It was still hard for me to believe that they could both be mine. That such a thing could ever exist... never in my wildest dreams had I even dared to hope for such a world.

I noticed that Connor was looking victorious again, and I even caught just a shade of annoyance on Marcus' face. Had it not gone well then? Had my entire plan to get them to reconcile backfired?

"Well?" I said, putting down the broom and coming over to them.

"We have reached a decision," Connor said, glancing at Marcus, who just nodded his agreement.

"This pack will now have two alphas," Connor continued. "Marcus and I will share the responsibility, and you will be mate to both of us."

"So that's it?" I said, smiling, "it's done?" I could see why Marcus wasn't looking too happy. He probably hadn't wanted to give up his position of power, but that he had been willing to make that sacrifice for me meant a lot. He continued to surprise me.

"Not quite," Marcus said. "A triad only works when there is a mate to join the two alpha's together. And we must both be equals when it comes to our access to you. Which means we must consummate the triad by both of us taking you at once. By both of us being inside you at the same time. Is that something you're ready for?"

I bit my lip. What in the world had I gotten myself in to now?
