All of their things were moved out of Star's over the next couple of days and fortunately Detective Westfall brought back the note Jayne had left for Blue before they had moved, Colin told her the house was being renovated and that all the residents were moving to another address, he gave her the address. The letter Jayne left read;

“
Dearest Blue,

I'm going to hide this letter amongst your things, you'll find it when the time is right. I don't know if you'll understand why I did what I did. I guess out of everyone I wanted you to know why. After all you're the glue that keeps us all together.

When I met Teresa I thought I'd met my soul mate, she made me feel amazing. The few weeks we had together were bliss. Blue you know, like how you feel about Pierre, even when you thought he'd bit you. I know he didn't.

I felt sick to my stomach when I found her looking through Cleo's stuff, looking for where she had gone.

My whole world came crashing down. Then she tortured me for eight hours or more, I kept passing out, she did horrendous things to me Blue, it felt like forever, I don't think I'll ever get that experience out of my mind. I don't know if I'd have even forgiven her. Cleo decided that for me anyway. Took away my chance of answered questions. I don't blame her, I guess she saw the state I was in and went crazy.

I loved Teresa so much and yet I love you all more than that. And you wonder, why has she done what she has done?

All said and done, I couldn't and cannot find peace in myself. I am a wretched melancholy fool. I have contemplated my life the way only a true philosopher can and come to the conclusion.

I need peace.

I love you all.

X Jayne.”

Blue felt that it answered a lot of the questions she had, she told the girls about the letter. She told them that the Police had a note that Jayne had written, a letter and if they wanted to read it they could. They all read it over the next week. The funeral and wake were bad enough, but at least this letter gave them all closure.

Blue put her apartment up for sale, Pierre, Blue, Eliza, Brett and Colin decided to put their money together into some kind of co-operative. Blue wasn't so sure as to the specifics but they were comfortable. They all moved into Daen's old place, well at least most of them. Cleo and Valentino went back to Italy to be with her boys like she said she would. Eliza and Brett live in the mansion with Pierre and Blue, Colin lives there too, he had upped the security at Daen's. Colin installed the security system at Star's and keeps an eye on her, from the comfort of Daen's very own dining room. Eliza and Brett went back out to Egypt to catalogue the entire Temple and to make sure that it would be kept a secret. They were all just supposed to be getting on with their lives.

Eliza keeps telling Blue about the prophecies and how they're all supposed to be a great help to mankind. Blue guesses she's right if they can keep Star from raising an army of the undead.

In an expensive hotel in London an old lady wandered over to a celebrity that was lavished with beautiful food and sycophantic help.

'Hello Star.' Said the old lady.

'Oh hi there,' Star said with a flick of her hair, 'Have you got something you would like me to autograph?'

'No my dear, I haven't. I'm Daen's Oracle, I think we have some things we need to discuss.'

Star's eyes went wide, a Cheshire cat's grin spread evilly across her face.

'Yes, I think we do.'

Thank you for buying my E-book. I hope you've enjoyed my story.

Since January when I first published this, I've re-written the entire book. So hopefully it's all now from one perspective. I'm from the UK, I write in English, I don't know if the Amazon guys will decode it all into American English, which to me is millions of spelling mistakes :) I wouldn't even know where to start, it annoys me when I get texts from friends with shortened words.

I'm writing the next book in the Alternative Women Series, it's based on Frankie Westfall, it builds up leading to the appearance in Vampyre Blue and then goes on from that. I'm not going to spoil it for you!!!
