Love Over Envy: BWWM Pregnancy Romance Novel (20 page)

Craig rolled over next to Victoria on the bed. He didn’t want to be the kind of guy to sleep with a woman and then dash away in the middle of the night. Victoria rolled over with a big smile on her face. She was beyond satisfied, and not just because she’d had the best orgasms of her life.

“Craig, I have something to confess. You just took my virginity,” Victoria said. Craig couldn’t believe it. It had never crossed his mind that Victoria hadn’t slept with anyone before. After all, she had given him quite the impression that she was a party girl. And she had sucked his cock within a few minutes of knowing him. Doesn’t really seem like the kind of behavior the Virgin would present with.

“Really?” Craig asked.

“Mhmm,” Victoria mumbled. A part of her couldn’t really believe it either. This wasn’t how she had pictured “losing it”. She was the last one of her friends by a mile. Somehow, this still felt perfect. Craig was talented and he was
incredibly
hot. She held still for a moment. Craig inhaled the smell of her hair. It was some fruity shampoo. Delicious. Victoria kissed him on the cheek and then nuzzled in his arms.

“Don’t take this the wrong way, but I find that hard to believe,” Craig replied.

For once, Victoria didn’t respond with her usually sassy attitude. It wasn’t much of an insult. After all, she was twenty five and she
had
given him a blowjob upon first meeting him.
Passionate relationships begin passionately, I guess.
Instead, Victoria opened up to him. Victoria told Craig about her rough past.

Going to school with mostly white people, she had the worst of luck when it came to finding dates. Most of her crushes were racist and told her that she wasn’t pretty enough. Someone told her she was too dark. Someone tell her that her hair was too black. Victoria had spent most of her life truly believing that she was ugly. Not only did her peers do a number on her self-esteem, but her parents nitpicking about her body only exacerbated that effect.

Craig was surprised. Yet again, he had unlocked another layer of depth to Victoria. He thought she was beautiful. It had never occurred to him that so many people would be trying to tear down. After she finished confessing her painful past him, he pulled her close and kissed her on the forehead, whispering into her ear, “You’re beautiful. You are beautiful.”
