiled
and
kissed
her
hand
when
she
was
done.
