Soulless (A Zombie Erotic Romance) (7 page)

And hot.

I clenched around his cock, shivering
in delight whenever he pressed through my defenses. So deep inside
of me, tight and fiery, then slowly easing out. I gasped through
ragged breath, shuddering at the sensation of our coupling. Soon,
he said. I thought I was already there.

I started as kindling, but he fed me a
spark. I savored it, tended to it, and when he gave me more I
accepted it fully. Now I had a full blown fire, but I wanted more.
I wanted a pyre, conflagration, burning combustion.

My body blazed and I spasmed as my
orgasm overtook me. Quaking and clenching, clutching hard against
his cock, I practically roared with each of his thrusts. High up
now, soaring, I felt like some elemental being made of pure flames.
Crackling, crisp and delightful.

Evan pushed hard into me and held
himself there. I squeezed against him, massaging his cock with my
frenzied climax. He pulsed inside of me, once, twice, and more.
Deep and hard and, oh, so wonderful.

He came. His seed filled me
completely, finding every possible spot that his cock hadn't heated
already and finalizing my sultry fire. I shuddered and shook in his
arms, blinded by the flickering firelight behind my closed
eyes.

Evan held me tight, embraced me,
squeezing me against him. His cock twitched inside of me as I
coaxed forth more of his cream with my desirous climax. He held me
and kissed my neck and my shoulders and strained to kiss my cheek.
I nearly died; I felt so overloaded with pleasure.

This was unlike anything I'd ever felt
before. I wanted more.

Evan softened inside of me and I
fluttered down from my sexual high. Slow, gentle, still ablaze, I
could at least think better now, though. I turned to him and pursed
my lips and tried to kiss him and he slid forward and touched his
lips to mine.

"I can think again," I said, giddy.
"I'm sorry I interrupted you."

"It's alright," he said. "I can't say
I minded."

"What were you saying about...
about..." I remembered now. Casual, he said. Casual sex. This was
that, wasn't it? I fell, dropped, cooled down suddenly.

"I don't want this to be casual," he
said. "Sadie, I'd like to see you again, if that's
alright?"

I spun around. His cock slipped out of
my folds, leaving a taste of warmth and coolness where it had once
lay inside me, but I didn't care. I hugged him and wrapped my legs
and arms around him, pulling him to me. I kissed him, ignoring the
tingling flares sparking along my lips whenever we touched. He
kissed me, too, caught up in my passion.

"Is that a yes?" he asked when I
finally let him free for a second.

"You'll really come back?" I asked,
still unsure if this was all real or imaginary.

"I'd like to. I..." He paused and
frowned. "I need to leave in the morning. If I don't, they'll send
someone looking for me. I wasn't even supposed to be in the city
today. I was supposed to be hunting. I'll come back, though. I
promise."

I listened and nodded. I touched my
nose against his and laughed at the tickling feel of it. He smiled
and watched me with glimmering, happy eyes.

"You don't think I'm... strange,
then?" I asked. "I know I'm different. I'm sorry about that, Evan.
I don't look nice anymore. I can't help it but I'll try. I might be
able to find some makeup to cover up my skin. It's this color all
the time and I don't know why. I'll try to look regular for you.
I'll..."

"Sadie," Evan said, shushing me by
putting his finger on my lips. "I think you're beautiful. You don't
have to do anything special for me. I like you the way you
are."

Did he really, though? I thought about
it while we huddled together, cuddling. Drifting to sleep, happy
for the first time in months, I wondered if this could
work.

Everything seemed perfect now, but
what about when he left?

The haze would overtake me, spreading
throughout my body. Coolness replacing Evan's warmth and confusion
muddling my mind.

And then what?

A Note from Cerys

I think this was the most different and fun
story I've written in a long time. I want to thank you for reading
it and I hope you enjoyed it. I'd love to write more about Sadie
and Evan, but I don't know if this kind of story will be popular
enough. It's one of those risks I take sometimes, you know? I know
I can't please everyone, but I try to write the kinds of stories
that people want to read. If no one's enjoying it, it makes it
really hard to write more sometimes.

Saying that, I
really
hope you enjoyed
this story. I want to write more of it, and I have so many ideas. I
don't think it'd ever go
this
far, but I spent a few hours coming up with
potential titles for a huge series following this story. I have
tons of cover art ready and waiting to be used, too. I don't know
if writers are supposed to get this excited about reading their own
stories, but when I was reading this one over after I finished, I
was giddy and smiling at my computer screen.

If you liked this story and
would like to read more, I'd love to know. You can rate and review
it wherever you bought it, or you can send me an email if you'd
like (
[email protected]
).
You can even leave a comment on my website if that's easier (
CerysduLys.com ).

I feel kind of silly now getting this
excited over "Soulless," but I just really hope you've enjoyed it
because I'd love to write more about Sadie and Evan.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I
appreciate it. Let me know what you think!

"I'm so sorry, sir. Mr. Landseer, I
apologize. I don't know what came over me. I..."

He turned to me, rage in his eyes. I
could almost see a tiny spark of red lighting up the very center of
his icy blue irises. Tossing the page aside, he grabbed my wrist
and dragged me through the open glass door into his private meeting
room.

"Sir, I--"

Without listening, he tossed me onto
his meeting room table and glared at me. I wasn't sure what to do,
wasn't sure what to think. What was going on? I inched away from
him, my hands pressed into the smooth, alder wood table as I tried
to get away. He would accept none of that.

Grabbing my foot, he pulled me back
towards him. My skirt bunched up behind me, sliding towards my rear
as he pulled me, leaving my pantyhose-covered crotch exposed to
him. He gazed at me. His eyes seemed to revel in the surprised look
on my face, the sight of my breasts heaving up and down as my
breath quickened, and the tantalizing view of my exposed underwear.
His hand traveled up my leg, caressing my pantyhose, exploring my
thigh and moving towards my sex.

This was not happening, I told myself.
But no matter what I told myself, it continued to happen. And,
despite the fact that I was scared out of my mind, I was also
uncontrollably aroused. There was a little part of me, that small
heart-skipping pulse in my veins, that had never fully left. Upon
seeing just what Asher Landseer was capable of, that part grew,
stretched, until it was all-encompassing and demanding.

Asher smiled, watching me wriggle on
the table, unable to escape him. He looped a finger into my
pantyhose and peeled them down to my knees.

"Sir!" I screamed. "Asher!
What are you—?"

Gronch and Crunch led her through the
Forest of Sacrifice. They pushed aside tree branches so she could
walk past them without ruining her clothes and they lifted her up
and over any fallen logs they encountered. At first it took some
getting used to, and she didn't know why they did it, so she
asked.

"You Queen," Crunch said, as if this
was all the answer he needed to provide.

So, that was it? They helped her
because she was the new Queen, the bride for the Demon King,
Bastion. A simple courtesy and nothing more. Most likely they'd
treat her differently once she arrived, when threat of the Demon
King's disapproval was gone. The King, Bastion, was probably
waiting at the entrance to the monster city. He'd want to see her,
of course, and make certain Glenwood hadn't sent him some frail
excuse for a woman.

And, really, if anything, Solace
wasn't frail, so she didn't expect to disappoint him in those
regards. She wore a ragged dress colored in a simple brown, and she
was in a constant state of hunger because she never knew when she'd
eat her next meal, but she was strong enough. She knew how to work
and had spent her fair share of time cleaning. More voluptuous than
muscular, but she could hold her own. And, despite everyone in
Glenwood mocking her, she thought she looked pretty. Her hands were
too calloused, but she had lovely honey blonde hair that ended in
curls and the rest of her skin was soft and supple.

Not that anyone could see that beneath
her dress. Except the Demon King might want to? She blushed at the
thought of it. Wasn't that his right, though? As her husband
obviously he'd want to see her body. And on their wedding night it
was essentially a requirement. Would he find her attractive,
though? Adequate? Since he was a demon, he probably had different
ideas on what qualified a woman's beauty, and really, no one had
ever called Solace beautiful to begin with, so she doubted he
would. She liked to think she was, some prize hiding beneath a
rough exterior and waiting for her one true love, but...

No longer. That wasn't to be. She was
the Demon King's now, his wife, his possession. It didn't matter
what he thought of her just so long as he accepted her as
Glenwood's peace offering.

The idea scared her. She didn't want
to be just a thing, an item to be owned.

"You slow," Crunch said.

"Yeah," Gronch agreed. He picked her
up and tossed her over his shoulder.

Solace squeaked. "Excuse
me!"

"Shh. Quiet. I carry."

"I don't think I need to be
carried."

"No worries, Solace," Crunch said.
"Gronch don't mind. He strong."

"It's not a matter of..."
