Now it was he who got the gentle smack on the leg. “And you actually believed that creep?”

“He said things about Vance’s and my private discussions. There is no way he could have known that information unless Vance told him,” Patrick argued, feebly.

Shit, when Becca put things that way, he was beginning to want to kick his own ass. He already knew that he couldn’t trust the bastard, and Patrick may have just played right into the bastard’s trap.

Lane ran his hands over his face. “Ross was more than a bastard, he was downright evil. Vance and I have found out that he was doing a lot more than just skimming money. He’d been forcing some of the newer, younger models to have sex with him, even going as far as to blackmail them.

He told them that if they didn’t do what he wanted, he’d send DVD’s to their parents, so they could know exactly what their sons have been up to.”

“Did he do that to Mark?” Patrick demanded angrily.

Lane gave a sad shake of his head. “Not yet.”
“He probably would’ve done it too because he’s supporting his siblings,” Patrick said.

“That’s so sad,” Becca said.

When they all shot her looks of shock, she glowered back. “What? Just because I’m a bitch, it doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings.”

Oliver nervously cleared his throat. “Have you guys looked around to see if Ross had the place bugged? That could explain how he knew about Patrick’s and Vance’s conversation.”

Lane had a thoughtful expression. “I never thought about it, but it makes sense. Ross was paranoid as hell about his secrets coming out. I could see him doing something that drastic.”

A knock sounded on the door, making them all jump in surprise.

“It must be the pizza,” Ronnie surmised.

Becca shook her head. “No, they said a half hour and it’s only been a few minutes.”

Shrugging at the others, Patrick got up to answer it. He was doubly shocked to see a messenger standing there.

“Is there a Patrick Martin here?” the guy asked.

“Yeah, that’s me.”

The man thrust a pad into his hand. “I have a package for you. You need to sign for it.”

After Patrick did as instructed, a brown-papered package was handed to him. Patrick shut the door and went to rejoin the others.
“What is it?” Oliver asked.

“I don’t know,” Patrick replied as he gazed down at the box.

Becca gave an irritated sound. “So, open it already.”

Pulling off the outer packaging, he revealed a box from a high-end candy shop. Becca let out a squeal. “Oh, chocolate. I want a piece.”

Since Patrick didn’t want to hear her whine, he opened the chocolates only to find that somebody had tucked in a large envelope amongst the candy.

He pulled it out before handing the box over to Becca.

“What is it?” she asked, her voice mumbled because of her full-mouth.

“It’s from Vance. He wrote on it that it’s for me only and that it’s his way of proving that he trusts me.”

“What does he mean?” Ronnie asked, reaching for some of the candy.

“I have no…” Patrick stopped as something clicked into place. “Oh my god. He told me that the reason he never filmed a scene was because he couldn’t trust that it would get into the wrong hands.”

“So, are you saying he did a scene for you?”

Oliver gapped.

They all turned to look at Lane. The man held his hands up. “It wasn’t with me, I swear. It
wasn’t with any of the other guys, either. Since Ross left, I’ve taken over all scheduling, so I would know.”

They all thought that one over before Becca let out a horrified squeak. “Oh, shit. My uncle made a jackoff video for you. Ewwww…ewwww…

ewwww. Don’t you dare watch it out here!”

As if Patrick would share with anybody. He smiled down at the package, as a rush of happiness filled him. “I’ll be right back. I need to go to my room for a bit.”

Chapter Ten

atrick slammed his bedroom door behind P him. He rushed over and slid the disk in the DVD player. He snatched up the remote and settled on his bed. Pressing the play button he waited to watch his movie.

“I wish I had popcorn,” he muttered.

When Vance showed up on the screen Patrick no longer needed snacks. He had everything he desired before him.

The film quality was excellent as expected from a man who made film for a living.

Vance sat in a leather chair fully dressed. “I want you to know I love you Patrick. I know I don’t say those words often or even ever but I do.”

Patrick’s heart contracted. Vance had never said those words before.

“I love you too,” he whispered to the screen, his eyes watering. This act of trust made Patrick smile.

“Although I’ve made dozens of videos, I’ve never made one myself so forgive me if this lacks a good plot or dialogue.”

Vance stripped off his shirt and tossed it aside.

He unzipped his pants and pulled out his cock.

Patrick smiled to see Vance had gone commando.
He didn’t even have to change his usual wardrobe for the scene. Somehow that made the entire situation sexier. As if this was an event that could really happen.

His eyes glued to the screen, Patrick slipped a hand into his pajamas, stroking himself to hardness. With the eye candy before him, he didn’t need to use much persuasion to bring his erection to life.

“Whenever I jack off these days, I’m always thinking of you,” Vance said on the recording. “I can’t touch my cock without dreaming of you.”

Patrick licked his lips as Vance’s big hand wrapped around his shaft.

“Oh, yeah.” It certainly wasn’t the most professional jackoff scene he’d ever seen but it definitely ranked as the sexiest.

Vance grabbed a bottle of slick from the side table beside him. He poured a stream across his palm. Then wrapped his hand back around his own cock. Patrick’s mouth watered when he saw the drop of liquid bead on the tip.

He wished Vance were there in person he longed to taste, to lick to swallow down his lover’s length.

A soft whimper went up his throat as he could almost feel the thick hardness filling his throat.

“That’s it baby, imagine me right there. Imagine sucking me off or me slamming into you and
giving you a nice hard ride.”

Patrick’s imagination had him clenching his butt cheeks, imagining holding his lover inside.

Damn he missed Vance even if he’d thought they were over, not being next to him carved a hole inside of Patrick as if he were a hollow man and needed Vance to fill him physically and emotionally.

Watching Vance put himself on film to prove his devotion to Patrick made him jolt with excitement.

“You really do love me,” he whispered to the screen.

“This is for you baby,” Vance pumped his cock a few more times before he spurted across his hand.

Patrick quickly followed after.

Grabbing a t-shirt off the floor Patrick wiped his hand and his stomach then tossed it back on the floor. It was way past time to do laundry.

“If you still want me. Give me a call.” The recording shut off.

Patrick zipped up his pants. He grabbed the air freshener off the shelf and sprayed the room. His friends might suspect what he was doing but he didn’t need to stink up the apartment.

With a click of the button he turned off the television. He popped the DVD out and stuck it in his top drawer, so neither of his roommates would
accidentally-on-purpose steal his movie.

Not that he didn’t trust his roommates, but a man couldn’t live with two other gay men without them occasionally stealing one’s porn.

Once he considered himself presentable, he went back to the living room.

“Hey how was your porn?” Ronnie asked with a cheery smile.

“It was excellent,” Patrick said with a blush.

“Eww,” Becca wrinkled her nose. “I don’t want to know.”

“Is your uncle still at the studio?”

Becca shook her head. “He went home.”

“Oh.” Patrick didn’t know what to do now.

“I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if you go see him,”

Becca prodded.

Patrick shrugged. He didn’t want to admit he didn’t know Vance’s address.

“Oh for cripe’s sake!” She pulled a pad of paper out of her bag and a crystal encrusted pen. Writing quickly she jotted out a note and tore a page away.

He accepted the paper handed over to him.

Glancing down he saw an address written on top.

“That’s where he is. Now go get him, tiger!” she announced.

Insecurities rose up to grab Patrick by the throat. “A-are you sure he won’t mind?”

“I think he’d mind more if you didn’t show up,” Becca’s eyes narrowed as if she were
assessing Patrick’s intentions.

Patrick looked at all the hopeful faces watching him. “Okay. I’ll go.”

He needed to go and see Vance. To find out what Vance truly felt for him. Patrick grabbed his jacket and his keys.

“Tell uncle I won’t be home until later, much later,” Becca said with a smirk curving her painted lips.

“Will do.” Patrick didn’t even try to hide how much he liked that news.

* * * *

Vance sat in his living room drinking Scotch. He hoped Patrick watched his DVD and didn’t just chuck it in the garbage. His hand shook slightly as he worried about how his life would turn out if he didn’t get his boy back.

Patrick might not forgive him if he didn’t believe Vance trusted him. Vance wiggled uncomfortably at the thought of Patrick viewing Vance’s scene in front of everyone else. He hoped Patrick would keep it to himself.

The doorbell drew him out of his reverie. Becca wouldn’t ring the bell.

Patrick
.

Rushing to the door, Vance ripped it open. His pretty boy stood in the doorway looking a bit lost.
“Come inside,” Vance said waving a hand for Patrick to enter.

Patrick nodded and followed Vance’s gesture.

He paused in the hallway, his eyes taking in the space. “Nice place.”

Vance looked around his place trying to see it from Patrick’s perspective. The modern loft had clean lines and bold colors his interior decorator had recommended.

“I like it. It can be lonely here if Becca isn’t around.”

“Is that why you didn’t invite me over before?”

Patrick asked.

Vance shrugged. “I can’t exactly bring men home if my niece is here. Usually she’s not, but her timing lately has stunk.”

Patrick gave a nervous laugh. “Are you sure you want me here?”

Vance kissed Patrick, wrapping his arms around his lover holding him close. “I don’t even want you to leave.”

Patrick jerked back a little. “I don’t think I’m ready to cohabitate quite yet. I have my friends to take care of.”

“I understand, but nothing says you can’t spend the night from time to time.”

“I…I’d like that,” Patrick admitted.

He cuddled closer to Vance.

“Good,” Vance said pressing a kiss to Patrick’s
forehead. “I’d like that too. How about tonight?”

“Becca will come back later,” Patrick warned.

“How do you know?”

All kinds of warning bells were going off in Vance’s head. It would seem that Patrick and Becca had already met. Since Patrick wouldn’t know to reach out to her, it must have been Vance’s favorite brat who initiated contact. Vance didn’t know if he should strangle her or give her a huge hug.

Patrick gave Vane a crooked smile. “She and her dog showed up at my apartment a couple of hours ago.”

“Do you mind if she stays with your friends for the night?”

“No,” Patrick’s smile, slow and brilliant glowed brighter than the lights. “Oliver and Ronnie may act like they care, but it will be all an act. I can tell they already like her.”

“Can I get Ronnie’s number?”

Patrick handed over his phone. “It’s speed dial two.”

Vance dialed Ronnie and after a short conversation he disconnected with a smile on his face.

“The place is ours.”

“Does Becca usually live with you?”

“No. Her mother died when she was young.

She usually lives with her grandmother in
Chicago. Unfortunately, she’s good a persuading me to send her a ticket and doesn’t give me much warning.”

“Well maybe we can get her to work on her giving notice,” Patrick said.

Vance laughed. “Maybe.” He had doubts Becca would ever learn any manners but she might decide to show some courtesy if she liked Patrick.

“Although she did mention that she didn’t want to leave here anytime soon. I’m sorry to say that she claims to like us.” Patrick said.

“God help us all,” Vance replied, without any real vehemence.

It wouldn’t be bad having her around for good.

Sure she may drive him crazy at times, but he sensed that she needed him and, as always, Vance would be there for her.

Patrick turned a lovely shade of red. “I liked your DVD.”

“Did you now,” Vance said.

“Yes, I watched it in my room, so the others couldn’t see,” Patrick admitted.

Vance let out a relieved sigh. That answered one question. “I want us to date.”

Patrick tilted his head as if Vance was talking in code and Patrick had trouble deciphering it.

“What do you mean?”

“I want us to go out. See movies that don’t contain porn, eat at nice restaurants, and at the
end of the night have my lover go to bed with me.” Vance replied.

“I’d like that, too.” Patrick said. The light in his eyes told Vance his lover enjoyed the thought of them sharing their lives as much as Vance did.
