I rolled away from Lark to see it was five in the morning. I swore I heard a car, but the harder I listened to it the harder it was to make it out. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. Dreaming of nothing but green eyes piercing mine as Lark whispered how much he loved me.

I glanced over to see Azurdee looking at her cell phone again. “You’re not going to get a signal way out here. Just wait until we get to South Padre.”

She let out a sigh and tossed her phone down into her purse. “Are you not worried? I mean, she just disappeared in the middle of the night, Lark. She left and she doesn’t have a car. I mean, your parents’ house is in the middle of nowhere.”

I reached over for her hand and pulled it to my lips. “She’s a smart girl. I’m sure she is not going to do something stupid.”

She dropped her head back and said, “The only good thing about this is the fact that Tristan is freaking out.”

I laughed and said, “That’s mean.”

“He deserves it. Leaving her like that and going off and doing God knows what.”

I nodded my head. “Well, my father laid into him pretty good so I’m sure he won’t be doing that again.”

Azurdee’s phone pinged and she quickly reached for it.

“It’s Ryn!” she yelled out.

“I told you she would get in touch with you,” I said as I pulled into a gas station. We were only a few hours away from my parents’ beach house, and I couldn’t wait to get there and fuck the living shit out of Azurdee in each room and on every surface. I couldn’t stop thinking about it ever since she brought up us on the bike.

“She called the cowboy! Oh. My. God. What in the hell was she thinking? He’s taking her to Austin. She’s driving to Austin with a complete stranger. What if he kills her?”

“He’s not going to kill her,” I said. “Wow, I’m shocked this guy is driving her all the way home. Ryn must be one hell of a dancer.”

Azurdee hit me on the shoulder and said, “No, she asked him to drive her to a town where she could get a rental car and he offered to drive her. Oh gosh Lark, that’s not very safe for her.”

Azurdee typed something quickly and began biting on her thumbnail. When her phone pinged a few minutes later, she looked at her phone and said, “She sent me a picture of the guy’s license. He lives in Austin and was visiting family, so he had to head back to Austin anyway. Okay, I feel better now.”

I shrugged my shoulders and laughed. “Will you call and let my parents know you heard from her and that she is okay?”

She was typing away and nodded her head. “She doesn’t want to worry them, so she told me I could tell them.”

Azurdee called my parents and filled them in on what was happening. “Yes. I’ll be sure to let her know. Yes, of course, Joyce. Thank you so much for everything.”

When she hung up I looked at her and asked the one question I didn’t really want to know the answer to. “How’s Tristan?”

Azurdee looked at me and said, “Your mom said he had been in the barn most of the day, but I guess he was sitting there when I called. She told him Ryn got a ride home from someone she met last night. I heard him curse and your mother said he was mostly likely going to be heading home now.”

I shook my head and said, “He’s probably going to head straight to Ryn’s.”

Azurdee nodded her head and said, “I feel bad for both of them.”

An hour later I pulled up to my parent’s beach house gate and punched in the gate code. As the gates opened, I glanced over and looked at Azurdee. Her eyes were looking everywhere and I couldn’t help but feel nervous.
What would she think about the bottle? The letters?

I gripped the steering wheel harder and focused my thoughts on making love to her soon and tried not to worry about the rest.

We walked into the house and she immediately walked to the wall of glass and let out a gasp. “Oh my. Look at the beach. It’s beautiful. Jessie told me it was breathtaking, but man oh man.”

I smiled and set our luggage down. All I wanted to do was be buried so deep inside that I would forget everything else for just a bit. I didn’t have the heart to tell her I had to leave as soon as we got back home. It took everything I had to talk Skip into not making me leave before Christmas.

I quickly began unzipping my pants as I walked toward her. She started to walk into the kitchen when I grabbed her and turned her around. She let out a gasp as I pulled up her skirt and in one quick move ripped her panties off.

“I need to fuck you…now,” I said as I lifted her up and pushed her against the wall. When I reached down and pushed my fingers inside of her, I let out a moan as she dropped her head back against the wall.

“Do you want me, Azurdee?”

“More than you know,” she whispered as she placed her hands on my shoulders. I lifted her up and slowly filled her body with my hard dick.

She made the sweetest sounds as I gave her everything I could. I couldn’t get deep enough.

“I want to hear you scream out when you come,” I said between breaths.

“Now, Azurdee. I need you to come now!”

I gritted my teeth to keep from coming as I moved in and out of her. The moment she called out my name I exploded inside of her.

I stood holding her against the wall as we both sucked in breaths of air.

“Wow. That was…unexpected,” Azurdee said with a giggle. I loved how innocent she was, yet full of passion at the same time. I pulled back and looked into her eyes.

“I love you,” I whispered. Her eyes lit up and the smile that spread across her face made my knees weak.

I slowly began to set her down as she placed her hand on the side of my face. “I love you too.”

I closed my eyes and asked, “Why?”

“Look at me, Michael.” Her saying my name caused my eyes to snap open. The moment she said my name I felt her love. I looked into her beautiful eyes and knew in this very moment that there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her. I’d walk to the ends of the earth for her.

“I love you because when I’m with you I feel whole and I’m filled with so much happiness I just want to stand on the tallest mountain and scream how happy I am. Your touch does things to my body that I can’t even begin to put into words. I’m lost when we’re not together and that scares me and excites me. I don’t know any other way to explain it. My heart will always belong to you…forever.”

I placed my hands on both sides of her face and gently kissed her lips. “I’ve never met anyone who made me feel the way you do, Azurdee. I can’t seem to get enough of you.”

She smiled and said, “I feel the same, Lark. My body craves your body. Now take me to the beach and make love to me in the ocean.”

I laughed and nodded my head. “Your wish is my command.”

She laughed. “Finally…I’m in charge, huh?”

I smacked her ass and said, “Go get your swimsuit on.”

She started to walk off before stopping and turning back to me. “I didn’t bring one, Lark. I didn’t know we were coming to the beach.”

Shit. I totally wasn’t even thinking.

The idea of skinny-dipping in the ocean with her caused my dick to come to full attention again. I shrugged my shoulders and said, “Go naked then. I’ll meet you down there in ten minutes.” I quickly walked to the sliding glass door and opened it and walked outside.

“What? It’s daylight out! Lark? Lark!” She called out as I walked over to the pool house shed, grabbed a few beach towels and began jogging down to the water with a smile plastered on my face.

I sat on the beach and leaned my head back as the warm sun hit my face. My phone buzzed and I sighed as I pulled it out.

Skip: Please tell me you are coming back tomorrow.

Me: I’m in South Padre.

Skip: ?? I thought you were with your family at the ranch.

Me: Change of plans.

Skip: Azurdee with you?

Me: Yes.

Skip: I have a really bad feeling about this, Lark. You better keep your head straight is all I’m saying. We’re planning on heading out in the next few days.

Me: I’m on leave…remember?

Skip: We got a tip on Carlito Vazquez.

Fuck.
He was probably the most sought after drug and arms dealer in the world. He’d been selling arms to the Middle East and we’d been searching for him for the last two years.

Me: Intel confirm it?

Skip: Would I be asking your ass to come back early if they hadn’t?

Me: Fuck. I’ll leave first thing in the morning.

Skip: That is the Lark I know and…well…love is such a strong word. Remember that the next time you want to whisper it in a certain girl’s ear.

Me: Fuck you. I’m turning off my phone and will turn it back on tomorrow when we head back.

Skip: Plan on at least a week.

I dropped my head and shook it. I didn’t want to leave her again.

I turned off my phone and pushed it into my back pocket. I looked out over the water and for the first time in the last four years, something other than the Marine Corps filled my heart. I was ready to walk away from the only thing I’d known and loved and spend the rest of my life with her.

I felt her behind me even before she said a word.

I turned and looked up at my angel. I laughed when I saw she had on one of my T-shirts, but my heart began pumping faster. Something about her in my shirt did crazy shit to me.

“God, please tell me you are naked underneath my shirt.”

She bit down on her lower lip and nodded her head and dropped to her knees. “You don’t mind, do you?”

I looked over her shoulder to check down the beach. I hadn’t seen anyone walking by since I’d been sitting here. She must have known what I was doing, because she looked over my shoulder.

She licked her lips as she looked down at my lips. She slowly shook her head and said, “You do things to me that drive my body crazy. Do you know that?”

I slowly smiled as I reached my hand up the shirt and she let out a gasp when I touched her stomach. “Do I now?”

She nodded her head and the innocent look on her face had me falling in love with her more…if that was even possible.

“I could say the same thing. You’ve completely changed my life, Azurdee. You’ve made me re-think everything.”

Her eyes widened in surprise and her mouth dropped open slightly before she smiled and leaned down to kiss me. I grabbed her and pulled her down and laid her on the sand as she let out a small cry.

“I can’t believe how much I love you,” I said as her eyes darkened. “We’ve come pretty far since that day I stood on Scott and Jessie’s porch and saw the most beautiful creature ever.”

“Lark,” she whispered.

“Please don’t ever leave me.”

Her eyes filled with tears as she said, “Never.”

I smiled as I slowly moved my eyes over her face, taking in every single detail. “I’m going to make love to you now, Azurdee.”

She sucked in a breath of air as I stood up and quickly stripped out of my clothes. She sat up and looked up and down the beach. When she looked back at me she let out a moan and quickly stood up. I grabbed her and threw her over my shoulder as she screamed out and I took off for the water. The moment I ran in I knew I was making a mistake.

Shit! Shit!

I dropped her down into the water and she went completely under and jumped up screaming.

“Oh my God! It’s freezing!”

I laughed as she began jumping up and down yelling out how cold the water was. The moment I saw her hard nipples through my T-shirt I forgot about how cold the water was and I grabbed her.

“God, Azurdee…your body is amazing.”

She wrapped her legs around me and said, “Amazingly cold.”

I lifted her and slowly pushed into her. The friction of the water and how cold it was made it feel ten times better.

“Why does it keep getting better?” she asked, as she held onto me tighter.

“I promise you baby, it will always be like this.”

As I moved in and out of her, she buried her face into my neck and I could almost feel her squeezing down on me.

“Say my name, baby…please say my name,” I said.

“Michael…oh God. I’m going to come,” she whispered as she pulled back and slammed her lips to mine. It didn’t take long before I was coming as well. I held onto her tightly and prayed we could just stay like this forever.

“You’re leaving again, aren’t you?” she said as she kept her face buried into my neck.

I swallowed hard and said, “Yes.”

“Michael?”

Azurdee pulled back and looked at me with a shocked look on her face. She mouthed
who is that?

I slowly sank further into the water to cover up her body. You could totally see right through the T-shirt she had on. Azurdee pushed away from me as I turned around and saw Lindsay.

“Lindsay?”

Lindsay smiled and nodded her head.
Fuck me.
Her family had owned the beach house next to ours since I could remember. The last time I was here we had hooked up and fucked in her hot tub…twice.

Lindsay put her finger in her mouth and said, “Wow. It’s so good to see you here. You brought company this time? She up for a little bit of fun?”
