She glanced up, her brows creased.

She was inexperienced. He hadn’t been around for the first so-called boyfriend, but he’d met the last two. One had been there and gone so quickly he couldn’t even remember the man’s name or what he’d looked like.

And the last guy was a certified tool, a record executive more interested in landing big names than having sex with Dani. Worst part was the guy wouldn’t know true talent if it bit him on the ass…or slept in his bed, which Dani had. For nearly six months. Then he and Aiden convinced her she could do much better.

Though Bryson had to admit this wasn’t exactly what he’d been thinking by better.

Dani continued to move, sucking him in. Spots clouded his vision when she did indeed swallow the head.

“Jesus,” he whispered.

“Let’s up the ante,” Aiden said, reaching down to grasp her hips. “Keep Bryson in your mouth.”

He shifted back a couple of steps as Dani straightened her legs and stood, her head still low, Bryson’s cock buried between her lips.

Aiden situated himself behind her, Dani’s ass perfectly in position to be fucked.

Last night, they’d taken turns, though both had definitely contributed to her orgasms.

Taking her together…

Bryson’s cock thickened at the thought. Dani must have noticed, because she moaned around his flesh.

Aiden rubbed his dick along her slit several times before pausing. “Shit. Give me a minute. Condoms are in the bedroom.”

He started to slip out of the shower, but Dani shook her head then released Bryson with a pop.

“I’m on birth control. Don’t leave.”

Aiden hesitated and Bryson could read the indecision on his friend’s face. “Are you sure?”

“I know everything about you guys, remember? I spent the better part of an hour during that last road trip to Memphis listening to you two talk about how you’d love to go bareback one day.”

Bryson chuckled as she quoted him almost exactly. She had been shocked at the time to learn neither of them had ever had sex without a condom. Then she had confessed she’d never had a man come inside her. Not her mouth or pussy, though Dani hadn’t used the word pussy. It had been up to Bryson to fill in that blank as she blushed furiously in the backseat.

“Dani,” Aiden said quietly. His tone said it all. She was a dream, a gift, a fantasy come true, all rolled into one.

She wiggled her ass playfully. “Hurry up.”

Aiden resumed his spot behind her as Dani wrapped her lips around Bryson’s cock. He groaned. “Fuck. I’m not going to last much longer.”

Aiden slowly slid into Dani’s pussy, his eyes closing in bliss. “I don’t think you have to worry about competing with me. Holy shit, this feels good.”

Bryson cupped Dani’s cheeks and together, he and Aiden found a pace that was so perfect, it was their demise.

Bryson hadn’t exaggerated about being close. After only a few minutes, he felt his balls tighten. “Can’t stop, Dani.” He started to pull free, intent of finishing with his hand.

Dani reached around him, her fingers digging into his ass cheeks to hold him in place. Within a dozen short strokes, he was lost, jet after jet of come exploding into Dani’s hot mouth. She swallowed it all, then suckled his softening cock as Aiden continued to pump into her pussy.

Bryson slowly tugged free when he felt her body stiffen, dropping to his knees in front of her. He kissed her, then pulled away to watch her beautiful face as she came. Aiden was right there with her, jerking roughly as he spilled inside.

Bryson had a perfect view of both their faces—and he realized he loved them. Aiden was his best friend and brother. And Dani owned his heart.

He’d tried to convince himself last night had been a fluke because it was too hard to consider he might never have his heart’s desire.

Now he understood what Aiden had been alluding to.

This wasn’t wrong.

And it wasn’t over.

Chapter Five

Dani stood on the porch of the only house that had ever felt like a true home and stared at the door. She could hear laughter inside—loud, boisterous. It had always been that way with the Lewis clan. It had taken her years after leaving here to remember how to have fun.

After she’d run away, her heart had been too heavy, too terrified to summon that emotion. In fact, when she looked back on her life, there had only been two periods where she’d felt secure enough to act like her true self—to be silly and to have fun. With the Lewises. And with Bryson and Aiden.

Following their brief interlude in the shower, Bryson and Aiden had taken catnaps. Dani had intended to do the same until her cell beeped. There was a text from her dad. He definitely had her number, though she couldn’t figure out how he’d gotten it. The message, like the ones that had come before, freaked her out enough to have her trembling for several minutes after reading it.

It had said, “Day of reckoning almost here. Ready for it?”

She’d turned off her phone and lain on the couch like a zombie until Bryson and Aiden had woken up and the three of them had gotten ready to come here.

As she stood on the porch, the hair on the back of her neck stood up as she felt eyes on her. She’d had the same sensation of being watched when she’d met Jett and Carissa for breakfast yesterday, and then again last night in the restaurant.

Dani tried to convince herself it was just her imagination, but she had too strong a sense of self-preservation to discount the feeling completely. She glanced over her shoulder to study the neighborhood behind her. The street was quiet and appeared deserted, but Dani couldn’t shake the idea that her dad was there, watching her.

If he was, she’d fucked up royally, as she’d led him to the Lewis home and put Aiden and Bryson on his radar.

“Soooo,” Bryson drawled, pulling her from her terrifying thoughts. “Are we knocking anytime this century?”

She grinned at his attempt to ease her nervousness, though she suspected it was a wobbly effort. She was slowly starting to freak out despite the fact Bryson was usually a natural when it came to helping her laugh her cares away.

“We can leave right now, Dani, if you don’t want to do this.” And in true fashion, Aiden was there to offer her comfort and an escape route if the humor failed.

“I want to see them. It’s just…I didn’t leave on the best of terms.”

“You think they’ll be angry?”

Dani shook her head, but even as she did so, she wasn’t sure. While Jett had assured her everyone was dying to see her, she felt as though she’d let Mama Lewis down, hurt her by running away.

She’d carried that guilt around for a damn long time.

“Dani?” Aiden stepped closer.

She swallowed her fear and knocked on the door. If she couldn’t handle a reunion as simple as this, there was no way in hell she’d manage to face her asshole of a father.

Jett opened the door, grinning widely. “Everybody is in the dining room. They’re going to flip out.”

Her beloved foster brother grabbed her hand and tugged her inside as if sensing her desire to bolt. His grip told her she wasn’t going anywhere.

Aiden and Bryson followed in their wake as Jett led them to the dining room. They gave her some space, but remained close enough to let her know they were there if she needed them.

The room was much more crowded than it had been in the days when Dani had lived there. Jett had warned her that the family had doubled, as the majority of her foster siblings had found their soul mates.

“Look what I found.”

The room erupted.

Chairs scraped along the hardwood floor as everyone began jumping from their seats.

According to Jett, he’d only told his family that he’d found her and he was planning to contact her soon. None of them knew they’d been chatting for two months. Or that she was coming to visit. The shit-eating grin on his face told Dani he was thrilled by the results of his big surprise.

Her foster sister, Chloe, was the first to reach her. For such a tiny woman, she knew how to give one hell of a hug. The two of them laughed when Chloe released her, then slugged Jett in the arm. “I can’t believe you didn’t tell us she was coming! I would have bought a damn present.”

Dani shook her head. “Today is my present. I’m so glad to see you again, Chloe.”

Chloe didn’t have a chance to respond as Justin grabbed Dani, and then Caleb took his turn. Both men gave her gigantic bear hugs. They’d been older when Dani came to live with the Lewis family, Justin in his early twenties, and Caleb a big, bad senior in high school. They’d both instantly assumed the role of overprotective brothers, making Dani feel safe and cared for.

“I think you guys got bigger,” she said, attempting to catch her breath. “I didn’t think that was possible.”

“We missed you, Dani,” Justin said.

Caleb crossed his tattooed arms, drawing her attention to his muscular chest. Most people would probably take one look at Caleb and head in the opposite direction, but Dani knew he was a giant teddy bear under the fearsome exterior. “Never again, Dani. Don’t you dare disappear on us again.”

She’d run because she’d been afraid, felt helpless. She had been too scared to consider what her actions had done to the family she’d left behind and the pain she’d cause them.

“I promise. No more running away.” She’d never meant anything more. Despite the threat of her father looming over her head, she refused to hide from the people she loved ever again.

“Remember us?”

Dani looked over, her eyes widening. “Zac? Noah? Oh my God. You were just annoying little kids the last time I saw you! You guys grew up. And got hot.”

They all laughed as the two boys stepped closer to add their hugs to the pile. They’d only been with Mama Lewis a few months before Dani ran. Their mother, a drug-addict, had come to the realization she couldn’t raise the boys. As such, she’d placed her two young sons in the Lewis house to give them a shot at a good life.

During all the welcomes, Dani had been very aware of the woman standing at the end of the table, patiently waiting her turn. Once the crowd around Dani cleared, she stood, feeling somewhat nervous, as she faced Mama Lewis.

Then Mama Lewis lifted her arms and Dani ran into them, feeling for the first time since she’d stepped foot in Louisiana that she had indeed come home.

Dani clung to the dear woman and was thrilled that Mama Lewis clung back. Dani was crying and she couldn’t stop.

Mama Lewis rocked her gently. “It’s okay, baby girl. You’re home. I’ve got you.”

When Dani finally composed herself enough to speak, she pulled away to look at Mama Lewis. “I missed you.”

Mama Lewis had tears in her eyes as well. “Oh, Dani. I prayed every single night that you were safe and that you’d find your way back to us.” Mama Lewis cupped her cheeks, wiping away the tears on Dani’s face. “You’re a sight for sore eyes.”

Dani laughed and sniffled. Then she remembered Aiden and Bryson. She turned around and found them both hovering just inside the doorway of the dining room, taking it all in. They’d given her the time she needed to reunite with her family. She smiled when she saw Aiden’s happy, crooked grin and laughed when Bryson winked at her.

“So,” Bryson said, “I assume this is the Lewis family, or are we in the wrong house?”

Dani rolled her eyes and giggled. “Mama, I’d like to introduce you to Aiden and Bryson. They’re my b—” Dani stumbled for a split second then recovered. “Bandmates.” She’d been perilously close to saying boyfriends.

Mama Lewis walked over and gave them both hugs. “I’m so glad to meet you. You boys keeping an eye on our girl? Keeping her out of trouble?”

Aiden graced Mama Lewis with a charming grin. “We do the best we can, but she’s a wild one.”

Mama Lewis laughed. “That she is. Come in here and meet the rest of the family.”

Dani stood next to Aiden and Bryson as Mama Lewis introduced them to the significant others who had joined the family over the past few years.

Caleb had married a very nice woman named Jennifer. Apparently, they’d met at his tattoo parlor, Midnight Ink, when she went in for a tattoo. Dani marveled at her tattoo, and the several new ones Caleb was sporting. He’d always been an amazing artist and it looked like he’d found the perfect medium for his talent. Bryson started asking him a lot of questions, describing a design he’d always wanted inked on his shoulder. Dani glanced at Aiden, who gave her an exasperated eye-roll. It looked like there was going to be a tattoo in Bryson’s near future.

Chloe interrupted the discussion when she pointed to the handsome man next to her. “This is my fiancé, Blake.”

Dani recognized the name immediately. Jett intended for the two of them to pull Blake aside at some point today to talk to him about her issues with her father.

“Nice to meet you,” Dani said, shaking Blake’s hand. She could see why Chloe had fallen for the guy. He had “sexy bad boy” written all over him.

Carissa, Jett’s girlfriend, stepped forward, her arm wrapped around Jett’s waist. “It’s good to see you again, Dani. I’ve heard a lot about you guys,” Carissa said to Aiden and Bryson. “Dani told me about your record deal yesterday at breakfast. Congratulations.”

“Thanks,” Aiden said.

“And last but not least,” Justin said, “these are my partners, Ned and Bella.”

Dani struggled for a moment to understand the meaning of “partners”. The issue was cleared up when Ned and Justin each took one of Bella’s hands, lifting them for a kiss.

Through her peripheral vision, she saw Aiden’s eyes widen and his grin grow.

Great. She’d spent the better part of the morning trying to convince herself that a ménage a trois was fantasy fodder, not real life.

Now she was face-to-face with a real-life threesome.

“How long have you been together?” Bryson asked.

Aaaand now Bryson was gathering ammunition. She’d gotten a sense that neither man was interested in halting what they’d begun the night before. Dani was going to have to be the voice of reason. But that was going to be hard to do. Mainly because she wanted very badly to throw caution to the wind.

“A couple of years,” Ned answered. “Gets better every day. We work together at Lewis and Kinnaman, the marketing firm Justin and I started. Bella is our graphic artist. She can’t stand to spend one minute away from us because we’re so damn irresistible.”
