A Kink in Her Tails (6 page)

Eve laughed. “I have no idea. You’d better tell me…” She opened the door and rather shyly peeked out.

Adele smiled. “C’mon, Eve. Nothing new for me. I shot the spread for
Fetish Fun and Foreplay
, remember?”

Eve blushed as she stepped through the door.

“Hey, cool nipple beads. I like those,” said Adele, stepping back and surveying Eve critically. “The thong is really great. Just perfect. You do need these, however. Just to complete the picture.” She was holding out lace topped thigh high hosiery in one hand and a pair of black spiked high heeled shoes in another. “You don’t have to walk in ‘em, and I’ll guarantee you won’t have them on for long.” Eve felt the color spread down over her breasts. “Jeez Adele. I feel silly.”

“Nonsense. You look fabulous.” Adele helped her pull the hose up to her thighs and steadied her as she slipped into the shoes. “Now…the last touch,” and Adele whipped something out from her bag.

“Oh God. Handcuffs. Adele, you devil…” breathed Eve.

Adele grinned. “No point in doing all this and leaving off an important part. Here. Give me your wrists.

Better still, get up on the bed and let’s get you ready.”

Eve clambered awkwardly onto the top of her bed. Her heels were distracting, and she could feel her thong slipping around and over her soft folds as she spread her legs and sank down onto her knees.

“Good. Now,” Adele stepped back and viewed the scene critically. Eve could almost see her mind calculating exposures and lighting. “Move this here…” She tugged Eve’s legs moving them to either side of her body. “You comfortable like that?”

Eve wriggled a bit. “Sure. Not for an hour, mind you, but for a little while.”

“Good.” Adele fastened the cuffs around each of Eve’s wrists, and grabbed the delicate leash chain. She twisted the collar around so that the ring was in front and the buckle in back of Eve’s neck.

With a quick click she secured the chain to Eve’s wrists, binding her. Eve could move, but her hands were pretty much secured together.

A rush of excitement flooded her as she realized she really would be at Simon’s mercy. Maybe there was more to this bondage stuff than she’d realized.

“Cool. I think
that
should do it. Oh…I’m going to leave Matilda here,” and she draped Eve’s flogger across the pillows of the bed. Eve had named the toy “Matilda,” insisting that it was soft and furry and deserving of an identity. She chatted to it occasionally, stroked its fur as she passed it on a regular basis, and had merely sniffed when Adele asked dryly what she fed it and if it was house-trained.

“It’s now ten of seven. I’m out of here.”

“Adele?” Eve’s voice cracked slightly. “Thanks.”

Adele grinned at her and raised her hand to her forehead in a mock salute. “Anything for the cause, Eve.

Power to us women. You’ll have him drooling and slobbering within three minutes. No question about it.

Call me, okay?”

“Sure. And thanks…”

Adele gathered her bag and left the room, the sound of the front door closing as she left echoing around the now-still apartment.

Eve’s heart began thumping and she shifted, aware of her nipples as the beads swung from them, tugging them slightly.

It was very arousing, and the whole outfit was serving as a kind of fashion foreplay.

She thought about Simon, coming into her apartment and looking for her. Finding her, dressed like “ Fetish Female of the Week,” and waiting for him. Would he like it? Would he hate it? Worst of all, would he just collapse with laughter?

Could she survive if he did?

And overriding all these concerns was the worry that he might not understand what she was trying to tell him with her amateur theatrics. That she wanted him to know she trusted him enough to submit to him.

That she was allowing herself to be vulnerable before him, giving him something she’d never given anyone else.

Including, she suddenly realized, herself. She’d never allowed herself to be this free, this wild. She had insisted on so much control, in her life, her career, her relationships.

It was an amazingly heady feeling to hand over responsibility for the next few hours to someone else.

She wouldn’t have to worry about making sure he was happy because he’d be telling her exactly what he wanted. She hoped.

For once, she could let someone else call the shots. She could relax into the moment and let Simon direct her, touch her, move her, as he wished. All she had to do was enjoy it.

Her mind focused into a moment of rare clarity. Even if this relationship with Simon never went any further, Eve had learned something. Learned that to love someone was so much more than being compatible in bed or liking Indian food.

To love someone was to give them control of yourself, knowing that you’d get even more in return.

Eve breathed deeply, trying to come to terms with her epiphany.

She jumped at a sound and brought her whirling thoughts back to the bedroom.

Simon had arrived.

* * * * *

The sound of Eve’s door shutting firmly behind him echoed the thudding of Simon’s pulse as he shucked off his jacket and left it on the coat rack. He felt surprisingly hesitant as the air hit his bare chest.

He’d realized that his entire wardrobe for the evening was that one pair of leather pants, no shirt, no underwear, no shoes, nothing else had been left for him.

He’d showered in feverish haste, then dressed slowly, unaccustomed to the feeling of nothing coming between him and his trousers. The lining in the pants had slid coolly over his cock, caressing him and stiffening him.

Like he needed any help.

Given what he
wasn’t
wearing, he couldn’t begin to imagine what was waiting for him at Eve’s, and his erection was flexing its muscles in preparation for what was to come.

In fact, it could well be into bench-pressing by now.

Stepping into the darkness of Eve’s rooms he took a deep breath and inhaled that particular scent that screamed her name to his olfactory system. That wonderful blend of perfume, coffee, furniture polish and English muffins. That certain aroma that crept up his nostrils and down into his heart. The one that said “ my woman.” And meant it.

Simon was well aware of the date. It was six months, and he’d never forgotten her suggestion.

Tonight was the night, as far as he was concerned.

The night he put their relationship to the test and told her how he felt and what he wanted. Which was quite simple.

He loved her. He wanted to marry her.

And he should have gone to the bathroom before he left his apartment.

The magnitude of what he’d planned ran over him with the force of a large earth moving front-end loader, and he shuddered, pausing on Eve’s soft carpet as he realized how his life might well change from this night forward. The urge to disappear into the toilet and lock the door for about two weeks gradually faded as he let thoughts of Eve fill his mind and his heart.

She was in there, in her bedroom, waiting for him. God knows what she’d planned, but whatever it was, he was sure he’d like it.

Probably.

He hoped he wouldn’t fail her and shatter her expectations. She’d probably set up some very romantic scene for them both, especially as she made no secret of her love for romance novels, devouring the latest one with unfailing regularity.

If his hands would stop shaking he could probably do a better job of being a leather-clad bare-assed romance hero.

Should he sweep into the room and gather her in his arms? Should he sweep into the room and grab her up and over onto the bed, coming down on top of her with, what was the phrase she’d giggled over, “a
deliberate intent to adore her body?

He already adored her body, so that wouldn’t work.

Why hadn’t he thought to bring flowers? Dammit.

Simon pushed his hands through his hair and exhaled. This was not helping anything. He was working himself into a state, when all he had to do was go through the bedroom door and take his woman.

Because she was his woman. No matter what she’d planned, what awaited him, she was his woman. He’

d just have to convince her of that fact.

Straightening his shoulders, and unsnapping the rivet on his pants as a token gesture toward romance-hero ambience, he crossed the room to her bedroom door.

He pushed it open. “Eve?”

“Here, Simon.”

His breath stopped.

She was waiting for him. On her bed. But ohmiGod. She was…she was…she was…

Simon’s mental processes stuttered to a halt like a badly tuned Corvair.

His pistons froze, his sparkplugs died and his distributor cap hung there with its mouth wide open.

Eve was resting amidst a bunch of legs, no—wait, there were only two, so they must be hers, but they were wearing those lacy black sheer things that only made her thighs look whiter. Oh God, she had spiky heeled shoes on.

Along with a leather thong. God. A
leather
thong.

Moving upwards, slowly, Simon’s eyes found the cuffs and saw the chain that latched them to her collar.

A slight glitter rising and falling in time with her breath revealed the sparkling beads that ran from one nipple to the other.

Simon’s engine coughed back to life.

“Eve, my God…”

His pistons started to find their rhythm and his spark plugs settled down to a tidy firing sequence.

“Eve. You’re…you’re so beautiful.”

It was an understatement to end all understatements, but seeing as Simon’s engine was now threatening to rev itself out of his leathers, it was quite an accomplishment that he managed to voice anything at all.

Finally, he dragged his fascinated gaze to her face and forgot everything as he gazed into her eyes.

“Welcome home, Simon,” she breathed.

Her heart was shining from her eyes, along with a healthy dose of trepidation. She was as scared as he was.

For some reason this settled Simon’s nerves and he felt a smile begin to lick around his lips.

“This is quite something, love. Quite something…”

He moved to the bed and ran his finger down her cheek, hearing her exhale with pleasure.

“You like it?”

“Oh yeah…” His hand slipped down her shoulder and pulled on the chain leash, raising her hands toward him and exposing her breasts fully. The nipple jewelry gleamed and shimmered in the candlelight.

“Oh yeah,” he repeated, letting his finger nudge the beads and watching as her nipples tightened even more.

“Simon, I need to say something to you tonight. Something important.” Simon dragged his mind away from her breasts with an effort and attempted to concentrate on what she was saying.

He knew it was important, he just wished she’d remembered he was a male and thus easily distracted.

Especially by sparkly things hanging from the most fantastic set of nipples.

Sighing, he eased down on the bed next to her, stroking his hand down her calf and playing with her toes inside the shoe.

“May I take this off while we talk?” He slipped his fingers inside her shoe and gently ran them along the side of her foot.

His grin deepened as he saw her flesh color slightly and her nipples shiver.

“Um, yeah, sure,” she muttered.

“Okay.” Sensually, he slid the shoe from her foot, making sure his hand covered as much of the revealed flesh as possible. He tugged on her toes through the stocking.

She wriggled a little.

“You were saying?” he prompted, caressing his way back up her calf to her knee.

“Um…yeah. I was saying…ooohhh that feels good.”

He’d reached the back of her knee and allowed his fingers to play there, knowing that shortly he’d reach her bare thigh and looking forward to slowly peeling off the hose.

“Simon, hold it a moment. Let me say this before I lose all rational thought…” Simon paused, biting back a smile. “Go ahead, honey. Tell me.” Eve swallowed and straightened her spine.

“I love you. I know I’ve said it before, but tonight I need to show you just how much. I’ve been scared to death of what’s happening between us, and consequently I’ve held back. But now I know that’s stupid, and silly, and unnecessary. Tonight, I’m not holding back. Anything. Especially my trust in you.” Simon couldn’t breathe, he could only watch her as she spoke so seriously.

“Tonight I am your slave. I am giving you my love, my body, and most of all my trust. Whatever you tell me to do I will do. Whatever you tell me not to do I will not do. Whatever you choose to do to me I will accept gladly and willingly. Tonight, I exist only to please you, because I know that pleasing you will please me twice as much.”

She lowered her eyes and then gathered her courage to face him once more.

“Do you understand?”

Chapter 7

Eve wasn’t sure about the power of prayer, but this was one moment she wasn’t about to risk missing out on it.

She prayed.

Prayed that Simon would understand what she was trying to tell him, and prayed that he would respond in kind.

He was watching her, his hand resting possessively on her thigh, thinking over her words, perhaps, or formulating his response.

He was a careful man.
That
she knew. And he seldom let an unconsidered word pass his lips. So the silence in the room seemed heightened as she waited for his answer.

The candles flickered gently, and time itself could well have been standing still.

Her nipples were aching a little now, her knees were starting to pull, and she wanted nothing more than to touch her body to Simon’s. The urge to mate was dampening her thong, making her cunt throb with anticipation and sending a dryness to her throat.

She licked her lips and swallowed.

“You wish only to please me, tonight. Is that right?” His voice sounded rusty and hoarse.

“That’s correct.”

“Because you trust me.”

“Yes.”

“And you love me.”

“Oh yes.”

“And you’ll do anything I say?”

“Absolutely.”
Please God don’t let him ask for anything too gross
. Eve momentarily regretted some of the more offbeat Internet sites she’d visited.
