Federal Paranormal Agency 6 - Leannan (9 page)

One particular message caught his eye. It was simply titled, Casino. He opened the e-mail and started reading.

Mr.
Ó Branagáin, I wanted to let you know that we received the delivery today. I unpacked the slot machines and blackjack tables personally, and everything is perfect. I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow evening at Darby Castle.

Thomas groaned. Now that he’d read the e-mail, Thomas had to report it. “I shouldn’t have looked at his phone.”

Thomas closed Duncan’s e-mail and dropped the device back onto the couch. Walking over to the fenced enclosure, he put Lucky down. The little guy looked up at him, whining sadly.

“Go to sleep.” Thomas scratched his head playfully. “I’ll see you in the morning.”

Before shutting his phone off, Thomas sent a text to Agent Palmer. As soon as the message went through, he deleted it and put the cellphone back into the pocket of his jeans, still lying on the floor.

“What a night.” He sighed quietly. Thomas went back upstairs. He opened the bedroom door, carefully slipping inside without making a sound.

“Where did you go?” Duncan asked.

Thomas froze instantly. “I went downstairs to get a glass of water.”

“I thought you might’ve gone back to the guest room.”

Thomas shook his head. “I like waking up next to you.”

Duncan threw back the sheet, welcoming him back. Thomas strode toward the bed. He climbed up onto the soft mattress and cuddled close to his mate.

“Good.” He wrapped Thomas in a tight embrace. “I like having you right here.”

Chapter Nine

Duncan woke up when Thomas moved and the bed shifted. Rolling onto his back, Duncan lifted his arms above his
head
and stretched. Warm, naked flesh glided over his skin, and Duncan opened his eyes, watching Thomas crawl onto his lap, straddling his hips. Thomas smiled down at him, a beautiful little grin twisting his lips. Duncan stared up at him in awe, breathless and overwhelmed by the tender feelings he had toward Thomas.

“Mmm,” Duncan groaned. “I could wake up like this every morning.”

Thomas pulled his lower lip into his mouth, gently nibbling on the flesh. He looked shy all of the sudden, especially since he’d been so bold only seconds ago. Duncan waited, knowing there was something on Thomas’s mind.

“I…uh…” He cleared his throat. “I want to taste you.”

Easing up to a seated position, Duncan leaned back against the headboard. He placed his hands on the bed, forcing himself not to reach out and touch Thomas. His lover was curious. He wanted to touch and explore.

“I’m all yours, love.”

Thomas leaned forward. He brushed his lips against Duncan’s before kissing Duncan’s neck and throat. Thomas moved his way down the length of Duncan’s chest, placing a trail of hot kisses along the way. His cock twitched in anticipation as Thomas’s beautiful plump lips descended. He couldn’t believe how innocent Thomas was. The young man acted
boldly
, but Duncan knew the truth. He could see it in Thomas’s eyes, uncertain and hesitant but curious nonetheless. As soon as his mouth was in front of Duncan’s hard shaft, he paused and glanced up.

“Keep going, baby.”

The simple words of encouragement seemed to be all Thomas needed to hear. The young man stuck out his tongue and lapped at the tip of Duncan’s cock, pulling a droplet of pre-cum into his mouth. Closing his eyes, Thomas groaned, obviously enjoying the taste.

Thomas wrapped his hand around the base of Duncan’s shaft, steadying his erection as he slowly enveloped his lips around Duncan’s cockhead. Soft lips and an agile tongue worked enthusiastically
around his shaft. When Thomas looked up at him once again, Duncan smiled.

“Your mouth feels so good, love.”
Lifting a hand, Duncan carefully caressed the back of Thomas’s head, running his fingers over the man’s skull.

Thomas’s tongue danced over Duncan’s cock, licking and stroking his length. Bobbing his head, Thomas swallowed Duncan’s shaft on each downward stroke.

Duncan’s eyes roamed over Thomas’s naked body, taking in the strong lines and soft curves. He wanted to touch and taste his lover. He needed to be an active participant.

“Stop.”

Thomas froze instantly. He pulled his mouth off Duncan’s dick and licked his plump lips, running his pink tongue along the swollen flesh. Duncan groaned.

“Did I do something wrong?” he asked, looking incredibly insecure.

“Spin around, love.”

Thomas gave him a questioning look, and Duncan grinned.
Another first, my love.
He shimmied down the bed, lying flat on his back. Duncan stretched out. He grabbed Thomas and helped him into the sixty-nine position.

Duncan wrapped his mouth around the head of Thomas’s cock at the same time that Thomas leaned down and enveloped Duncan’s shaft with his sweet lips. The moist heat alone was enough to make him come. Grabbing hold of Thomas’s ass, Duncan moved his head, swallowing Thomas’s length down his throat.

Now that he’d gotten a taste, Duncan wanted more.

Pulling off Thomas’s dick, he lifted the man’s
erection
and tongued his balls. Duncan sucked each globe into his mouth. Thomas moaned around Duncan’s cock as he moved his hips. Instead of pulling Thomas’s length back into his mouth, Duncan moved his tongue toward Thomas’s little hole. He buried his face in the crease of Thomas’s ass, his tongue probing the pink pucker. Once Thomas’s hole was coated in saliva, Duncan slowly pushed his finger
into
Thomas’s ass.

“Oh God…” Thomas
panted
. “I’m gonna…”

Duncan grasped Thomas’s cock. He put the head into his mouth, sucking on the tip until warm jets of spunk landed on his tongue. He swallowed down each drop.

Thomas sucked harder, his
movements
quick and enthusiastic. He swirled his tongue around Duncan’s shaft, taking him deeper into his mouth. Thomas bobbed his head, making little whining sounds of pleasure. The noises pushed Duncan over the edge.

Duncan’s hips jerked upward as hard spurts of cum shot down Thomas’s throat. He fell back on the bed, boneless, his
mind
blown. Thomas slowly eased up on the pressure. He continued to suckle, gentle little pulls on Duncan’s
cock
until his shaft softened. Sitting up, Thomas turned around. He laid down flat against Duncan’s chest, and he automatically wrapped his arms around his lover.

“I want to take you out tonight.”

Thomas lifted his head, his brows furrowed. “Like…a date?”

“Are you against going on a date with me?”

“No.” He shook his head. “Of course not.”

“Good.” Duncan gave Thomas’s hip a light tap. “Let’s take a shower. We need to get you a tux.”

“A tux?” Thomas sputtered, scrunching up his nose in disgust.

“Come on.” Duncan chuckled.

Thomas groaned in disappointment, clearly unhappy with Duncan’s suggestion. Sitting up, Duncan threw his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, still holding Thomas against his chest.

“I can walk,” he whined.

“I know you can, but I like holding you.”

“Fine.” He sighed. “It’s your back.”

Duncan scoffed. Carrying Thomas wasn’t a hardship. The man fit perfectly against his chest. It was as if he were made for Duncan.

When he reached the bathroom, Duncan lowered Thomas to the floor, carefully setting him on his feet. He opened the door leading to the shower and ushered the young man inside. Duncan stepped around Thomas and turned the faucet on, adjusting the temperature. Once it was warm, he pulled Thomas under the spray.

“Mmm,” he moaned. Thomas closed his eyes and tilted his head back, running his fingers through his hair. “This feels so good.”

Grabbing the shower gel, Duncan opened the lid and poured a generous amount into his palm. He put the bottle back on the shelf before rubbing his hands together, building up a nice lather.

“Come here, love.”

Thomas opened his eyes and stepped out from underneath the heavy spray. Duncan reached out. He placed both of his hands on Thomas’s chest and slowly moved them downward, creating little circles as he went. He covered Thomas’s flesh, creating an artful little masterpiece with the soap bubbles as he covered the man’s body.

“Do you really hate wearing a tux?”

“I don’t know.” Thomas shrugged. “I’ve never worn one before. I’m just more of a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy.”

“Black tie is mandatory tonight, but I’ll make you a deal.”

“I’m listening.”

“If you wear the tux for a few hours tonight, afterward, I’ll bring you home and rip it off.”

“Promise?”

“I prefer you naked anyway.”

“I can live with that.” Thomas winked.

“Now, you’d better rinse off and get out of here. I can’t keep my hands to myself when you’re nearby. You’re a distraction.”

Thomas grinned as he stepped back under the spray, rinsing the soap away. Once he was finished, Thomas leaned forward and brushed his lips across Duncan’s chest.

“I’m going to the guest room to get dressed, and then I need to take Lucky outside for a few minutes. Take your time. I’ll meet you downstairs.”

“Okay.”

Duncan watched as Thomas stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel before disappearing altogether.

It was easier to get through his morning routine now that he wasn’t completely focused on Thomas’s presence. When he was finished, Duncan shut the water off and stepped out of the shower. The cool air hit his skin, sending a shiver racing up his spine and goose bumps over his flesh.

Snatching a clean towel from the nearest shelf, Duncan started drying off as he strode toward the closet. He tossed the towel into a nearby hamper before grabbing a pair of jeans and a lightweight cobalt blue sweater. He pulled on the worn denim before slipping the sweater on. He straightened the buttery-soft material, smoothing it over his chest. Duncan found his favorite pair of tennis shoes and slid them on.

Now that he was ready to go, Duncan went in search of Thomas. He left his bedroom and strolled down the hallway. Duncan paused when he reached the top of the stairs. He took a moment to watch Thomas and Lucky play. The two rolled around on the living room floor as if they were lifelong buddies. Seeing Thomas’s smile and hearing his laughter made Duncan’s heart beat a little bit faster.

He couldn’t believe how much having Thomas’s presence had changed his world. He wanted to be a better man for Thomas. He wanted to be worthy of the man’s love.

Duncan jogged down the stairs. “Are you ready to go?”

“Yeah.” Thomas jumped to his feet. He picked Lucky up and put the puppy into his playpen.

“You’ve got water and food, buddy. I’ll be back later,” Thomas said to Lucky, scratching the little guy behind the ear.

“We’ll grab something to eat while we’re out, if that’s okay with you?” Duncan grabbed his cellphone off the couch and found his wallet tucked in the back pocket of the dress pants he’d worn the night before.

“Is there a Starbucks here?”

“Oh no,” Duncan groaned.

“What?” Thomas asked, his voice laced with concern.

“Are you a coffee snob?”

His shoulders dropped, and the pensive look faded away in an instant. “Don’t judge me.”

Duncan chuckled lightly. “You’ll be happy to know that we have three stores in the area.”

“I guess Belfast isn’t so bad after all.”

* * * *

After grabbing an iced coffee and a couple bacon breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks, Duncan pulled to a stop at their destination, a posh men’s boutique.

Thomas wasn’t looking forward to going on a shopping adventure with Duncan. From the outside, the store seemed a little snooty for his tastes. All the big brands were pronounced even before entering— Hugo Boss, Armani, Diesel, and other names Thomas didn’t recognize. But he wasn’t going to complain, even if he was normally a cheapskate when it came to purchasing clothes. Thomas got out of Duncan’s SUV. Duncan came around the front of the vehicle. He gasped Thomas’s left hand, leading him into the boutique.

A little bell tinkled softly as they stepped inside.

“Mr.
Ó Branagáin.”
A tall, thin older gentleman greeted Duncan with a bright smile. “It’s good to see you again.”

“It’s good to see you as well, Mr. Lyons.”

“What can I do for you today, sir?”

“Today, I’m shopping for my boyfriend. This is Thomas Doyle.” Duncan introduced him.
Boyfriend?
Thomas had never been referred to as a boyfriend before.

“It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Doyle.”

“Please, call me Thomas.”

“Of course.” He tilted his head in acknowledgement.

“Thomas needs a tux for tonight, but more than that, he needs a full wardrobe— jeans, sweaters, T-shirts, and a warm jacket.”

Thomas groaned internally. He didn’t want Duncan buying him a lot of clothes. It wasn’t practical.

“Please take some time to look around.” Mr. Lyons held out his arm. “I’ll get a dressing room set up.” The older gentleman turned away. He walked toward the back of the store and started pulling different items from the racks and shelves.

“What is he doing?” Thomas asked.

The shopping experience here is first class.” Duncan moved toward the first table of clothes, skimming his fingertips over the fabrics. “Mr. Lyons has a great eye for what will suit you.
From just one look, he knows your size and what colors would look best on you. He’s setting up a dressing room with everything you’ll need.”

Thomas had to admit he was impressed. He followed Duncan around the boutique and spotted the sweater that his boyfriend was currently wearing. Glancing at the price tag, Thomas’ eyes widened.
Ninety-eight dollars for a sweater?
He continued on, looking at the clothes.
Armani jeans. Two hundred dollars. Seriously?
Thomas felt ill just thinking about how much money Duncan would be spending on him. It was ridiculous.
