All
of him.

And I meant it. I
wanted all of him because I was his as much as he was MINE.

Mine,

EPILOGUE

Eleven
months later

Dylan

I
cannot believe you are getting married today,

I said to my big
brother.

About
damn time if you asked me,

he grunted as he took another swing
of his beer.

Shouldn

t
you be with the women anyway?

They
all just want to fuss over Logan. I needed a breather,

I confessed.

No
worries,

he laughed.

So
when are you going to let Knox make an honest woman out of you?

Why
would this cow sell herself when she has so much going for her?

I joined in his laughter.

What? Is my
growing stomach not enough evidence that I am off the market?

I
had to agree with Knox that pregnancy looks good you on.

Oh,
like you are not going to say the same thing about your wife when she gets
prego with your little filly.

I
most definitely will think it, say it, and mean it every single time.

We both laughed.  He
was just so damn cute when it came to Logan. A comfortable silence rested
between us as we took in the warm day. I could hardly believe it had almost
been a year since I met my brother and father, and eventually became a part of
this crazy family.

Knox
had been right all along. Some families do come neatly tied together with
pretty ribbon and others are forged through hard times and brotherhood. And yet
some still are made through sacrifices and laughter, goodwill and tough choices
that make sticking together all the more worth it. That was what made it a true
family.

Knox

The
reception was well under way as we celebrated the marriage of Colton and Logan.
Two people I could not love more in this world. I always had a brother in
Colton, but now I gained a sister in Logan. Cam, as I was told, continued to
propose to Tank on a monthly basis and he finally agreed to marry her once she
was done college. The very next day Campbell was enrolled in junior college to
get her Associates in business. She told everyone that she wanted to run the
shop, take over our real estate and maybe even expand the businesses.
Lord
help us all!

My
eyes scanned the room like they always do looking for my princess. I found her
tucked in the corner chatting away with Emma. This was the first time Emma had
been back at the clubhouse since my homecoming party.  The time away had done
Emma good. She looked radiant tonight as she laughed with my princess. Amber
had declined the wedding invitation, but Dylan told me that she moved away not
wanting to be anywhere near the club. Emma was struggling with the decision to
stay or go. And if I looked around this room I was sure I could find the reason
behind her indecision.

No
doubt!
There was Gunner in the corner with his eyes on
Emma. I made my way over to him.

Can
I sit?

I asked pointing to the
chair next to Gunner.

Certainly,

Gunner answered as he
sat up straighter.

She

s
beautiful,

I
said. My eyes on the two women still engrossed in conversation.

She
is,

he agreed; his eyes
remained on Emma.

Are
you finally going to do something about it?

Gunner had to notice
how many times Emma looked his way tonight.

I
don

t
think so brother.

His shoulders slumped as he reached for
his glass. Three fingers of whiskey disappeared down his throat.

Why
not?

I was looking at him
again trying to figure out why he would let something he wanted for so long
walk away. I had a feeling if he did not do something tonight, he might lose
his chance for good.

I
have to leave in the morning. Baton Rouge is having trouble and they need me
back.

His eyes connected with
mine and I could see the indecision warring there.

Don

t
leave without her knowing what you want brother. Let her decide,

I advised. So engrossed
in our own conversation, I did not even know Dylan was beside me until her hand
was on my shoulder.

Hey.

Hi
Princess and baby princess,

I said as I leaned over and kissed
her belly.

Don

t
you mean prince?

she asked getting all feisty like she
always did when I called the baby a girl.

Well
if you would just let the doctor tell us we would know and I could address him
or her properly.

Those
tests are not always one hundred percent accurate,

Emma chimed in from
behind Dylan.

They told me I was having one boy
and out pops two. I was like damn.

Emma was always a cute
drunk.

Wanna
dance?

I think Gunner was as
shocked as I was when Emma asked him that question.

Always
cher
.

Gunner

s
cajun accent thicker whenever he drank. He stood and instead of taking the hand
Emma offered, he grabbed her around the waist, hauling her body against his.
Gunner looked right into her eyes and said,

Je
t

adore.

I think both women
swooned on the spot. Emma practically became limp in his arms as he nuzzled her
neck and led her to the dance floor.

I
watched them until Gunner glued himself to Emma before turning to Princess, who
glowed from the inside out, so happy with herself.

You
want that to happen?

I
want her to be happy,

she said.

And
he will do that for her?

I
think they have been holding back and fighting it for so long because of Tru.
This is their chance to see what happens.

Like
you and me?

Just
like you and me.

I
love you Princess.

I
love you too.

Love,
a four letter word.
