and left the room. He padded out to the kitchen barefoot and pulled

his way to the outside table beside the pool and sat down in a chair.

It was dark outside now.
The only light coming from a nearly full moon from above. Alex
tipped his head back over the chair headrest and gazed up at the

The scuffing sound of
footsteps on the stone patio dragged Alex from his daydream. He

Chase smiled. “She
seems okay with all of it.”

And,
what about you seeing me inside Danni?” Alex asked.

An easy smile formed on
Chase's face. “That was almost my favorite part,” he
said, his fingers combed through Alex's drying hair. “The best
part for me, was being inside you while you were in Danni. I'm not
