The Morrigan: Damaged Deities (45 page)

Forgiveness was found, their unparalleled devotion and affection was rediscovered.

Frantic for what had been so long lost to her, Morrie grasped at Kade with her lips and her embrace, wrapping her arms around his neck.

She only broke their kisses long enough to beg with breathless need, “I’m so sorry.  I’m so sorry.”

Kade forgave her with his lips and his hands that sought her soft flesh, his splayed fingers running up her thighs and up, over her backside.  The skirt of her dress came up with his hands as they roamed over her backside and across her back, baring her to the warm room.

As easily as he had slipped it on her, he pushed her dress up over her head, divesting it to a tumbling heap on the ground.

Morrie sat naked and straddling Kade while he touched her, caressed her everywhere.

She reached down between them and tugged at the button of his jeans, easing the zipper down.  His cock sprung free, the head already glistening with anticipation.

As they kissed and sucked and nipped at each other, Morrie pushed Kade’s jeans down.  He lifted his hips enough for her to yank them over his ass and push them down his legs.

There was no waiting this time; there was no taking it slow.  Morrie lifted up and slid back down on Kade’s strained erection, his cock filling her fully.

His hands holding her hips, together they worked her back and forth, his cock melding with her inside, driving deeper and deeper.

Morrie’s head fell back as that mounting pleasure built.  Kade bowed his head and took her nipple between his lips, his tongue pulling and sucking in time to their bodies.

He tugged and pulled and sucked at the nipple until coming up for air to splay his large hand across her chest, bending her further back.  It seated his cock so deep inside her that it reached a place she’d never been touched before.

Their thrusts picked up, turned frenzied and soon the muscles in his chest and neck strained.  T

he pace never stopped, not even when both of them finally broke, crying out as their seed spilled, mingling together to completely fuse them as lovers once again.

“And deep distress possessed Cuchulainn that day more than any other day for his being all alone on the Táin.”

While she could have stayed in bed with Kade the rest of the day, it actually felt good for Morrie to sit upright for a bit and put some clothes on.

They had spent the night and well into the next day making up for lost time, re-exploring and reacquainting themselves with each other’s body.

There was soreness now in her tender spots, something that she had not experienced before.  She’d never been bedded to the point of bruising, had never felt what impact a lover could have over her muscles and bones.  Morrie loved every ache and tenderness of it.

She was certain her sisters remained at the manor.

While Morrie didn’t know of Nan and the others, she could feel her sisters’ presence still and she wanted to see them both, even Macy.

Taking advantage of the first break she had from Kade’s arms, Morrie suggested they finally get up.

With a grin, she watched Kade shrug a sweater over his head, the muscles in his back tensing and swelling with the movement.

She tugged her jeans down over her boots and rested her elbows on her knees, content to sit and watch the man move.

She loved seeing her fierce warrior in this body—still frighteningly large and honed like a beast, but there was beauty in the lines and form.  A dark intrigue that lit a certain amount of fear and anticipation within her at what mysteries lay beneath.

This man tempered his emotions differently than he did as Chulainn.

The Celt would bellow, throw fits, and destroy everything around him.  His anger he unfurled like a flag, but felt it weak to express anything else.  To show any other emotion.

Kade was not like that.

He had let her see just how he felt, he had shown her how she touched his heart whether it was pain, longing, or disappointment.

It had been a bitter pill to take, but Morrie was fascinated by the beautiful display.

Dragging a heavy pair of boots from the bottom of his wardrobe, Kade turned around and caught her staring at him.  An eyebrow arched.

“Enjoyin’ the view, lass?” he asked all cocky and confidant.

“It would be better if not covered.”

The boots landed with a heavy thud and Kade crawled over her, pressing her back against the bed with his body as he peppered grinning kisses to her neck.

“Twas yer idea we dress,” he purred at her ear, his nimble fingers playing with the buttons of her shirt. “I had voted tae stay in bed longer.”

Morrie groaned through her smile, raking her hands through his hair. “And you still make a strong case…”

She gasped when he slid his lips to the valley between her breasts, his large hands splayed across her back to bring them closer to his mouth, like a man cupping his first taste of water after a drought.

Kade wanted more.

Unbuttoning her shirt, he brought his lips down her stomach and then slid off the bed, twisting her body so her legs were open as he kneeled on the floor between her knees.

His fingers quickly unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans, shrugging them with purpose down her hips.

Quicker than she had put them on, he removed her jeans and boots.

“And this is an even better argument.”

Morrie could feel his smile against her inner thigh as he brushed his lips across the sensitive skin.

Kade leaned in and dragged his tongue across her seam.  Wasting no time, he dove inside her with his tongue with a dangerous hunger.  She moaned and writhed on the bed, unable to handle how good he felt.

All thoughts of leaving the room ceased when he ran the tip of his tongue around the little nub at the apex of her sex and she gasped again, arching her back off the bed, her fingers clawing the bedding.

Drawing that nub between his lips, Kade sucked it, twirled his tongue around it, held it like it offered sustenance to a starving man.

Sounds Morrie didn’t think she could make broke from the back of her throat.

While working her to frenzy, Kade slipped a finger inside her sex.  Tremors shook her body while his tongue took care of her sensitive spot and his finger worked in and out of her channel.

It was too much to handle, Morrie succumbed to the ecstasy, her legs falling apart, opening her body to him fully.  With his finger inside, Kade continued to lap like he couldn’t get enough.

A hard knock on the door did not stop him.

Morrie was begging, whimpering his name.

Her fingers dug into his hair and her hips bucked against his mouth.  When her sex clenched his finger, he growled.

Another knock and a muffled, “Kade” from his brother brought Kade away from her sex.  He stood, his dark eyes locked with hers while his finger continued its wicked pursuit.

“Aye,” he barked in a gruff and husky voice, still watching her as he worked her channel in slow and lazy circles.

“I need tae speak with ye.  It’s about Lorna.”

“Aye, just a moment.”

The dark look in Kade’s eyes as he held her gaze in his had her almost coming from it alone.

That he stood over her, between her bent legs, his finger still sliding in and out, never breaking that intense hold on her while he spoke to his brother…Morrie nearly climaxed right then.

After a moment of silence from outside the room, Kade slipped a second finger in.  Morrie cried out.

“Aye, lass, I’ll bring ye over the edge while I watch.  Yer little cunt is clinging tae my fingers fiercely.  Let go now, love.”

Morrie grabbed his hand and held him tight to her pussy, bucking wildly as she fucked his fingers.  He stood over her like a god, his large body blocking out everything else, and watched as she lost herself in the build up.

“Let go, Morrie.  Let me feel ye come.”

With one final violent spasm, Morrie screamed and shattered into a million little pieces, still clutching Kade’s hand to her like she would float away without it.

After a few final pulses, he withdrew his hand and grabbed a towel from his closet, cleaning her and then himself.

Tossing the towel aside, he leaned back over her and pressed his lips to the swells of her breasts, encircling her waist in his arms. “Now, what were ye saying before?”

Morrie laughed even as she held his head to her breast. “That my sisters are still here and I must see them.” Gods, his kisses felt so good. “We need to discuss when we’re going to leave.”

The kisses stopped.

Kade lifted his head from her breasts, his eyes dark and hard.

“Leave tae where?”

Blinking, Morrie looked down at him.  His head hovered over her chest, his brow lined.

“Well, back home.”

His arms tightened around her. “Why ye need tae be goin’ anywhere?  Yer home is here now.”

Morrie sighed and dropped her head, tilting it so she could still look at him. “I have a job back in the States.  I have a life there.”

“Ye could have a job here.  Ye could have a life here.  With me.”

“Kade…”

“Damn it!” He jumped up from her, turning his back to her as he paced the floor. “I doona understand, Morrie.  I thought things would be different now.”

She stood up, holding out her hands. “They are.”

“How?” He turned his anger on her, his eyes flashing with that red light.  It immediately enflamed Morrie’s temper that he would react in such a way to her, make her regret her earlier thoughts on emotion. “How is anything different if ye’re still runnin’ away from me?”

“I’m not running away,” Morrie hissed, poking her feet in her jeans and yanking them up.  She quickly buttoned her shirt back up.

“Ye never change.” His face screwed up with disgust, his strong jaw clenched tight. “Ye never give yerself tae me.”

Still fuming and now shaking, she tugged her boots on and stood up. “I’m just going to see my sisters.”

Morrie spun away and marched out of the room.

She made it to the hall before Kade followed after her, calling out, “Wait!”

With that maddened look in his eyes, he drew up to her so predatorily that she took a few steps back, hitting the wall.

The shadow of his body cast wide across her, contained her in its dark enclosure.

“Ye never cared for me, did ye?” he asked.  There was pain in his voice even if he tried to hide it.

The breath left her lungs with an exasperated sigh, but Morrie couldn’t take her eyes off of him, off of his lips as they slowly closed in on her.

“Of course I care for you…”  It was absurd for him to even suggest it, she had pined over him, had remained celibate for him for thousands of years!

“Don’t play with me, Morrie.”  He stood so close to her now she could breathe in his breath, hot in her face.  She could feel the heat of his body so close to hers, his dark eyes on her lips.

“I—I’m not,” she breathed.

“Ye won’t stay.  Ye never do.” His voice turned soft as he lightly dragged a finger across her cheek, brushing aside a lock of hair. Her skin tingled at his touch; she fought pressing her hips against him. Still he looked at her mouth like he wanted to consume her. “Ye won’t stay for me.”

“Kade—,” she whimpered.  She wanted to tell him everything he wanted to hear.  She wanted to express herself to him the way he so easily did to her.  She wanted him.

And maybe she could stay in Scotland.  Maybe she could commit herself to him, even if the idea of making any kind of commitment seemed so foreign to her.
