Eric Manheimer is a clinical professor of medicine at the New York University School of Medicine. He was the medical director at Bellevue Hospital for fourteen years and previously was on the faculty at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He trained as an internist at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, after receiving his medical degree at Downstate Medical School. He lives in New York City and Tepoztlán, Mexico, with his wife, Diana Taylor.
