His eyes never left mine. I was having a hard time

reading what was in them. It took awhile for him to respond.

“As long as you’re honest with me, I am fine with how you feel.”

“Michael you can’t fall in love with the first woman you have an affair with.” I stated.

His eyes clouded over.

“You think you are my first affair?”

I was in the process of putting a piece of steak in my mouth. I had to stop my fork in mid air and sit it back down on my plate.

Why I am not surprised.

“Oh I get it. That is how you get women hooked. You pretend to care about them and get them to stick around before you move on to the next.” I said with a laugh.

“Well let me tell you. You don’t have to do that with me. I will be around to fuck you for awhile.”

He looked upset by my words.

“Maxine, that is not it at all. Well, in the beginning maybe it was just sex. It is much more than that now. You have no idea what my marriage is like. The last 10 years have been torture.”

I was lacking on sympathy at this point.

“Well, why don’t you get a divorce?” I asked taking a sip of wine.

He ran his fingers through his hair.

“It is not that simple,” he said almost inaudibly.

“Well, answer this question for me.”

There was something that I needed to know.

“How many women have you had affairs with?”

He looked panicky and tense.

“Honestly?” He asked.

“No, lie to me.”

He laughed.

“Has anyone ever told you, you’re a smart ass?”

“Yes, continue please,” I said in the sweetest voice I could summon.

“There have been a few women.”

“A few?” I responded.

He was cute when he was tense and uneasy-and trying to be vague.

“How many exactly?”

“Does it really matter?”

I laughed.

“Michael I am just trying to see how many women? I mean, you talk about having all these feelings for me. It seems to me, you are just after what I am after. Sex. You have not divorced your wife. You cannot be serious about me and still be planning to stay married.”

He slowly ran his fingers through his hair. I think I struck a nerve. He seemed upset and disturbed by what I said.

“All I have is my word Maxine. You are different. You make me feel different.”

“Like I have not heard that line before.” I joked.

He didn’t find it funny.

“Maxine, don’t do that. Don’t play with me. I am pouring my heart out to you and you just laugh at me. How dare you! How dare you act like such a bitch?”

I was taken aback. I could not believe what I have just heard.

The last time a man called me out my name like that I ended up withering in pain begging him not to hit me anymore. I could not believe these words were coming out of Michael’s mouth.

“You just called me a bitch. How dare YOU call me a bitch!”

I could see the immediate remorse in his eyes. But I didn’t care.

I was so angry I was virtually speechless.

“Maxine, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what came over me.’

He reached for my hand and in the process he tipped over the bottle of wine causing all of its contents to spill onto the nice tablecloth and-me.

I couldn’t help it. I screamed and leaped up from the table.

“Maxine I am so sorry.” He said scrambling to my side.

There was red wine all over my skirt and dripping down my legs.

“Michael, it’s okay.” I said grabbing a napkin and trying to pat dry my skirt.

A couple of servers rushed over with napkins. Michael grabbed one and began to help dry off my skirt and my legs.

He seemed distraught by my wetness, but I was more concerned by the wetness in my panties. The way his fingers brushed across my legs as he gently wiped the wine that had softly dripped to my knees was making me crazy. I was not sure how much more of this I could take.

“Michael, it’s okay.” I pleaded. “I can take it from here.”

“Maxine, just let me get this off you.”

‘Michael, stop touching me!”

He stopped and stood upright. He stared at me for a second and sighed. He reached for my hand and I yanked it back. I didn’t care who was watching. I needed to get out of there.

“Just take me home.”

“Maxine, please. We can still enjoy dinner.”

“No, take me home!”

I needed to get away from him as fast as I could. I had been around men like him before. Why do I always find the men with all the problems?

The server returned asking if we wanted dessert and before I could answer Michael said no and asked for the check. I could tell that he was upset and remorseful, but I didn’t care.

We made our way to the car with me sprinting ahead and him apologizing the whole way.

“Maxine, I’m so sorry. I had a moment. Please just listen to me.”

He unlocked the car for me with a beep and I got inside. He slammed the door shut behind him and turned to me. Before he could say anything, I stopped him in his tracks. If he wanted to call me a bitch then he would get a bitch.

“Just drive!”

He glared at me for a second then turned to put on his seatbelt. He started the car and we began the 40-minute drive back to my apartment.

He focused on the cars and the road ahead, but on a few occasions I would see him glance my way. At the next red light we stopped at, he turned and looked at me. I didn’t want to look but I turned and looked at him anyway. The street lights put a glow on his handsome face and for an instant I could see signs of his age.

He smiled

I didn’t smile back.

He sighed.

“Are you still angry with me?” He asked searching my face.

“What do you think?”

I continued to stare out of the windshield.

The light turned green and we continued toward my apartment. His face gave nothing away as he focused on the road. I set back in my seat and stared out of the window. I watched as the trees flew passed. Buildings whizzed by, the lights making the shadows come to life.

We said nothing for the next fifteen minutes it took to get to my apartment. We pulled into the parking lot and Michael parked the car in a spot near the front of the building. When the car stopped I turned and looked at him.

“Thanks for dinner.” I said opening the passenger side door.

I stepped out of the car slamming the door shut. I frantically made my way to my apartment.

“Maxine, wait!” He yelled getting out of the car.

I turned and watched him as he approached. The sad look he was sporting the whole ride here had vanished and was replaced with confidence.

“I apologize.” He said somewhat out of breath.

“What are you apologizing for? Apparently you think I’m a bitch.” I said folding my arms across my chest.

“I should never have said that. That anger was not meant to be directed at you. I was just a little tired of having my feelings pushed aside.”

I wasn’t sure if I was going to except his apology.

“Please, can we just go inside and talk for a few minutes. I would like to explain.”

Every fiber of my being was telling me that I should not let him in my apartment. I should just tell him to leave and be done with him. I tell myself that I have had enough with the bad decisions, but my libido gets the best of me.

“Fine, you can come inside.” I blurted.

He smiled.

“Thank you.”

I opened my apartment door and we made our way inside. I kicked off my shoes sitting my keys on the coffee table. I turned. Michael’s coat was gone and he was standing very close to me. My heart started to pound in my chest.

“Would you like something to drink? Water? Coffee?”

He closed the distance between us shaking his head.

“Is there anything else I could get you?”

I licked my dry lips.

He reached out pulling my body against his.

“Michael you said you just wanted to talk.”

He gave me a mischievous smirk.

“I lied.”

He leaned down placing his lips on mine. Our tongues played back and forth and I melted against him. He backed me up against the wall never taking his lips from mine.

I hit the wall with a thud.

“Ow!” I exclaimed.

“I’m sorry,” he said “Just give me a second. I promise I will make you feel better.”

His lips trailed down my neck licking and kissing me. I felt his hand glide up my thigh and under my skirt. I could feel my wetness dripping down my thighs. He ran his fingers between my legs caressing me and teasing me.

Cara mia
, you are so wet.” He whispered into my ear. “I see you want me just as much as I want you.”

Before I had anytime to protest, I felt him move and pull down my panties. On his knees, he removed them throwing them over his shoulder. At this view he was able to make me feel so vulnerable. He used his tongue and licked the entire length of my right leg coming very close to my wetness.

“Mmm, Michael,” I moaned.

He stood returning his lips to mine.

I wanted him so bad that I completely lost my mind. I pushed him off me dropping to my knees. I began to undo the button and zipper on his slacks. I could see him bulging from his dark blue boxers. I slowly released his dick and took it into my mouth. I stroked his shaft with my hand as I slowly played with the head using my tongue.

“Oh, Maxine. Oh Shit.” He grunted as I continued pleasuring him.

I could feel him getting harder and harder in my mouth. His hand was gently moving my head. I came up for air and he grabbed my arms lifting me off my knees. He pushed me against the wall and this time he lifted me. I wrapped my legs around his waist.

He hurriedly guided himself inside of me. I gasped as I felt him filling me. It didn’t take long before I could feel myself getting closer and closer to my climax. He buried his head into my neck. He held me with strong hands and never faltered in his strokes.

“I’m going to make you love me.” He whispered into my ear.

The pleasure I was feeling clouded anything he was saying to me. I couldn’t take it any longer. I came with a loud moan, struggling to catch my breath. A few minutes later he was coming inside of me. I felt a little drip down my leg.

He just held me and I could hear his breathing getting closer to normal.

Eventually, I dropped my legs, my bare feet hitting the carpeted floor. He pulled away and I was left with my body still tingling.

“I think I had better go, before I drag you into the bedroom for round two.” He said smiling.

I had all these thoughts running through my head yet none of them made it out. I simply just nodded in agreement. I was afraid that I would open my mouth and insist on a “round two”.

He fastened his pants and walked over to his coat. I finally moved and followed him to the door. He opened it and stepped out letting in the cool fall air. He turned and kissed me softly on the lips.
