“Well, you can deny it all you want, girlfriend, but you’re up the duff. You have a bun in the oven,” April exclaimed with a chortle.

“Well, screw you. I am not having a baby. No fucking way am I going through that.”

“So how long have you been here now?” April asked, still smiling.

“Three months.”

“And how many times have you had your period?”

“None. Fuck, April. What am I going to do?” Olivia groaned.

“Well, that’s the dumbest question I’ve ever heard you ask. You’re going to have a baby, girlfriend. God, I’m so excited. I hope you have a girl so Jade has someone to play with.”

“Well, I hope it’s a boy and he ends up mated to Jade,” Olivia snapped back.

The two women looked at each other and burst out laughing. Of course, that laughter turned to tears of happiness. When they finally had themselves under control again, April just had to goad her one more time.

“Your mates are going to want to keep you locked up in your room. They’re not going to let you out of their sight once they know.”

“Fuck off. They are too busy doing the duties your arrogant, overbearing mates demand of them. They’re not gonna have any extra time with me.”

“That’s what you think,” April replied with a smile. Olivia saw April looking over the top of her body as she stood bent over.

“Baby, is it true? Are you pregnant?” Tony asked from behind her.

Olivia straightened and gave April a glare, letting her know payback was a bitch. She could have warned her one of her mates was nearby.

“Uh, I’m not really sure. There is no way for me to know without taking a test,” Olivia replied.

“Come here, baby,” Tony demanded.

Olivia sauntered over to Tony full of bravado. She cocked her right hip, placed her hands on her waist and glared up at him. “What?”

Tony scooped Olivia up into his arms and pulled her in tight against his chest. Olivia heard him breathe in deeply and felt his nose nuzzle against her skin. “Oh, you’re pregnant all right, mate. How we didn’t notice the subtle change to your scent, I’ll never know. But you’re definitely having a cub.”

Olivia closed her eyes and breathed deeply, trying to circumvent her nausea as Tony spun her around with exuberant joy. She threw up all over him. April’s laughter echoed after them as Tony carted her away to their rooms. She couldn’t wait to get cleaned up and have her mates love her for the rest of the night.

Olivia knew she was going to have her work cut out for her over the next two months or so. Her mates were going to try and treat her like fragile glass. She would take advantage of that when she wanted to, like now when she was feeling tired and queasy, but she wouldn’t let them take complete control of her. She was going to have to keep them on their toes for as long as she could. She had worked out how to get around them very quickly, but she knew they allowed her to get her own way. They indulged her often, as she did them.

She was so happy about being pregnant. She couldn’t wait to hold her child in her arms. The thought that she had created a baby, which was now growing in her womb, amazed her. She had first thought that her mates might become jealous of whoever the biological father was, but she knew that just wasn’t true. She knew that thought had been her old insecurities rearing their ugly heads.

Cedric, Hugh, and Tony had been over the moon when they had learned she was with child. They were just as excited as she was about having a baby to nurture and care for. What more could a girl ask for?

Life couldn’t get any better.
