My Billionaire Stranger (24 page)

“Please…” I manage. He squats down in front of me with his crutches leaning on either side of me against the gate. He maneuvers his broken leg so it’s bent at the knee the other one supporting his entire weight. Instinctually my hands move to help him but he shakes his head no, he’s in total control so I put them back. One leg draped over his shoulder he trails kisses along the inside of my thigh until he arrives at the spot where I’m on fire for him. He moves my thong aside and buries his face between my legs, taking my breath away. He circles my clit with his tongue expertly alternating the motion with long soft licks. I gasp and white-knuckle the gate until he brings me close to passing out from the overwhelming pleasure of it all. Suddenly the cool weather is more than welcome; my skin is blazing under his touch. My hips thrust into Marcus’s face and I jerk against the gate, rattling it noisily with not one thought of knocking him off of his vicariously balanced foot. I am so close to losing it when suddenly he pulls away and stands on that one good foot. I instantly mourn the absence of his mouth on me.

The world around us no longer exists.  Everything around us falls away leaving just the two of us, no garden, no house, and no staff watching us, no ocean or gate, just Marcus and I. Taking my face in his hands he bends until our eyes meet. Eyes locked with mine let’s go of me to unbuckle his belt and free his stone-hard cock from his pants.  Between my legs again he slides his length along my folds teasing my core mercilessly.

“You want this inside of you baby?” he says, holding my hips with both hands for balance. I nod two quick nods in the affirmative and he enters me with such force that the gate rattles loudly echoing through the garden. My feet are momentarily lifted off the ground from the force of his thrust. I moan and hold on tight as he slams into me over and over. Groaning with every thrust the gate clangs as he covers my mouth with his. I can taste myself on him, salty like the ocean. “I have no fucking control with you Imani, I want to take my time but once I’m inside…the fucking animal in me takes over.” He says claiming my mouth so that we are joined together in every way that two people can physically be. I’m getting so damn close and Marcus senses it, he digs his fingers under my ass tilting me just slightly until he’s repeatedly hitting that sweet spot inside of me that causes me to burst open, spilling out my orgasm in fits of spasms as I hold my breath. I tighten around him until he follows with a loud groan. Gasping and gulping in air until we return slowly to reality.

“You can let go now,” He whispers in my ear, a drop of sweat running down the side of his face onto mine.

“Oh..” I hadn’t realized I still had a death grip on the iron bars of the gate, when I let go my hands tingle with the return of blood flow.

“I wanted to tie you to this gate, blindfolded, when I first saw you in that hospital room, dressed in those fuck-me high-heeled boots and that tiny skirt, it was the first thought I had,” he growls.

“Well that’s funny, the first thought I had of you when you woke up was ‘what a psycho’!!”  Marcus throws his head back and roars with laughter.  I’ve never seen him let loose quite this way. His smile lights up his entire face, tiny crow’s feet crinkle on the outside of his sharp green and lavender rimmed eyes. It fills me up with more love than I ever thought was possible. “Sometimes that smart mouth of yours goes on hiatus and I miss it!”

“Same goes for that smile of yours,” I say. He hugs me tight against his chest giving me a chaste kiss on the forehead before sliding out of me and pulling my dress back down to a much more descent length. He tucks his shirt back into his pants and grabs his crutches leaning heavily on them. “You really shouldn’t be messing around off of your crutches,” I remind him.

“Are you complaining Ms. Jefferson?” he says, raising his eyebrows in mock question. “Of course not Mr. Castillo, but as a nurse I’m just informing you that standing on one foot and exerting that kind of energy isn’t good for your casted leg.”

“Well then, tell the nurse that she’s fired and you can be my girlfriend, who is fully satisfied with that stunning performance of strength.”  “Cocky much?” I ask

“Love it much?” he retorts and I have to laugh. “Yes, very much so.”

“All right then, nurse Imani’s officially gone, girlfriend Imani is absolutely satisfied.” I wink at him and he smiles at me. I link my arm though his elbow and we walk slowly back to the house.

Chapter 31

I head to my room while Marcus returns to his office to finish working, convinced that he has fucked the worry out of me. I guess I’m on my own again. On my night table I find a purple sheet of notepaper propped against my iPad. It reads
Listen to me.
Adele, “Make You Feel My Love”, it’s set to one single song. I press play and lay down on my back, staring at the canopy of gauze over the bed. As Adele’s lyrics wash over me, tears fill my eyes and spill over running down my face   to pool in my ears. I look over to my bear propped against the pillows of the bed I grab her up, hugging her to my chest while I listen. God, this man knows how to love me, he doesn’t have to make me feel his love, I already do. I love him with every breath I take. I will never be able to absorb enough of him into my system, especially if he continues to do sweet things like this. And why? Why does he feel the need to convince me of his love? Maybe it’s the short time we’ve been together that brings out insecurity in him, we have only know each other a little over a month. The only thing I’m insecure about is the possibility of Marcus losing his damned mind and vanishing from my life; it’s a thought that haunts me always. I have no idea how long I lay there listening to that song on repeat but when I open my eyes it’s dark outside and I’m positioned in the bed correctly, head on my pillow with a throw over my legs. Still holding the teddy bear, I feel a little like a child that’s been tucked in for an afternoon nap. I roll over and examine her more closely; those diamond eyes stare back at me. I wonder… shit, are those…. couldn’t be…but I think they are. Real diamonds, as in a couple carats each and the 2-inch wide collar around her neck is covered with tiny diamonds too. Could those be? I turn her over to see if a tag or brand is sewn into a seam, nothing. Gears start turning, my curiosity is peaked; how could I find out where this thing came from and if those are real diamonds? What am I going to do if I find out they are? Why is he giving me gifts like this?

Oh well hell, I don’t know why I keep trying to figure him out. Google it, may as well.  After a few searches I come across a company that sells custom made teddy bears that resemble mine, and they offer several gem stones for eyes, but not diamonds. Well that’s probably the place, from the look of the other merchandise it’s obvious they’re capable of making anything happen for a price. Am I reading too much into this? I wonder what the bear giver is up to right now. He must have checked on me earlier, I can’t believe he moved me; I must have been more tired than I realized.  My thoughts drift to the garden earlier today, I can still feel the cold gate on my bare ass and Marcus’s hot body pressed up against mine, another erotic memory to add to my quickly developing collection. In just a few short weeks Marcus has taken my body to places I never knew existed. How could this happen to me, Imani Jefferson, formerly resigned to growing old in a house full of cats? Only this intricate string of events could have led me to this place. In love with this man who is manically hard working, obsessively organized and neat, more beautiful than a Greek god, desperately lacking in manners, cocky beyond belief, generous to a fault, injured, vulnerable, and billionaire wealthy. He’s an audacious lover capable of fully satisfying needs that I didn’t even know I had.  And contrary to popular opinion he is loving…limitlessly loving.

Lost in my thoughts, I don’t hear him approaching until he’s at the threshold of my open door. “Well good morning beautiful, how was your nap?”

“Mmm, good, I can’t believe you covered me up, I don’t even remember you coming in.”  His face clouds with confusion.

“I was not in here Imani, you must have covered yourself,”

“No…I don’t think so, this blanket wasn’t on the bed and I fell asleep on the edge, listening to your song. Thank you by the way, it was beautiful,” I smile, but his mind is elsewhere.

“What’s the matter?”

“I want to know who was in here, touching you. I have not given anyone authorization to enter your room.” A muscle twitches in his jaw and his knuckles whiten around the handles of his crutches. He’s in full dominant control freak mode right now and it’s kind of frightening. “Come with me,” he says sternly and I immediately realize something bad is going on here. I climb off the bed and follow him through the house to his office. Motioning his hand over an invisible sensor on the wall a door slides open behind his desk. I hadn’t noticed this door before it’s totally camouflaged. I curiously glance around as we pass into a cold unfriendly room filled with computer monitors. This room is not just a run of the mill security room it’s got an entire wall of monitors each one focusing on a different room in the house, the grounds, garages, bathrooms,
garden,
oh my God the garden. At the center of the room with a view of every monitor is a ostentatious leather chair for whoever mans this elaborate ship. “What…what is this?”

“I told you I have very good security, I want to look back through the video to see who was in your room with you,” I watch with anticipation as he grabs a huge tablet-like remote and perches on the edge of the captain’s chair with the grace of a man not hampered by crutches. I quietly move to his side as he maneuvers the video to different monitors until my room comes into view on the large center screen. It’s eery seeing myself in the position I fell asleep in lying on my back, feet dangling off the edge of the bed. Suddenly a small figure appears in the room standing next to the bed dressed all in black with a hoodie pulled up close around the face it’s impossible to see a face.

A panicked breath fills my lungs and Marcus stiffens in the seat next to me. I rest my hand on the tightly wound muscles of his shoulder and lean forward to see better as he forwards through the video. The person stands next to me for a very long time before disappearing for a moment and returning with the blanket I found covering me when I woke up a few minutes ago. Gently the disguised figure positions my legs onto the bed, tucks a pillow under my head, and covers me up before stepping away. That’s when I see it, at the same time as Marcus; a knife glimmers in the intruders left hand, a
huge
knife!! What the fuck was that for? And who the fuck
is
this person?

Marcus roars Mr. Black’s name as he launches himself out of the chair, moving at a pace I’m sure no person ever has while on crutches. I follow on his heels quietly, he’s angry and scared enough for the both of us. So much for letting him worry about everything. Yea, like
that
is ever going to happen now, some insane person  was in the house, in my room, touching me and they had a fucking hunting knife in their hand! I’ll be worrying all by myself now, a lot…. no doubt about that! Mr. Black comes rushing down the stairs, meeting us in the foyer with a panicked look on his face.

“What is it Sir?”

“Someone was in my fucking house that’s what!!” he yells, his voice echoing off the walls of the nearly empty foyer.

“Sir?” Mr. Black questions.

“Fuck Saint, you’re supposed to be in charge of security, how the fuck did someone get in here, someone was in Imani’s room, touching her, and they had a fucking hunting KNIFE!”

For the first time since I’ve me him Mr. Black looks shaken, flustered and embarrassed. So he’s head of security huh? I want to tell him he’s doing a bang up job of that, but Marcus is teetering on the edge of his sanity and that would surely send him over. Marcus is standing nearly nose-to-nose with the stuffy Mr. Black, every muscle in his body shaking, surely having an adrenaline rush. I’m more than scared he might hurt him; he could clock him with a crutch easily, or worse. I’ve never seen any person as angry as Marcus is right now.

“Mr. Castillo I had no idea we had an intruder, all alarms are set, cameras are all running,  a guard is at the front gate and Nick was on monitoring!”

“Nick? Where the hell is he, certainly not in the fucking monitoring room I’ll tell you that! I’m gonna fucking kill him when I get my hands on him!”

Shit, maybe this is what everyone around Marcus is used to but not me, I need to get him calmed down before he blows that brain tumor all over the foyer. “Um…hey…?”

He swings around wildly, eyes flashing a bit of psycho; I get a glimpse of a man I don’t know, at all. “I think we should all calm down just a little bit, and by ‘we’ I mean you.” Choking out those few words is extremely difficult, I feel like I’m in foreign territory, dealing with an enemy instead of my protector, he’s scaring me and he realizes it when he hears the fear in my voice. I step back out of his reach and he transforms before my eyes. Marcus’s face changes from warrior/terrorist to warm and compassionate. The tables are turned now and he speaks to me like the jumper on the ledge.

“Baby I am so sorry, I did not mean to frighten you, please don’t shrink away from me, come here.”

Hesitantly I moved to him, heart thrumming. The Marcus I know would never hurt me, but I’m not sure the man I just witnessed was
my
Marcus. Wrapping his arm around me I’m pulled in tight against his chest while he puts on a show of calm and control but I can feel him vibrating against me, he’s still crazy mad and probably extremely volatile. He kisses me on the top of my head and turns back to Mr. Black, who is standing with his mouth hanging open, beads of sweat across his dark, baldhead.

“Find. Nick. Put this place on high alert, nobody in, nobody out, I want someone walking the perimeter of the property, no make that two people, turn on the night vision cameras and lock it up,” Marcus speaks through clenched teeth, holding it together will everything he has.

“Yes sir,” is all I hear, and Mr. Black is gone. “I need to view the video some more, come with me, I don’t want you out of my sight.”

“Ok.” I agree, although I’m not thrilled about the idea of watching any more of that video, it freaks me out, and Marcus’s reaction freaks me out even more. Crossing him right now isn’t an option and frankly I’m kind of afraid to be alone anyway. Back in the secret monitoring room, we go through the rest of the video, following the dark figure through the house but never able to actually see where he or she enters and exits. The intruder knows the floor plan of the house, no way could she have eluded the cameras the way she did without that knowledge and even then it seems like it would be impossible.

“Fuck! I can’t see where she came from or where the hell she got out. Who would want to do this, and why did she have that knife if she wasn’t going to use it?”

“She? You think it’s a woman too?” I had been thinking the same thing, the person is so small and graceful it’s hard to imagine them being a man. “Yes, she can’t weigh more than a hundred pounds and I saw a reflection in the mirror where a little bit of hair was hanging out the front of her hood, no face just the hair.” “Marcus maybe she hadn’t planned on using the knife   on me.” I don’t have any enemies, other than the insane men who tortured me so long ago; I’ve never met a person I didn’t instantly get along with. Surely nobody is after me. Marcus however is another story; I don’t think I’ve met anybody who likes him yet. I put some space between us again, leaning with my butt propped against a small desk at his side.

“You’re right, she could have been searching for me and found you by accident,” he says, voice laden with guilt while maneuvering the pictures around, attempting to get just the right angle to study her movements.

“It could be a small man you know, not a woman,” I offer,  I don’t think it’s smart to rule anybody out at this point. “

“Mmm, no, it’s a woman, see her hands, and the way she moves, I’m sure it’s a woman.” The memory of the woman outside Dominus in the parking lot flashes across my mind. “Marcus.” I say

“Yea.” he answers absentmindedly, but when I don’t respond he looks up. “My God Imani, what is it, you’re white as a ghost!” He starts to get up but I push off and go to him first. “Could it be… maybe…. the woman from the parking lot?” Pulling me into his lap, he flips a switch shutting off all of the screens.

“I am so sorry baby, you’re scared and I’m not helping.” Setting the control pad aside he wraps me in a tight embrace. Shit I’m trembling so hard I may just topple out of his lap. It’s all hitting me at once now, I’m more rattled then I realized. This situation has brought me back to that tiny house where I was chained to the ceiling for days, bleeding and horrified. After years of therapy I’ve been able to calm myself in stressful situations, but not this time, before I know it I’m bawling into his shoulder, grabbing at him like a drowning woman desperately reaching for a life raft in the middle of the ocean.

“Shhh, shhh, honey I’m right here, and I will not leave your side until we find this woman, never, not for one single second. I will get her, whoever she is, don’t spend one more second thinking about her, please don’t cry baby.” I know he’s trying to comfort me but I’m not sure it’s even plausible right now. The past couple of days have been weird and stressful, and a woman tucking me into bed while holding a hunting knife is the last straw.

“I want to go home,” I repeat over and over, as my mind shuts down and those five words are the only thing I have to  hold onto. He continues to stroke his hand up and down my spine while smoothing my hair away from my face with his other, shushing me again and again. I’m unable to focus on my environment, fainting is a coping mechanism, and I know. I started doing it ten years ago when I was attacked but it hasn’t happened for years, not until I met Marcus that is.  He is speaking to someone, I can’t make out the words and then I surrender and allow the darkness to consume me.
