“Let’s see what happens.” Adam sat up and stroked her face.  Then he kissed her on the cheek and looked at the view of the mountains.  He knew that his heart would guide him in the right direction.  He stood up and pulled on his shorts, then reached for his shirt.  Camille got dressed as well.  “I know that I’ve finally found love.  And that’s all that matters.”  Adam smiled at Camille, and then they both walked out of the bedroom to join the party.

Mary hadn’t had any break for close to three weeks and she felt as though her knees were going to give. She had been trying to avoid taking breaks since his boyfriend… or about to be ex-boyfriend was really making her life a living hell. Going back home didn’t really seem like an incredible option at the moment and so she opted to stay up and work.

Besides, Mary thought the idea of working on a regular basis was a good one since she was making some good money while at it and she liked it. Many a times Mary thought about just packing her bags and abandoning Kevin. But the problem was that she wasn’t sure he would survive without him. As a matter of fact, all Mary did was take care of people.

It was something that was in her nature and abandoning her man at his time of need wouldn’t be something she would go ahead and do in her right mind. So she opted to just hang in there and wait until Kevin grew a pair and started supporting himself. But until then, she would wait. Her friends had even taken turns trying to talk some sense into her head but she seemingly wasn’t listening at all.

“You know what? When this lazy ass boyfriend of yours gets on his feet, he is going to leave you for another woman and you know it.”

“I wouldn’t really care about the stupid man. As a matter of fact, that would be such an incredible thing. I just don’t want to leave him during his time of need. It would seem as though I’m such a heartless person. And we both know that isn’t the case.”

“No it isn’t. It’s called survival. He is twenty seven for crying out loud. You need to let this dude go my dear.”

Mary thought it was pointless to keep on arguing about her life. It was her life and so the decisions had to come from her and not her best friends. Besides, it isn’t as though they were dating saints themselves and so Mary didn’t see any reason as to why she had to listen to them at all. So she just brushed their opinions aside.

But even so, Mary knew that they had a valid point and she knew it was only a matter of time before Kevin double crossed him.

The flight was about to happen and all the hostesses were summoned on deck. They then went ahead and took rounds taking care of the passengers and finally, the pilot announced via the loud speaker that they were about to take off and so each and every one had to make sure that they were abiding by the regulations. Finally, it was time to go and the plane took off.

During the flight, Mary realized that her head was spinning and she almost fainted. But for some reason, she didn’t want to tell anyone. She was always the fighter and wanted to do things her way. Besides, her friends had just proven to be a nagging bunch of idiots and for that matter, she wasn’t going to make the more concerned about her life the way she had already done. 

“Excuse me young lady.” 

Mary turned her head to see the guy who had just tapped her on the shoulder. He was one of the most handsome cow boy she had seen. But since her job required her to be professional, Mary had no choice but to fight her urge for being flirty with passengers. But joseph seemed like the type who would kiss and not tell.
