Nasty (18 page)

He had totally forgotten he had a quarterly meeting with the
New York chapter of Teens for Abstinence. As their vice president, it was his job to run the meeting and to stress the importance of their organization’s mission statement: It was okay to remain a virgin and wait for marriage.

Confused about his loyalties and responsibilities, Jonathan did not know what to do. He had vowed to stay away from Nicola. The last time with her was supposed to be the last time. Jonathan even had a legitimate reason to ignore her request. His group needed him.

And then it happened. Nicola’s face flashed through his mind and he could literally feel her tongue licking his shaft up and down. Never giving the needs of the organization a second thought, Jonathan text messaged the club secretary to let her know he was unable to attend the meeting. Proceed without him. There was no way he could turn down another visit with Nicola. The group was on their own.

Not wanting to carry any extra gear, the basketball star threw his gym bag into a locker. He slammed the door shut, making sure the padlock was secure. He rushed out of the gym, forgetting that his cell phone was inside the bag.

Twenty minutes later, Jonathan’s long legs led him through Nicola’s front gate. She opened the door on the second ring, wearing an outfit so revealing and seductive that he almost ran all the way back home. He could not handle being alone in the same room with this woman; not when she had chosen to wear a revealing halter top and Daisy Duke shorts that exposed half her ass.

Captured by her erotic spell, Jonathan followed Nicola into her home. He parked any thoughts of resisting her seduction or remaining loyal to Carlos at her front door. He walked in a willing and eager beneficiary of whatever mischief Nicola had planned for him.

CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

O
phelia shot a quick look at the clock. She was late for her visit with Eli. Quickly rummaging through her refrigerator, she pulled out veggies for soup. Even though he only tolerated small sips of the liquid high-calorie shakes his doctors prescribed for him, she was still going to prepare a nice Saturday brunch for them.

Ophelia had visited Eli almost every day that week. She knew there was no fear she’d do something stupid like fall for him again nor did she intend to become his personal nursemaid. After all, he sure didn’t take care of Tarik or her when he had his health.

If anything, he’d tried his best to put them through hell and back. Ophelia didn’t owe Eli Griffith shit. Thinking about Eli’s ugly past made her blood curdle. She almost picked up the phone to cancel the whole day with him.

Instead, she reminded herself that she was a trained nurse; the head of an AIDS nursing program. Every day she and her staff helped countless of clients who were strangers. Regardless of their social history, she made sure they received the best of care. Why should she deny Eli? She was not giving him special attention. She often went into the field to help a patient. It helped break the monotony of the administrative aspect of her job.

As she primped in front of the mirror, preparing to visit Eli, taking more care than usual with her appearance, the truth stared back at her. She had to admit that she’d never been happier. Spending time with Eli had been just what she needed to lift her spirits. She never regretted it. Without the drugs and without a future ahead, the two squeezed the most they could out of the present they now shared. She so enjoyed their visits that she was almost oblivious to the devastating toll his illness was taking on him.

Today she had another reason to visit with Eli. She had had a disturbing dream about Jonathan. She needed to get his advice about what to do. She respected his opinion. For all his years of living at the edge of hell, wisdom had finally rewarded him with a unique perspective about the human condition. Unfortunately, it came too late to save him from the ravages of drug addiction or the AIDS that now drained the life out of him.

It was a gorgeous sunny day to visit the Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn. Ophelia convinced Eli that it would be no trouble to pack his wheelchair in her car and drive out there. Eli was happy that he’d agreed to the plan. There was so much beauty there. The orchids were in full bloom. Each one more beautiful and more exotic than the next. Too weak to walk on his own, Ophelia pushed his wheelchair as they viewed the different themed gardens.

When they stopped under the fragrant magnolia trees to have lunch, Ophelia complained about the ominous feelings she was harboring.

“I don’t know what to tell the boy; these are the times I wish Pops was still around.” Upset about Jonathan, she got up from the bench and paced back and forth.

“Tell Jonathan the truth. Tell him to stay away from the woman. From what you tell me, he’s a bright boy. He’ll figure it out.”

Eli looked at Ophelia as if he was watching a dream. He could never have hoped to be this near to her. He never thought she would be talking to him; sharing her problems with him. In the last week, she’d met with him every day. She’d brought him soup or whatever little doo-dad she thought would cheer him up.

Eli celebrated the peace they shared. He could tell her anything…and did. In turn, she’d literally dumped every detail of her life since they parted on his shoulders. It was wonderful. It was sheer bliss. Feeling blessed, Eli knew he would spend an eternity praising the Lord. The only thing he yearned for, but dared not ask for, was a meeting with Tarik.

“Why don’t you just calm down, Ofee-poo.”

Ophelia stopped pacing and playfully shook her finger in Eli’s face. “Nobody has called me Ofee-poo in decades, and don’t you go starting that back up. I don’t even want Tarik to hear that. He’ll never let me live it down.” She realized she had gone too far. She had forgotten that Eli was the last person Tarik wanted to see. She did not want him to have false hopes.

But that didn’t bother Eli. He just laughed at her. Ophelia looked at him. The disease had literally wasted away all his facial muscles. Every day there seemed to be less and less of him to see. He was evaporating right in front of her. It depressed her so much that she stopped looking at his bony frame and just stared into his warm eyes. They still had so much life in them.

“Anyway, Ofee-poo, call him up and speak to him. Call him right now, if you feel it’s that urgent, or wait ’til this evening. Whatever you do, don’t worry yourself to death.”

Ophelia had to agree with him. Anxiety was eating her inside
out. But she couldn’t help it. She had awakened that morning with a maternal sick-feeling-in-the-gut sensation, and she knew it had to do with Jonathan and that Nicola person. It was so hard for her to talk to him. Since he had joined that abstinence group, she felt there was no need to counsel him about safe sex. He had already figured it all out, as far as she was concerned.

But around Nicola? That she-witch? A woman with a twisted sense of values? She could still see how Nicola had shamelessly poured herself all over Jonathan’s private parts at the concert. Originally, she thought it was her eyes playing tricks on her. But when she caught Nicola on the bed with Tarik at the after-party, she knew what the bitch was capable of.

Nicola was indeed a beautiful temptress. Of that, there was no doubt. Her baby’s morals and ethics were undergoing a challenge and temptation that few young men could resist.

Eli was right. She was going to talk to him now, or at least schedule a time when they both could calmly discuss, “the birds, the bees and nasty women like Nicola.” She pulled her cell phone out of her bag and called. There was no response. It disturbed her, that she couldn’t reach him. She left a message. That sick feeling in the bottom of her stomach got just a little stronger.

“Eli, I can’t reach him. What am I going to do?”

“Ophelia, baby, he’s okay. Don’t worry; the vice president of Teens for… What were they advocating again?”

“Abstinence; my boy believes in it.”

“Like I said, Jonathan’s a pretty strong cat and he can handle himself. Now, let’s go see those begonias.”

Pushing his wheelchair through the gardens, she thought about his advice and realized that old shriveled-up Eli had a damn good point. Jonathan was a good kid. He had a pure heart. In a month, her baby was going away to college. He had turned
eighteen a few months ago. He was a man now. She didn’t have to worry about him and women.

Regardless of all his shining qualities, or the fact that he was no longer her little boy, Ophelia knew she would have the talk with him that evening; even if she had to track him down all over New York City.

CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

C
ome on in, Jonathan.” As if sensing his disapproval, she added, “Excuse this outfit, but central air-conditioning is not quite up to par today, and well, I get easily overheated.”

She shot a sultry glance in Jonathan’s direction, to see if the effect of her outfit and attitude had any impact. The beads of sweat beginning to form over his brow were all the confirmation she needed.

Jonathan also felt the heat. But, it wasn’t because of a faulty cooling system. Nicola escorted him upstairs. “Hope you don’t mind, but the only room where the AC is working, is in the guest bedroom.”

Jonathan’s mind was moving fast and going nowhere at the same instant. Would he mind being in the same bedroom with Nicola? Of course not.

“Nicola, whatever you think is best. It is kind of warm in here.”

Nervous, he wiped the perspiration off his forehead. He silently prayed that his antiperspirant worked. Unsure, he wondered if he had even remembered to put any on. Poor Jonathan. He was a bag of worry. A whole bag of worry and hopefulness that Nicola would repeat her performance and suck his dick as dry as a bone.

He tried his best to ignore the queen-sized, four-poster bed, lusciously decorated with a red satin comforter and matching pillows. He instead focused on the walls and window treatments. Nicola had decorated the guest room to pay homage to Black Hollywood, past and present.

Adorning her stylishly painted walls were giant, framed posters promoting classic movies like
Sounder
,
Shaft
and Spike Lee’s phenomenal
She’s Gotta Have It
. Still nervous with hopeful expectation, Jonathan fidgeted with the cute cinema knick-knacks displayed on the night table and the armoire. “Nicola, this room is great.”

“It’s my favorite room, Jonathan. Sometimes I jump on this bed and imagine that I’m one of the great divas of the screen.”

With that, Nicola slithered on the bed in almost serpentine fashion, locking eyes with the young basketball star all the way. She lay on her stomach, supported by her elbows. Her breasts, barely covered by the skimpy halter, swung in a mesmerizing, pendulous fashion.

Jonathan’s eyes followed the swing of the arc her breasts made. He was totally under her spell. There were no thoughts of Carlos, the teen group, or anything else on the planet. He knew he was not leaving the room the same way he came in.

Nicola motioned for him to join her on the bed. “Come on over. You look so hot over there, and it’s so much cooler here.”

She pulled back the spread, revealing matching satin sheets. Nervous, he swallowed hard and sat on the edge of the bed. Feeling quite uncomfortable, and not knowing what to do next, he thought it best to proceed with their intended agenda. “Well, uh…uh…Nicola, it’s awfully nice that you want to give Carlos a party. I mean, he would really like it.”

Nicola interrupted him. “You mean, like you would like this?”
She peeled off her shorts, revealing a bare bottom. She spread her legs wide eagle and stroked the inside of her thighs.

Jonathan gasped. He had never seen a woman nude in the flesh. It was so much better than in the videos. Ashamed of his response, he jumped up from the bed and turned his back to her.

“I’m sorry…sorry, Nicola…I don’t know if I should see you like this, I mean. I’m sure Carlos wouldn’t want this.”

“Tell me, how many people are in this room right now?”

“Just, uh…me and you?”

“I want you to imagine that it’s the end of the world and we’re the last two survivors.” In her sultriest, sexiest voice, she beckoned, “That could be the case right this second. We
are
the last people on Earth right now. Uh-huh. And what if we only had a few moments left? What do you think we should do, Jonathan, with only a few minutes left on Earth? Hmmm?”

Like a child accepts a nursery tale as gospel truth, Jonathan suspended all other beliefs. He and Nicola were
indeed
the last ones on the planet.

Nicola pulled him back onto the bed. “That’s right, sweet-heart. It’s just you and me.”

“Yeah, you and me, Nicola.”

She rolled him over onto his back, and removed his clothes in a gentle but hurried fashion. When she peeled off his drawers, his cock sprang to attention.

“The last hard dick I’ll ever see.” She licked it, and closed her eyes as if in prayer. “Jonathan, thank you. Thank you for spending these last moments with me.”

She pulled off her halter, freeing 38 double-D breasts. Like a child in a toy store, Jonathan reached out to fondle them. Nicola guided his hands to her nipples. Not knowing any better, he squeezed them hard. She winced. “OH…baby, just roll them
back and forth, with your fingers; it gives me such pleasure.”

Jonathan, an eager student, did as she instructed. She exhaled with pleasure. “Ooooh, that’s good, Jonathan. Now, just lick them with your tongue. Remember it’s the last time for us.”

As he’d seen in videos, Jonathan tried to give her tits the best licking she’d ever had. He wanted her to feel good, on this, their last night together on the planet. He licked one nipple, while twirling the other one with his fingers.

“Jonathan, I’m getting so wet inside.”

Confused, Jonathan pulled back. “I’m sorry…I thought.”

She pulled his hands close to her breasts. “No…no…I’m getting sticky wet inside ’cause I like what you’re doing. See…” She lay back on the bed, never letting him go. She led his hands between her legs, and guided his fingers gently inside her treasure vault.
