I lay quietly in the cheap motel bed waiting for my one
night stand to fall into a deep sleep. The trick was to wait until his breath changed from short and shallow, to deep and long. Snoring was a bonus clue, although tonight my chosen lover was quiet and peaceful. It’d been less than twenty minutes ago that he’d closed his eyes and rolled over after our energetic evening.
He’d
be sufficiently satisfied of course, I knew how to play my role well. Even I was feeling good and that didn’t always happen - this guy knew how to press the right buttons.
He murmured in his
sleep, which meant he was dreaming. It was time to leave.
I glanced at the clock with its fluorescent green numbers that glowed against the wall.
Just gone three a.m. The early morning bus out of here came soon, although I didn’t have to hurry. The terminal was only three blocks away. Everything in this small town was only three blocks away.
The motel was your typical roadside cheap dive with twenty small rooms over two levels. Each room consisted of the main sleeping area with a bathroom at the back. It
wasn’t the type of place you’d want to spend any time in. It was good for two things only. Sex and sleep.
We were on the bottom at the far end. The room was small and barely fit the double bed and chipped
Formica table. There wasn’t even a closet to hang your clothes, just a metal rod that jutted out on the opposite wall with a few twisted hangers. A large window that took up most of the front wall was next to the door. It was the only window in the place, save for a tiny strip of glass in the bathroom. There was no escaping through the bathroom window. I wondered if that was considered a fire hazard.
The room
was paid for in advance with cash. You always pay with cash.
It was quiet outside tonight. Even though the motel sat on a busy road at the edge of town, I
couldn’t hear many cars going about their business. Everyone was probably asleep. The bar where I’d met this guy had closed two hours ago. Sleepy towns never have much of nightlife. My kind of hunting ground.
I swung my feet out of the bed and got up. The heat in this motel room was on the fritz, leaving it coming and going in short, sharp blasts every so often from the metal box that hung half in, half out of the window buzzing with a low hum. It was enough to keep the room from freezing, but not enough to stop my skin from prickling from the cold. Even so, I
didn’t bother to get dressed yet. I had to see how much my haul netted me first.
I tiptoed over to the table where
he’d thrown his belongings. His wallet was in the back pocket of his jeans that hung over the only chair in the motel room. I fished it out and opened it, expecting the usual one or two hundred dollars, but it was thick with notes. Mental sums indicated there was at least three thousand dollars here.
Tsk
, tsk. Colt, my lover for the evening, had been a bad, bad boy.
I folded the cash over and stashed it in my backpack.
His cell phone was on the table. I’d already seen his pass code to get in, men are sloppy when they are about to get a piece of ass like me. I entered the four numbers and accessed the app I was looking for. It was necessary for me to know where my one night stands were during the getaway period. It made things a lot easier. Eventually they’d find the GPS tracker and delete it, but I was always long gone by then. Once it was set I placed his phone back on the table where I’d found it.
I moved the curtain to the side and peeked out. Colt’s motorcycle
was parked outside the motel room. It was sleek and silver with black leather seats. A biker insignia was painted on the side, but he was alone tonight. They don’t always travel in packs, especially when picking up. I was grateful for that.
I wondered if I should take the bike. It would certainly be a faster getaway. My fingers played with the keys on the table as I considered my options.
Hell, why not? It’d be better than the bus and much quicker. I wouldn’t keep it forever, of course, I’d leave it somewhere he could find it again. But, taking it would give me an advantage since he couldn’t chase me and get the money back if he didn’t have fast wheels.
He stirred in the bed, groaned and rolled over. Damn it, I was wasting too much time. I opened my backpack and pulled out the spare set of clean underwear I always bought with me on pick up nights. I left the black lace lingerie on the bed so
he’d have something to remember me by.
After pulling on a pair of comfortable jeans and a black t-shirt, I stuffed the tight dress and high heels
I’d been wearing earlier into my bag. I grabbed a hair tie and pulled my long blonde hair into a ponytail before walking into the bathroom to wash away the thick make-up. Normally I don’t wear make-up, but it was necessary for catching men. I knew how to create smoky eyes that made me look sexy and seductive. Without it, I looked innocent and sweet.
Looks can be deceiving,
can’t they?
Once my makeup was
off I walked back into the main room. Colt was still asleep as he should be. I sat down on the chair and pulled on my ankle high boots. Comfortable with a low heel. Can’t be wearing anything high when you had to make a run for it.
The neon vacancy sign outside blinked making the motorcycle keys glint in the room’s low light.
I scooped them up and they scraped along the table.
Colt stirred and rolled over. “Going somewhere?” He reached over fumbling with the bedside lamp switch until it came on.
Damn it
.
As the sheet slipped down his body, I took a moment to admire his tight abs and smooth chest with just a hint of hair. He blinked sleepily, his pale blue eyes shining from the light, his short dark hair curling messily over his forehead.
“I’m hungry.” I said. “Just getting something to eat. I’ll be back soon.” I walked over to the bed and kissed him on the cheek as casually as I could.
He reached for my hand, twirling his warm fingers in mine and looking at me more closely. “Awfully dressed up, don’t you think?”
“Oh yeah, it’s cold outside. Don’t want me to freeze do you?”
“There’s a vending machine near the front office. I saw it when we rode up. Grab a packet of crisps for me.
Crinkled.”
“Sure, will do.”
He let go of my hand and I turned toward the door. “Wait, I’ll come with you.”
“No need. I’m good.”
He sat up, rubbed his face and then looked me up and down. “Hey, where are you really going?”
He swung his feet onto the
threadbare carpeted floor and began to look over at the table at his belongings. He’d see his keys were gone and put two and two together if I didn’t act fast.
I
couldn’t have that.
I teased my fingers down the side of his face, feeling the soft stubble, and turned his attention back to me rather than his things. “I’m not only hungry for food.” I leaned forward and kissed him, letting my backpack fall beside me and pushed it to the side so I could grab it quickly when I needed to.
My tongue entered his mouth and his breath quickened. Men were so easy to distract when sex was on offer. I pushed him back on the bed, hearing the old mattress squeak under him as I lifted my t-shirt above my head. While he was distracted looking at my bra covered breasts, I dropped the motorcycle keys, hidden in my t-shirt, on the floor where I could find them again.
Still with my jeans on, I climbed onto the bed and straddled his naked body, running my hand over his chest.
His eyes drank in my neck, my bra, my smooth stomach and he groaned appreciatively even though
he’d just devoured every inch of me less than an hour ago. Something I’d enjoyed immensely. And, I had to admit that he was in good shape, much better than the regular suits I targeted. I’d had to sway from my original plan as there had been no suits at the bar tonight, and usually I don’t seduce bikers, but Colt wasn’t your typical biker. He was sweet, charming, and polite, not to mention very easy on the eye. Under the dark clothing, I could see someone who was raised well from a good family. His mama must be so proud.
I reached around my back and unclasped my bra, letting my small pert breasts spring free. He reached up and touched them, caressing his finger over the pink buds that began to harden under his touch. God, he was good with his hands. I almost
didn’t want to leave him.
“Wait,” I whispered into his ear. He
momentarily looked confused as I stood up by the side of the bed. I pulled the thin leather belt away from my jeans and snapped it in front of him with a loud crack that made him jump. “Ever been tied up?”
“Have you?” He was quick and strong, and pulled me down to the bed until I was
laying on my back and he was on top of me. He snatched the belt away from me and lifted my hands above my head, wrapping the strap around my wrists. “The things I could do to you.” I closed my eyes and groaned. In another lifetime, I’d be all over this.
“My turn.”
I pulled my arms away before he had a chance to buckle the end. I swayed my hips, kneeling on the side of the bed as I wriggled out of my jeans.
“Nice underwear,” he said, grinning at my cotton comfort pair.
A far cry from the sexy lace ones I’d worn earlier.
I took them off too until I was bare and naked in front of him. It was the only pair
I’d bought. Next time I’d make sure I packed two spares instead of one. Not that I’d have to go hunting for a while, three grand would keep me and Owen comfortable for quite some time.
I let my hair down, shaking my head so it flowed over my shoulders and down my back. I bit my lip seductively and lowered my lashes in a way that drove men wild.
