They switched places again and once his eyes were closed and his head fully under the water she carefully got down on his knees and took his still soft penis in her mouth.

He spluttered, dragged the water out of his eyes and looked down on her. “You don’t have to …”

She muttered something that might have been ‘shut up’ and sucked hard. His power of speech vanished and he buried both hands in her hair. It only took a few minutes for him to get hard in her mouth and she pulled away, pausing to kiss the tip before standing up.

Smiling she said, “Ready when you are.”

He slid her back until she was pressed against the slick siding of the tub. With one foot on the edge he carefully lifted her so she could wrap her legs around his waist. He lowered her onto his cock, his hands under her ass, and kissed her deeply.

Their movements were slower this time, careful, both aware of his precarious footing. But softer wasn’t bad and their wet skin slid so nicely against each other’s. They fell into a gentle rhythm; her head leaned back against the wall and his forehead resting high on her chest. Feeling daring he arched her closer to him and kissed her breasts again.

“Oh, god, I’m going to lose it again.”

He just smiled and teased her nipple with his tongue. She must not have come all the way down from her last climax because this one came quickly, though much softer than before. Her back went straight and she moaned loud and long, then her head drooped against his shoulder and she became dead weight in his arms.

“I have to put you down,” he said, letting her slide slowly to the floor.

“But you haven’t …”

“Turn around, tippy-toes,” he instructed.

Feeling dazed she did as she was told and he squatted until he was the right height for her. He slid into her and pressed his chest against her back, grabbing her breasts with both hands. He took his time fucking her as she rested against the tub surround, moaning whenever he hit a sweet spot.

She was wet and warm and right now she was all his and he was going to enjoy every inch of her before he let her go again. He continued this way until the water started to drop in temperature and she had regained some of her alertness then he picked up speed until she was moaning again.

Too soon he was over the edge and he filled her with a groan. After a moment he pulled away from her and swore.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, breathless.

“We didn’t use a condom.” He cursed again.

She chuckled. “It’s fine, it won’t be a problem, I promise.”

“I didn’t even ask.”

“You gave me the chance to stop you.”

He nodded.

“It was damn good sex, Tyler.”

“It must have been. I’ve never had a woman equate me with god before. And you’ve done it twice.”

They grinned at each other and then a strange high-pitched tune drifted over the sound of the shower. “Do you hear that?”

“What? Oh shit, my phone. This is important.”

“You go ahead. I’ll wash up and be out in a moment.”

He nodded, kissed her quick, and leapt from the shower, grabbing a towel on his way out into the hotel room. Megan stayed right where she was for a full count of ten, then, hoping her legs would finally support her on their own, she stepped under the spray.

She washed her hair and rinsed away the sweat and rain and sex. Tyler’s voice was just a murmur beyond the water and the door but it was strangely reassuring. “It’s just a fling,” she muttered, but she knew she was lying to herself even more than she was lying to him.

“It’s not lying; he never asked what I did for a living.” Still, the guilt weighed on her and that alone told her that her feelings were getting involved in what should have been a simple fling.
First jealousy that some blonde bimbo had flirted with Tyler, before I was sleeping with him, now guilt because he hasn’t even asked about my job and I’m choosing to stay quiet? Yup, I’m definitely too involved.

She turned off the water and Tyler’s voice became much clearer. For the most part it was simply background noise as she grabbed a towel and debated whether she had time for more sex before heading home for the evening.

Tyler’s words became sharper. “No, Stephanie, it wasn’t a mistake. Yes, it will really cost that much. They’re worth it.” He paced away from the bathroom door again.

Stephanie? And what’s expensive?

“No I’m not coming home early, I’m sure you’re handling it all just fine. All right, I owe you one. A big one, yes. All right, I’ll see you eleven days. Good-bye Stephanie.”

With a pounding heart Megan stepped out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel, feeling very self-conscious. “Is everything okay?”

“Fine, just some complications at work.” He wrapped an arm around her. “I like the way you look in a towel.”

Megan couldn’t ask any more questions without admitting that she’d been eavesdropping, or that she cared enough to be suspicious, so she smiled and put the phone call as far out of her mind as possible. “Do you really think it suits me?”

He kissed her, a tender kiss that left her breathless. “You’re beautiful.”

They had a casual dinner in his hotel room – turkey club sandwiches with side salads and a bottle of white wine that was too fancy for their meal – both dressed in nothing but bathrobes. She told him amusing stories about the hotel that her father had come home with and was surprised by his genuine interest. He told her stories from his college days that made her laugh so hard wine came out her nose.

“So, since you’ve successfully gotten me into bed, does that mean I’ll be spared the cheesy pick-up lines?”

He grinned. “I know a great way to burn off the calories from that sandwich you just ate.”

She rolled her eyes. “Now I get suggestive pick-up lines instead. Great. Where do you get all these?”

“Remember all those guys in my frat house? They got slapped a lot for using pick-up lines and I got to laugh at them. I never thought I’d ever use them.”

“At least not without getting slapped?”

He nodded and poured them each another glass of wine.

“Hey, I need to drive home yet!”

He arched his eyebrows at her. “We have to finish the wine, you know. We can keep each other company until you can drive again.”

“Another pick-up line?”

“No, an honest attempt to get a pretty girl into bed again.”

“Do you have a dishonest back-up plan?”

“Yeah. I hid your clothes while you were in the shower.”

She looked sharply around the room and sure enough her clothes were nowhere to be seen. She sighed. “You’ve got me.” She drained the glass in one go. “Take me to bed!”

It was late by the time Megan drove back to her parent’s house. After dinner she and Tyler had crawled back into bed for sex, and afterwards had snuggled and talked for a long time. Just before the kitchen closed for the night they had ordered dessert and had sat in bathrobes enjoying the pie and coffee. Finally Tyler had reluctantly retrieved her clothes, which he’d wisely scattered throughout the room when he’d hid them and after many long, lingering good-night kisses she had left.

She’d gone back right after breakfast the next morning and went up without a word to the desk clerk. She knocked on the door but there was no answer. Worried that he might have gone down for breakfast, or worse that he was on the phone with this Stephanie again, she knocked once more, louder.

There was a shuffling and a thump and then the sound of footsteps and a muttered. “Fine, I’m coming.”

A bleary-eyed, bed ruffled, Tyler opened the door and stared at Megan for a long moment. She smiled, gave a little shrug of her shoulders and said, “I just had to come over and talk to you. Sweetness is my weakness.”

“Do you know how early it is?” He seemed more tired than upset.

“I couldn’t stay away.”

The sleep seemed to melt off him and he smiled. “Good.”

She took the offered hand and followed him back to his bed.

After morning sex, which was quick and fun and fully satisfying, and an uneventful shared shower, Megan said, “What do you feel like doing today?”

“We could stay in.”

“We did that most of yesterday,” she laughed.

“You weren’t complaining then.”

“You’re good in bed, Tyler, but even you need a break sometime.”

“They’re called meals.” When she only laughed he said, “We could hit the pool.”

“I didn’t bring my bikini.”

“Is that a problem?”

She arched an eyebrow. “Well, if you have no problem with me flashing every guest in the hotel then I guess it’s not a problem. Let’s go.” She started towards the door and he caught her arm with a growl and pinned her against a wall.

“Not a chance, Megan.”

She grinned. “Feeling possessive today?”

He kissed her hard enough to make her head spin.

“Fine, no skinny dipping in the hotel pool. What do you want to do today?”

He released her but didn’t step away. “You have the car so you pick. Surprise me.”

“I don’t know what you like.” When he gave her a smug grin she said, “We’re not staying in all day and the strip show at the sleazy bar doesn’t start until late tonight.”

“Strip show? Why would I pay to watch some girl tease me with her fake boobs when I have a gorgeous and very real woman ready to crawl into bed with me?”

She laughed. “Alright, point taken. I’m sure I can find something for us to do. Come on.”

She took him to the local heritage museum, a small collection of local art and artifacts dating back to the early 1900s housed in an ancient, though beautifully restored, farm house. Once, early in her big city career she had brought a friend back to Kingsbridge on one of her visits. The art gallery and museum had not gone over well on that trip so she was surprised at how many questions Tyler was asking and how long he stood around chatting with the older gentleman who was in checking the condition of the old farm tools.

“You know,” she said as they walked out, arm-in-arm, “You could pass for a country bumpkin.”
