“Can I see it?” Jaron asked as they descended the stairs. What kind of person didn’t love a little bling every now and then?
Travis grinned. “You’ll see it when I ask you again in front of everyone.”
“So you’re asking me twice, why?”
“Because I want everyone to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Jaron McAllister.” Travis looked around the room, then focused on Jaron once again.
Jaron never thought he would be happy in Pickleville. The small town that seemed to be this black hole he had ran away from all those years ago, ended up saving him in ways he never thought possible. He had been looking for the best parts of life in all the wrong places. He looked over at Travis and then at Bobby, resting against Jackson. Yep, the best had been here all along, in the one place he had never really looked.
Born and raised in Southwest Michigan, April lives with her husband and two kids. She has been an avid reader for several years. Writing her first story at the age of ten, the characters in her head still won’t stop telling their stories.
