Nefarious MC #1 - Nobody's Ol Lady (20 page)

“Right now that makes Kelly more or less in charge of the dancers tonight. I don’t want her pushing Willie around just because she thinks she can, I already told her that but you know how these chicks work. Kelly knows Willie isn’t property and you know or should know how that goes with these chicks. That fucking pecking order bullshit can get downright mean. I’ve got Moose watching Kelly to make sure she doesn’t pull it.”

Black Dog nodded wishing more and more he hadn’t ever gotten Willie involved with being a dancer. He motioned Tina over for another drink. It was going to be a long night, and he hoped to hell it was a quiet one.

W
illie arrived and went backstage to change with Black Dog. She was undecided on what to wear, and nervously chewing on a fingernail. Black Dog thought she looked adorable but knew she had to make a choice.

“Wear the red one for me, babe. I love you in red ‘cause you look hot as hell. If anyone yells anything to you, don’t say a goddamn thing to ‘em. You’re up there on the stage to dance, look sexy, and smile. I don’t wanna get into any fights over you unless somebody insults you. If that happens we’ve got it handled.” He handed her the two pieces of the red sequined costume, and sat down on a chair watching as she dressed.

He wondered what chicks thought as they danced, and decided to ask her. “Willie, what do you think about when you’re up there dancing?”

“What do I think of? Well, I’m always praying my costume stays on, I don’t fall on my ass, and I hope I’m going to please everyone, and make money. I dance, and I think of you, because you’re magical to me, BD. What else would I think of?” Willie looked at him with concern.

“I said no BD in public! I don’t know… maybe cocks, I ain’t no chick strutting her stuff.” Black Dog had an attitude and it was showing.

Willie felt her temper boiling. “Sorry! I thought we were alone in this room. Why would I think of cocks when I have yours to look forward to? Black Dog, what is it with you tonight?”

He had his knife out, and was cutting away any loose threads on his jeans and colors he could find. “I don’t know, I don’t think I like you dancin’. You’re too good for this.”

“I need the money, and I’m the same as anyone else. Hey, have you ever wondered how flies know what a fly swatter is? That has been puzzling me for years.  You get the fly swatter out and they just know what it is. You ever wonder about that?” She was trying to make light of his attitude.

Willie was fully dressed and ready to hit the stage as Black Dog laughed. “You’re the teacher baby; you should know the answer to that.”

“I
am
an
art
teacher, not a science teacher so no I don’t know the answer nor do I know if butterflies shit, that has crossed my mind too.” She tried to hide her smile.

“Baby, are you still making your jewelry and painting? I haven’t seen you doing too much lately.” Black Dog was concerned Willie might be abandoning her art for dancing and hanging out with him.

“Black Dog, I do a little here and there. I still want to paint you nude though. We could start tonight!” She rolled her eyes and gave him a wink and a giggle.

“Willie, you have to go pick your music, you crazy chick. Come on, and remember, baby, those eyes better be on me. I’ll be watching you. As for paintin’ me, you have any paints we can use as body paint?” Black Dog was serious as he grabbed her hand and led her out the bar area.

M
ad Jack and Dee were sitting at a table watching Willie dance and she was doing a fine job of it.  Both were holding hands and talking about Deidra getting his ink. Looking around the bar, Dee spotted a blonde haired woman snapping pictures of Willie.

“Jack, are pictures allowed to be taken of the dancers? I just saw a blonde chick taking some of Willie.” She was looking around for the woman but she had disappeared.

“Oh hell no, we don’t allow that! A blonde huh, it must be Roberta, damn it. Sit tight, I’ll be right back.” He hurried over to Black Dog and told him what Dee had seen. Swiper joined them and Mad Jack and Swiper started to look for the blonde but came up empty handed.

Black Dog watched Willie carefully, her set was almost over and he made a decision. “We won’t tell Willie. She doesn’t need to worry and I’ll go over to see Roberta at her store tomorrow. This shit is gonna end, Jackie boy, make sure Dee doesn’t say a word to Willie. Maybe we both should talk to that skank. You seem to have the in with your dad being her landlord.”

Mad Jack had a huge grin on his face. “No problem, bro. We could bring over Sleazy; I bet that would make Roberta shudder. He can ask her for a blowjob too.” They all had a laugh about bringing the dirtiest biker in the club to Roberta’s pristine clean store. “Dee and I are going to head out. You’re good with that Dog? We’ll stay if you aren’t.”

“It’s all good, I got Swiper here and it seems to be a quiet night. If it’s this slow I’ll get Willie off early, take her for a ride and go to the diner. Go be with your ol lady bro, and thanks.”

Mad Dog and Dee walked out into the night hand in hands, both thinking how great life was.

W
illie was taking off her as Black Dog called it her angel costume. The night had been slow and Darko had told them Willie could leave. She was hungry and honestly glad to be leaving.

“Do you want to go the diner babe? I’m pretty hungry.” Black Dog was planning to talk more about her issues and thought the diner was a great place to do it. Willie wouldn’t get upset in public.

“You read my mind, BD! I’m starving. Can we go to Circle diner? I love that place and rarely go there.” Willie was excited. Diner fries with gravy were a favorite of hers. Or fries piled high with cheese and bacon crumbles.

Black Dog nodded and left her to get her boots on while he informed a few bros that they’d all be going to the diner and to sit away from Willie and him. The diner late at night was a favorite place of many clubs and this diner was right near where they thought the Filthy Fiends were hiding out.

Willie stashed her costumes in Darko’s office and they left on the bikes. She really loved riding at night with the different scents and the moon over head. It didn’t take long to arrive at the diner and she didn’t question Black Dog why they had their own table. She was glad they did because the other bikers were drunk and loud.

It seemed that Black Dog had a passion for fries too, so they decided to share orders of both fries. The waitress took their order and they held hands across the table. Willie saw his hands were banged up in places. She wondered if it was from fighting but didn’t ask.

Black Dog had seen her glancing at his hands and decided he’d tell her about himself a little. “I noticed you were looking at my hands. Bet you figured they’re banged up from fighting. Some of it yeah, but I’m part owner of an auto body shop. I went partners with Darko and one day I’ll buy him out. I decided when I met you, to finally take some vacation time. Usually I don’t bother; I’d rather be making sure the shop is running smoothly. I want to make something of my life Willie and not through selling drugs. I’m not into that shit and Darko doesn’t push it on me. Two more weeks and I’ll be going back to work. When does school start for you?”

Willie looked startled, “It starts September tenth. I hope Darko will let me dance weekends, I still have so many bills to pay.”

“He will. He likes you, baby. You bring in good money, you’re new and fresh, and you’re damn a good dancer. You’re beautiful, Willie. I have no doubt you’ll end up a featured dancer soon. Now tell me about when you were in college.” Black Dog was determined to get to know Willie better.

Willie pulled her hand away and sat looking out the window. “I thought college was going to be great. I graduated at seventeen and couldn’t wait to get out of that house. One thing I didn’t count on was that one of Roberta’s friends named Althea was going to school there. She made life hell for me and I’m sure she stole my student identification, my senior year. We look oddly alike—almost like we could be sisters. I look more like her then I look like Roberta or Teddy.

“Anyway, things got worse at home during my last year. I didn’t bother coming home for the holidays, not even Christmas. It was like I wasn’t wanted. They told me not come home actually. So I guess from there, everything just got worse with my family.

“My dad was threatening to sell Picasso and thank God my doctor leased him from me. Funny, she is Althea’s mother. She was always such a nice lady to me. She is my gynecologist by the way. I love her, she was so good to me when she came up to visit her daughter, she brought me pictures of the horses and when her daughter ran away from college, she still came up to visit me. She told me not to worry about the baby fat when she found out I was barely eating. She also came to see me graduate too.

“My dad didn’t and I had to beg my mother to come. Teddy came though and we had a great time until my mother and Roberta showed up. I think Dr. Rayne had something to do with me getting my job so easily too. I heard her husband had a stroke last month. I should go see them, they are really good people. Too bad they got stuck with Althea—she was always a nasty girl, even to her parents.
