Twin Deception: A BWWM Billionaire Romance (5 page)

Sadi felt her body start to burn. Luke had never looked at her that way before the bombing. Never once. Yet his gaze had held the same fire, the same burning intensity, ever since that night they had made love after the rose petal bath.

Luke surprised Sadi by stripping off his sweater and laying it on the bed. His shirt followed. Sadi felt her breath catch as she stared at Luke’s naked chest. His skin had always held a natural golden hue, his muscles well-toned, though he had been working out less and was not so strict about his diet.   Then Luke undid the button on his jeans, slid them over his hips and stepped from them. He slid his boxers down and stood gloriously naked in front of Sadi. She felt her eyes widen. Luke had never been so bold before. She found that she liked this side of him.

“Sadi?”

“Yes?” Her voice came out in a heady rush. She sounded like a sixteen year old girl.

“I have just one question.”

“What’s that?”

“Why are your clothes still on?”

Sadi laughed. "I don't know Luke. Maybe because you haven't removed them from me yet.”
Luke's eyes lit up. He always was up for a challenge. He crossed the short distance between them in three quick strides of his long, athletic legs. Sadi squealed with delight when Luke captured her in his arms.

She reached up, twining her arms around his neck, and kissed him soundly. Luke groaned, deepening the kiss instinctively. His lips were bruising in their intensity, stoking a fire deep within Sadi. She felt desire coiling in the pit of her stomach.

Luke ran his hands over Sadi’s breasts, down over her curves. They stopped at her hips. He reached under her sweater and pulled it over her head. Her camisole followed. Sadi gasped when Luke’s finger found the edge of her lacy red bra, rubbing across the nipple below. She felt it pucker and harden under his touch, felt the lightening quick tingles of desire that shot through her under his sure touch.

Luke bent his head and trailed kisses down Sadi’s neck, across her shoulders, over her collarbone, and down her chest. He stopped in front of her bra, his hands deftly undoing the clasp from the back. The lacy red garment fell away, leaving Sadi exposed to Luke’s mouth. He captured her breast in his hand, his mouth taking in the nipple his fingers had plied only a moment before.

“Luke,” Sadi whispered. She ran her hands through his sandy hair, arching into the sweet caresses of his tongue. His mouth was warm and wet. The heady sensation made Sadi’s mind whirl. When he finally pulled away, Sadi felt her nipple harden painfully against the cool air of the room.  Luke’s hands found the soft skin of Sadi’s stomach.

He ran his finger along, down and over her hip bones. He undid the button of her jeans. His strong hands pushed them over and down her hips, down her thighs. She stepped from them and watched Luke’s eyes widen in appreciation when he saw the red lace panties. She had bought them and her bra while they were in France.

“Beautiful,” he whispered, slipping a finger under the lace edge. Sadi gasped. Luke lowered his face, his lips searching for hers. She met his mouth with a crushing intensity, curling around his hand which was massaging her with an aching gentleness.

Luke guided Sadi over to the bed and laid her down gently. She thought he would strip her underwear away and give her what she desired, but instead he toyed with her, a grin spreading across his face.

“Patience, love,” Luke whispered. “I want to taste you, touch all of you first.”

Sadi groaned, the heat building between her legs almost more than she could stand.

True to his word, Luke moved over her, trailing hot kisses down her arms and legs. He tasted her nipples again, taking them into his mouth and suckling until she cried out with pleasure. He moved over her belly, down to her thighs. Luke kissed Sadi through the red lace of her panties, his breath hot against her core. God, she wanted nothing more than to feel his tongue there, feel him exploring her and opening her to him.

Luke looked up, mirth shining in his eyes. He knew exactly what she was thinking and he wasn’t going to let her off that easy. Sadi saw that he intended to tease her further, to drive her to madness.

She groaned and pushed him off of her, forced him onto his back so that she was the one in control. Luke flashed a smile and went willingly. Sadi knew that her strength was no match for Luke’s much larger stature.

She leaned over him, saw the desire flash in the depth of his eyes. “Two can play at your game,” she whispered before she took Luke in her hand. He was more than ready for her. Sadi ran her hand back and forth, teasing and stroking the length of him until he groaned. She felt a thrill rush through her at the sound escaping from his lips.

Sadi bent her head and took Luke into her mouth. She teased him the same way she had with her hand, running her mouth up and down his shaft, using her tongue to circle the tip of him. Luke finally moaned and moved Sadi’s head away. He brought her mouth up to his and tasted his own salty tang on her lips.

Sadi ran her hands down Luke’s chest, over the ridges of muscle, until they came to rest at his hips. She shifted her hips up, moved her lacy underwear aside and straddled Luke, burying him inside of her up to the hilt. She sighed with pleasure as Luke gasped. Sadi could feel desire quake through her thighs, lightning fast and red hot. She felt the tremble in Luke below her as he strained to hold onto control.

Sadi could tell, even as she started to move, that Luke was ready, that he was waiting for her. She could feel the heat building between her thighs, the white hot waves of pleasure that rolled up from her core, through her belly, to her breasts- the same white pleasure that stole through her legs- making her toes tingle.

Sadi kept her eyes closed, concentrating on how good it felt to have Luke inside of her. She could feel every inch of him. She rode Luke slowly, torturing him the way he had tortured her. The moans and gasps that tore from his lips sent Sadi’s head spinning. She deepened her rhythm, increasing in intensity as the fire built inside her. She could feel herself rocking towards the precipice, towards the brink. Sadi felt the heat build and gather, a tight ball of need inside her core. She felt the pleasure radiate through her body until it exploded in a blinding array that shattered her.

Sadi threw her head back and cried out Luke’s name, gripping him tightly against her, digging her nails into the tender flesh of his back. Luke responded instantly. He grabbed her hips, rocking her firmly, thrusting against her, building his own rhythm until he buried his head in Sadi’s neck and groaned, low and feral. Sadi held Luke while he shook, felt the throbbing of him deep inside her, felt her own muscles tremble in response.

Sadi stayed tucked against Luke for the longest time. She didn’t dare move, hardly dared breathe. The moment was so perfect she didn’t want to break it. Finally the chill air in the room caused her to move aside, pulling the blankets over her and Luke.

Though it was the middle of the afternoon, she felt Luke’s arms come around her, strong and protective. She glanced up and could tell that he was already falling asleep. So much for the tour they had planned this afternoon. Sadi smiled. She couldn’t say that she minded at all. She had wanted to visit Scotland since she was a little girl. To see its mystic castles looming out of shrouded mists. To take in the gently rolling hills, touch the lore steeped soil. She had always wanted to walk the moors and glens where battles had been fought and history had been made.

Looking over at Luke, sleeping peacefully, changed her mind. She was in no hurry to leave this room, this bed. Right here, curled against Luke’s side, now his
wife
, warm and safe, was where she wanted to be. In that moment, there was nothing wrong in the world. It was as if everything was frozen around them. Time and distance, all the wretched events that they had slogged through the last six months- it all seemed far away, as if it didn’t exist. It was just her and Luke.

Just two people who loved each other. Sadi knew then that it wold always be enough. That Luke would always be enough for her. Whether they had money and a nice house or whether they were broke, Sadi knew she would love him. Scotland could wait. Sadi had all the sights and sounds and feel of magic she needed when she looked at Luke.

Chapter 5

Scotland was everything Sadi had thought it would be. When she and Luke finally left their room, they were able to take in and experience everything Sadi had always dreamed of.

They had visited historic castles and battle scenes, and had seen the memorials and statues which stood as a salute to fallen Scottish heroes who fought so hard to gain the country’s independence. They had sampled some of the finest beer Sadi thought she had ever tasted, and listened to the beautiful sound of bagpipes. The whole honeymoon had been everything Sadi ever dreamed it would be.

Every little girl dreams of her wedding and honeymoon. Deep down, Sadi had been no different. Her wedding hadn’t been what she had imagined she would have, but it had been the best wedding she could have asked for.

The honeymoon was absolutely the trip of her dreams. Europe had given Sadi and Luke so much. They had taken in some of the most incredible sights and sounds, learned some of the neatest history, tried amazing food and wine, stayed in some gorgeous out of the way places that Luke had found, but most of all, it had given Sadi all of Luke.

For those three weeks it was just her and Luke. It was almost as if nothing back home existed. When they retreated to their room, when Sadi looked into Luke’s eyes, it was as if they were the only people in the world. The way Luke looked at Sadi, like he was never going to get enough of her, even after a million lifetimes together, it awed Sadi.

“Sadi,” Luke whispered, his arm tightening around her in their bed.

Sadi glanced up, half asleep. She could see the light of the dying fire reflected on Luke’s handsome features. “Yes,” she whispered. They had spent a full day sightseeing and Sadi was exhausted. She had barely had enough in her to make love with Luke before collapsing, exhausted into bed.

“I’m having a really great time.”

“Me too.” Sadi opened her eyes and smiled. Luke looked completely adorable with his hair mussed from earlier.

“I was thinking maybe we should extend our honeymoon somewhere warm as well, like we had originally planned? I was doing some looking on my phone and I think the Bahamas would be really nice.”

Sadi was wide awake now. She sat up, gathering the quilt around her chest. “Wow. Yes! I would love to go there.” Sadi hesitated. “Are you sure you can take the time off work though?”
Luke shrugged. “Not really but let’s just call it payback for all those years I never took a day of vacation.”

Sadi swallowed hard. Seeing the earnestness in Luke’s eyes set her heart racing. He really did love her. She had always assumed he had because he said he did, but after the bombing there had been no doubting his devotion to her. He had made all the changes he had said he wanted to make and more.

However, Sadi still sensed Luke’s quiet, private grief. She knew what a gaping chasm losing Connor had left in Luke’s heart. Though he had done his best to shield Sadi from his pain, she knew it was there.

Even in his happiest moments during their honeymoon, in an unguarded moment, Sadi could see a shadow pass across his eyes but then it was gone and he returned to her once more. Maybe the extra time away would be good for Luke. Sadi worried about the business, the added stresses and pressure Luke was under, but he seemed to be coping well. Though the company was struggling through what had happened, Luke had been more relaxed about work than ever before.

“Let’s go to the Bahamas then,” Sadi, said, leaning in and kissing Luke.

He moaned, deep in his throat. Both of his hands came to rest on the side of Sadi’s face. He kissed her, a kiss full of the promise of all that they had yet to experience.

Sadi rifled through her suitcase and let out an exasperated sigh. She didn’t know how she could have been so silly. She had brought just enough birth control to last for their honeymoon in Europe. Now that they had extended their stay in the Bahamas for another three weeks, she was completely out of medication.

She sighed again. She was glad Luke had gone ahead of her to the beach. She had realized she was out of her pills that morning and had momentarily panicked. She had made up some excuse about wanting to shower before joining Luke on the beach. It made no sense if they were planning to swim, but he hadn’t seemed to mind. She had taken the extra time to search through her suitcase. She honestly couldn’t remember putting extra pills in but maybe on the off chance….

A thorough investigation had turned up nothing. Sadi sat on the edge of the bed, wondering if she should tell Luke. They could always try and find a doctor here, or they could abstain. She smiled at that thought.

Luke desired her like every day was going to be their last. There was no way he was going to keep his hands off her, especially for another two and a half weeks until they returned home.

Sadi frowned. She didn’t want to waste time having to go to a doctor or a hospital here. The idea frightened her a little. She didn’t like going to her own doctor, let alone in some country she wasn’t even from. She could just imagine the hassle. They likely wouldn’t just give her a prescription without an exam would they? And there was no way that was going to happen.

Sadi didn’t want to waste a full day dealing with trying to get her stupid pills on the off chance the pharmacy here carried the same brand. She figured it would be a day or two of wasted time. She didn’t want to put Luke through the hassle. It would probably be alright. She had read somewhere that the pills took weeks, if not months, to wear off and she had been taking them for over two years.

Sadi showered for appearances, put on her bikini, tied a bright blue sarong around her waist and donned her flip flops. The weather was gorgeous, the white sand beaches and lush sparkling water better than she ever could have dreamed possible.

She made her way around the resort, under huge waving palms and past pools and poolside bars. There was upbeat music and activities going on all around her. She should have found it overwhelming after the peace of Scotland, but she didn’t. She found she really liked it.

Luke smiled when Sadi approached. He was sitting in a white plastic lawn chair, burying his feet in the hot white sand and uncovering them, letting the fine grains trail through his toes.

“Would you like to put lotion on my back for me?” Sadi asked, producing the tube of sunscreen.

Luke shot her a catlike grin. “Of course,” he whispered, his voice husky.

Sadi almost blushed. They had been in their room only an hour ago, yet Luke looked at her as though he had never touched her before.

She spread her towel over the chair beside Luke’s and laid down on her stomach, leaving her back open to Luke’s gentle caresses. She had to admit that the feel of his hands spreading lotion all over here was more than a little hot. It was downright erotic. She made a mental note to purchase some massage oil or something.

“Are you up for a swim?” Luke asked, setting aside the sunscreen.

Sadi sat up reluctantly. “Sure. But if those weird fish come around again I’m getting out.”

Luke laughed. He thought it was hilarious that Sadi thought the little blue and yellow ocean fish were creepy. She didn’t mind that they were in the water, but when they came up to her and nibbled at her skin it freaked her out.

“Okay. I’ll do my best to keep them away from you.”

Luke took Sadi’s hand and led her to the ocean. They waded in together, then he took her in his arms. Sadi straddled Luke’s hips. She tried not to be aware of the people around them. It was an adults only resort but still…. Luke surprised her. He had never been overly publically affectionate before but he sure as hell didn’t care now. Maybe it was the European influence coming over him.

Luke ended Sadi’s trail of thought when he brought his mouth down to hers. His lips tasted of the salty tang of the ocean and were chapped from the sun. Sadi thought they tasted like heaven. She opened her mouth and let Luke’s tongue sweep in. He stroked hers with slow, deliberate strokes. Sadi could feel the heat fill her belly and spread lower.

“Maybe we should save the swim for another time and go back to our room,” she whispered.

              “I was thinking the same.”

The room was cool, the tile cold on Sadi’s feet after the scorching hot sand and sun. She shivered slightly but then Luke’s arms came around her. He picked her up and brought her over to the bed. Throwing the blankets aside, he set her down, his hands already working on undoing her bikini. Her bottoms fell away and Luke’s hands trailed down Sadi’s thighs. He pushed them apart, opening her to him, then took her feet and placed them on the edge of the mattress.

“God Sadi, I need to taste you,” Luke whispered. He trailed hot kisses up her thighs, stopping at her core. Sadi gasped when his tongue snaked out, tasting and teasing her folds. Sadi moaned and lay back, her hands instinctively tangling in Luke’s hair. She could feel the thickness the ocean salt added to his normally fine hair.

Luke found Sadi’s nub and he circled it with his tongue sending hot shivers of pleasure racing up Sadi’s legs and into her belly.

“God, Luke,” she moaned, bringing his face closer. He responded by moving lower, tasting her until he slipped his tongue inside. Sadi cried out. Her whole body was on fire. Luke’s mouth was magical, bringing her to the verge of shattering.

“You’re so fucking hot, Sadi,” Luke said huskily. He slipped a finger inside and bent to circle her bud with his tongue again. The action nearly sent Sadi over the edge but she managed to shift away, taking Luke’s face between her hands.

“I want you Luke. I want to come with you. God, I need you inside me.”

Luke growled low in his throat. He fumbled with his trunks then he positioned himself over Sadi. He groaned as he slid in slowly, the length of him making her gasp with pleasure. She shifted her hips, taking him in to the hilt. Her moist heat surrounded him, milking him.

“Sadi, god you feel so good.” It was all Luke could manage to say. Sadi understood. The feel of him, his hard body on top of her soft curves, pumping, filling her with a growing heat, a building ache that shattered into a blinding white light of pleasure was wordless.

The pleasure crept up, stealing Sadi’s breath. She could only grab onto Luke and hold his shoulders while he moved in hard, heavy strokes. Finally he cried out his own release, collapsing against Sadi.

Luke rolled to the side. He reached out and gathered Sadi against his chest, holding her tightly.

“Do you think we should resume our swim?”

Sadi shook her head, drinking in the smell of ocean salt mingled with their sweat and the scent of their passion. “Not a chance,” she whispered. “I just want to lay here with you.”

A deep laugh rose from Luke’s chest. “I agree. I could stay here with you forever.”

Forever. Sadi never would have believed it possible for them, yet here they were, happy and in love. She owed everything she had now to one of the most horrific events of Luke’s life. The only thing Sadi would change was Connor. She knew Luke had not given up hope his brother was still alive. She only wished that against the odds, that somewhere out there, Connor was alive and well and that he would find his way back to them.

Sadi went to see her doctor a couple weeks after returning home. She feared she had picked up a stomach parasite in the Bahamas, as her stomach had been all over the map. She had been constantly nauseous and worse. Luke had gone back to work and had been away for most of the day so she was able to hide it from him. However, he had caught her being sick to her stomach that morning and had insisted she go in and see her GP. Sadi hated having to run to the bathroom all day so she reluctantly agreed.

She sat in the waiting room, half fearing that she was going to get called in and they were going to have to run all sorts of tests on her and then declare she had some horrible disease. She didn’t know what it was about doctors and hospitals that made her so uncomfortable, and that made her constantly fear the worst.

Her GP was a middle-aged woman who was more the motherly type than the stern doctor type. Sadi had been waiting for half an hour past her appointment time before the woman finally made an appearance, but her smile was so warm Sadi found she couldn’t be angry.

“What’s the trouble Sadi,” Doctor Wendy asked, slipping a plastic glove onto one hand, then the other.

“We were away travelling for over a month and I’ve been sick since we got back. I think I may have picked up a parasite or something in the Bahamas.”

The doctor nodded. She performed the usual exam.

“When was your last period?” Doctor Wendy asked, while checking Sadi’s blood pressure.

Sadi gulped. When indeed? “I don’t remember,” she admitted. “I take birth control and I don’t go on breaks from it. I thought you knew that.”
