Never Turn Away (Kellington Book Six) (25 page)

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The Kellington saga is done….for now.  Though there
will likely be other books down the line.  Mel’s cousin Mary deserves a good
husband and Violet will somehow find a way to meet a man, though her dear papa
will be steps away brandishing a dueling pistol.

It has been a wonderful journey because of all of
you.  And I look forward to the next series centering on the Earl of Ridgeway
and his family, with a few appearances from the Kellingtons.

As always, my heartfelt thanks to the amazing
Melanie Friedman at Bookworm2bookworm.wordpress.com for being the first to
believe in me and for giving me the encouragement to keep going.  I had some
great beta readers, including Anabel Vazquez, Janice Minsberg, Terree Nelson
Lyman, Linda Thurmond DeCristofaro and Amal Chaaban.  Jennifer Omner at
Allpublications.com did another amazing cover and makes this so much fun, and
author John Heldt was always there to lend his support.

A special thank you to Joke Fincioen for being my
mentor and inspiration – though she’s about two decades younger than I.  She’s
also the first one to tell me Violet should have a book.

Thank you to Kelly Heffner and Susan Wang who’ve
encouraged me for years.  Now it’s time for them to go for their dreams, as
well.

I’m sad to leave the Kellingtons behind.  I recently
formed a production company to make a web series (it’s a science fiction thing
without any romance at all).  When I was searching for a name for the company,
one came to me pretty quickly:  Kellington Pictures.  I like having them near.

As always, I want to thank my mom for making me a
reader and giving me a lifetime of love and encouragement.

Liam gave the wedding toast and I would like to do
one here.  To all my wonderful reader friends who have taken the Kellingtons to
heart…I hope you have the love you deserve that will last the ages.

And if you don’t have it yet, never lose faith that
you will.

All my best,

Maureen
