He pulled out and flipped onto his back. Pam didn’t have to be asked or told what to do. No matter how boneless she felt she moved as fast as she could to straddle him and sink down on the beast that was destroying the very idea of sex for her.

Before Nate, Pam thought she was getting it as good as she could get it. Luca had been an excellent lover but this…Nate was a master of sex. He was right he was owning her in every sense of the word. As she slid down on to his long cock she had to draw in a deep breath and release it slow.

Once fully seated Pamela knew she was not going to let this giant of a man show her up. She wanted to own him just as thoroughly. Throwing her head back Pam placed her hands on Nate’s stomach and adjusted to plant her feet on the mattress and proceeded to bounce and ride Nate for all she was worth.

“Pam,” Nate groaned. Sitting up he grabbed her ass cheeks and held her still as he thrusted up from beneath taking all control back. “Look at me,” Nate grunted. “Look in my face while I fuck you, Baby. I want no mistakes on who is giving you the best dick you ever had.”

“Trust me Nate, I know,” Pam purred and bit her lip as she locked eyes with Nate and stared right into his soul. In that moment it became more than just sex to both of them. On some deeper level they both knew something more was happening here, something neither of them were ready to look too deeply at or to give voice to.

Pam fused her lips to Nate’s needing to taste him and hide the feelings that were coursing through her veins. This was just to make her forget. She would not catch feelings. Catching feelings is what got her into the mess she was in.

Luca would come for her. He may have told her about his engagement but it wasn’t because he wanted to end things. He said he just wanted her to know the truth. He would be meeting his bride for the first time. He didn’t want Pamela to go without knowing it wasn’t love that would be leading him into marriage.

Nate broke the kiss and trapped her nipple in his mouth and bit down. “Stay with me, Baby. Me! That’s the only man you ever need to think of. You hear me Pam,” Nate Snarled.

“Yes Daddy, yes,” Pam cried out as she climaxed again.

This time Nate didn’t hold back he came hard right along with her. He bellowed her name riding out his pleasure, as the woman he was having all types of unsettling feelings for shuttered in his arms and looked up at him with admiration. It was a look he never thought he would see on her face, but now that it was there it tapped at his heart asking for entry.

It was a vulnerable look that Nate cherished because he knew not many received a glimpse of it. The girl inside this woman was staring up at him asking for love, comfort and protection. Nate recognized the look for what it was. Although some part of him told him to turn and run there was a larger part that stood up inside and demanded he claim her for his to protect.

Nate kissed her forehead softly as her lids drooped. “Get as much rest as you can, while you can. It’s going to be a long night,” he murmured in her ear before pulling from her body and placing her on the bed.

Nate got up to go to the bathroom to get rid of the condom and get a cloth to clean Pam as well. At least that was the plan. Once in the bathroom Nate found a shredded condom wrapping his length. Cursing under his breath he removed the condom and looked at it in disbelief.

He groaned internally. Since he’d made his first few millions of his own money he had always been careful about his encounters and checking condoms after sex. One could never be too careful, but this was on him. He had provided the condom tonight and it looked like it had been through a shredder. Nate frowned. It was odd, not what a broken condom should look like in his mind.

He pushed that thought aside as he thought about the woman lying in the next room. Now that the alcohol and the insane thoughts of erasing another man from her mind and body were no longer clouding his mind he knew he should have been more cautious. Pamela had reason to be skittish he knew she would not make this easy for him after tonight.

No matter. He had no regrets. He would be keeping an eye out for the situation this condom could cause. Meanwhile he would have to be clear about pursuing her. He had every intention of pursuing Pamela. A smile formed on his lips. If she is carrying his child after tonight she’d just have to submit sooner rather than later, because she would submit one way or another.

ate woke to an insistent buzzing. His head was throbbing and his chest was warm with extra weight. His mind cleared a little as his hand reached out for the phone and he squinted at it. He groaned as he saw the time and that it was Sam calling. He looked down to see the weight on his chest was a sleeping Pamela. He smiled to himself as images of round after round flashed in his head. She had been as insatiable as he had.

Sighing he answered the phone. “Nathan here, talk to me.”

“So I hear you had company last night. Camille has been giving my wife an ear full,” Sam chuckled into the phone.

“I used to like Camille. Tell her she is ruining that,” Nate chuckled back.

“I’ll let her know, but right now I wanted to let you know that you better get a move on. We took the first car out but you Marcus and Pamela better get moving if you don’t want to be left behind. Bobby and Paige are running behind, which is to be expected. They have brought you guys some time but not much,” Sam offered.

“Thanks man we’ll be there in a few,” Nate said before ending the call.

“What time is it,” Pam groaned as she held her head and slowly sat up.

“Time to get a move on it,” Nate replied sitting up and kissing her on the lips.

Pam’s eyes popped open wide and she stared at Nate then looked down at her naked body and then Nate’s. Nate’s cock twitched under her gaze. Pam covered her face and groaned.

“It wasn’t a dream was it,” Pam moaned out. “Wait, don’t answer that. My thighs and my yum-yum feel like I was attacked by the Hulk.”

“Your yum-yum?” Nate laughed.

“Oh come on you know it was delicious,” Pam teased with a small smile.

“Yeah Baby, it was,” Nate said and tugged her in to nuzzle her neck. “And I do remember you calling me the Hulk a few times last night.”

“Nate, about last night, I was in a bad place. I like you but I don’t think I’m ready for more than –,” Pam paused and bit her lip. She didn’t know what she wanted.

Last night was amazing and more than what she needed. In truth she wouldn’t mind going another round despite how sore she was at the moment. However, sex with Nate wasn’t just sex. He’d rattled something in her last night and she wanted to put distance between herself and the feelings she planned to leave right here in this bedroom.

“I thought you would feel that way this morning,” Nate frowned. He leaned forward and looked her in the eyes. “I’ll give you two weeks to get your shit together Pamela. That means settling into Paige’s old place. Getting your business affairs in order and figuring out that last night was not a one night stand. I’m not your ex. So you take these two weeks to clear that up in your head as well, but when those two weeks are over. I. Am. Coming. For. You.”

With that Nate stood up in all his naked glory and strolled toward the bathroom. “We need to get going. If you want a shower you can share one with me,” Nate called over his shoulder.

Pamela sat on the bed stunned staring at his perfect ass and chiseled back. She was sure she just came. Part of her was turned on and the other part wanted to know who the hell he thought he was. The last thing she needed was another entitled man thinking he owned her. She was going to have enough on her hands when Luca realized she moved out of their place in London.

“Shit,” Pam muttered and jumped from the bed to collect her things. She rushed to dress and then peeked her head out of Nate’s bedroom door to see if anyone was in the hall. It was pretty quiet so she ran to her room to get showered and dressed.

After a quick shower Pam dressed in a grey maxi dress and red open toe four inch booties. She swiped her hair back into a messy bun and smiled as she thought about Nate pulling her hair up last night. She shook her head to clear it; she had to stop thinking about him.

Pamela zipped up the last of her things and flung the door to her room open to drag her bags out. Nate was standing on the other side of the door looking sexy as sin. He had on a pair of very well fitting blue jeans and a white button up that was loose at the top three buttons, showing off that smooth chocolate chest of his.

Pamela realized she was just standing there staring when Nate chuckled and raised a brow at her. “Let’s go Tinker Bell,” Nate laughed.

“Whatever Hulk,” she muttered and stepped aside as Nate retrieved her bags.

“I’ll get these in the car and then I can go looking for Marcus,” Nate informed her.

Pam stayed silent. Her mind had a million things going on. As she pulled out her phone she saw she had a million more missed calls from Uri. She knew she would have to call him soon. He didn’t deserve to be put in the middle of things and she was sure he was genuinely worried about her.

Losing Uri as a friend would be the worst part of this break up. Pamela was just starting to realize just how much she learned to count on him as a friend and a protector. She wished she had his shoulder to cry on now but he had to know about his cousin’s engagement. She knew he would only try to convince her to give Luca another chance, making excuses for him.

Pam sent a text to Uri that assured him she was fine and she would call soon before shutting off her phone. When she looked up from her phone Nate was walking back in the house and his eyes were locked on her. Pam pulled her shades from her bag and tossed them on to try not to get caught in his intense stare.
What have I gotten myself into?
She thought with a sigh.

Luckily, as Nate made his way toward her Marcus came crashing into the foyer running right into Nate. Nate recovered quickly and looked at Marcus. “Great I was just going to come searching for you,” Nate sighed. “Everyone else has already left. We’ll be following them.”

Pamela looked anywhere but at the two of them. She didn’t want anyone to know what they had been up to. As she thought about the wild night of passion she wondered if anyone had heard her cries of ecstasy coming from Nate’s room. The thought made her cheeks burn hot. She tried to ignore them both. “Is it just the three of us?” Marcus asked.

“Yup, we’re the only three that over slept. Well from what I hear Bobby and Paige are running late from their villa but that was to be expected. If we get a move on maybe we won’t be the last ones to arrive,” Nathan chuckled.

Pam made sure to make her way to the very back of the SUV on the way to the plane. She was wishing that she’d declined her sister’s offer and just flown to New York on a commercial flight. She needed space from Nate and her jumbled thoughts and emotions.

When they arrived at the hanger Marcus rushed from the car like his butt was on fire. Pamela wrinkled her brows at him as she watched him go. She’d been watching him the whole ride and he seemed anxious.

Pam’s thoughts wandered to her new friend Rita. Rita was a lucky girl to once have the attention and affection of a man like Marcus. Pamela hadn’t gotten to know him like she had everyone else, but from the way everyone talked about him and the way she had seen him look at Rita, Pam knew he had cared for her deeply. Pam hoped things would work out for Rita.

Soon they were all on board the plane. Nate made sure to take the seat right next to Pamela, so much for space. Pam was in her thoughts when Marcus had an outburst that brought her back to the present.

Pamela found the whole exchange humorous, especially Nate’s reaction to finding out that Marcus was actually seeing his sister. Something about his concern for his sister warmed her heart and turned her on, but she was going to ignore those feelings. They were something she just didn’t need right now.

Seeing Marcus slowly put together the pieces of what was really going on between him and Rita was way more amusing. She could feel the tension rolling off of Nate as he sat next to her. She couldn’t hold back from poking the bear.

“At least someone understands brotherly love,” Nate grunted.

“Oh give it a rest Hulk,” Pam snickered.

“I’ll show you a Hulk,” Nathan leaned to whisper in Pam’s ear.

Pamela felt the shiver that ran down her spine as his warm breath fanned her skin. She slid her glasses down her nose and looked him in the eyes. Nathan gave her a cocky smile and she rolled her eyes as she clenched her thighs and turned away. The sooner she got away from this man the better.

Chapter Seven

T
wo weeks, it’s been two whole weeks. A lot can happen in two weeks. Nate knew this from experience. He spent his last two weeks helping to put out fires. First was dealing with the press because of Bobby and Paige’s wedding and the photos that were leaked. Even after they held the press release cameras and reporters seemed to show up everywhere.

Then there was the task of dealing with security for both Minnie and James’ move into their new home. Not to mention Bobby and Paige’s move into the family estate. James wanted things settled quickly and that is exactly what he got. Next on Nate’s plate was distributing new assignments and details within the family. Lastly, his time was devoted to helping his father and James help clean up the mess Marcus had unwittingly gotten himself into.

To top it all off he had deals of his own still on the table. He had to find time to look at proposals that would allow him to unload a few ventures for lucrative profits. However, it had now been two weeks and he had other important things that needed his full attention.

Nate did as he’d given his word to. He gave Pamela the time he promised. That stopped now. Pam’s time had run out for a few reasons and Nate wasn’t about to let his word fall short. If he made a promise it was happening and his words to Pamela the morning after he claimed her were just that, a promise.

Nate had been pissed to find out that the Luca Pamela had mentioned was none other than Luca Donati, of the Donati family. Although this fact would not detour him from claiming Pam as his own, he was just going to have one more task on his plate. This task was to protect what was his.

The Briggs and Donati families were on neutral if not friendly terms but Nate knew the possessive nature of the men in the family. Nate chided himself on not picking up on the names Luca and Uri right away but it seemed when it came to Pam he was finding himself distracted.

That stopped now though. Too much was in his hands and he needed to have focus, so one of the first things he needed to do was let his woman know where she belonged. He had to do this because he refused to let another day go by with her running through his mind and through his blood.

His body ached for Pam. His thoughts kept going to the fact that she could be carrying his child even as he made his way to the condo she now called home. Nate had to fight everyday not to show up at her place and show her why she was already his. He told himself he would just have to settle for the reports he was receiving from one of his team.

Nate didn’t feel guilty at all that he had stationed an around the clock detail to Pamela since the day they returned to New York. Justin had done a full background check on Pamela and that was when Nate started to put the pieces together. His woman was seriously on the run. It surprised him that she would run into plain sight.

Chicago and New York were Luca’s stomping grounds. Once he figured out that Pam was here it would be easy to track her down and he would figure out where she was. It was what Uri did. Find people that needed to be found. Nate knew that Uri was as good at his job as Nate was at his own. Thus his woman would continue to have round the clock surveillance.

Nate got lucky finding a spot and parked his SUV stepping out smoothing his suit and straightening his tie. He looked up at the brownstone before him. Paige’s place was in a nice neighborhood and her condo was one of the newly renovated spaces that were in high demand. As he scanned the block he noted that the brownstone next to Paige’s had a for sale sign. He considered it for a moment but pushed the thought a side.

When he got his way they would be moving to the Briggs compound. Pamela would be able to let her sister get a return on her investment by renting. Nate had no intentions of living apart from Pamela for long. He hadn’t even thought about club Desire since returning from the island. He’d received a couple of email invitations from Luscious but he didn’t have the time or the inclination to join her at the club.

Nate made his way to the door and rang the doorbell. He could hear the music playing from within. It put a smirk on his face. When Pamela opened the door his smile went from a smirk to a smoldering full out sexy smile, showing off his full lips and white teeth as his chocolate eyes lit up.

Pamela looked sexy as sin in a skin tight pair of skinny jeans and an off the shoulder yellow sweater. Her hair was loose around her face and shoulders. Her feet were bare giving her a sexy relaxed and comfortable look.

Pam opened the door with a huge smile on her face expecting to find her sister standing on the other side. Her smile fell when she came face to face with the one man she couldn’t get out of her thoughts. She mentally did the math and was not shocked to find that it had been exactly two weeks. Two weeks she had also tried not to think about or countdown to.

“Aw shit,” Pam grumbled under her breath as Nate’s cologne and massive presence engulfed her. Her panties were not listening to her brain that was trying to tell her body not to react to him. Neither were her nipples that were now straining against the thin fabric of her sweater.

“Watch your mouth little one,” Nate said with a sexy smile.

“Screw you, giant. What do you want? Why are you here?” Pam said as she placed her hands on her hips.

She didn’t need this. There was a big part of her that was more than happy to see Nate but she already had enough on her plate. Uri had been insistent on her calling him. When she did you could just say the shit hit the fan. The last thing Pam wanted was to pull Nate into her drama.

She may give him crap but she really did think he was a decent guy. She just needed to protect herself and her heart. Besides she wasn’t sure that New York would be home for too long after all. Luca was losing his damn mind right now and he would lose it even more if he knew she was right under his nose. Uri promised to keep that fact to himself for as long as he could. Pam was grateful for that.

“We both know why I am here and we both know that you are what I want. As far as screwing me, we can do that later. Bobby and Paige will be here soon,” Nate’s eyes roamed over her body. “Don’t you think you should change for dinner?”

“Ugh, you drive me crazy,” Pam growled. “Wait, I’m supposed to be having dinner with my sister. She didn’t say anything about you or Bobby.”

“Are you going to let me in Pam,” Nate tilted his head at her giving that panty melting smile of his.

“No,” Pam said just above a whisper as she fell into a trance within his brown eyes.
Are those green flake
s, she thought as she chewed on her lip and watched his eyes sparkle back at her.

Nate moved in closer and cupped her face. “Maybe I should greet you properly and then you will be more receptive,” Nate said before leaning down to capture her lips before she could protest.

The moment his lips touched Pamela’s she lost all fight. She couldn’t even remember why she wanted to fight. He smelled and taste so good. His mouth tasted like a combination of mint and citrus.

As his tongue plunged in and out of her mouth she whimpered with the need to get closer to him. As if reading her mind Nate grabbed her hips and lifted her up into him. He stepped over the threshold and kicked the door closed with his expensive shoes.

It had not been lost on Pam how good he looked in his sexy gray tailor made suit. It fit the man like a glove hugging all the right places. His crisp white shirt made it seem like his chocolate brown skin was glowing against it. The silk black tie around his neck gave him a distinguished look.

Pam had wanted to wrap her hand around his tie and pull him straight to her bedroom the moment she saw him. It wasn’t looking like such a bad idea now as Nate pinned her to the wall and started to kiss down her neck and shoulder. Pam wrapped her legs around his waist holding on to his head as she threw her head back. She loved the feel of his silky waves under her hands.

Nate was making his way to her breasts when the front door opened and Bobby and Paige stepped through the door. Pam drew in a sharp breath as her eyes flew open wide and her cheeks warmed. She saw her sister standing there with a stunned look on her face and Bobby stood behind her with a sly smile on his lips.

“Oh my God,” Pam gasped as she pushed at Nate’s chest, dropping her feet back to the floor.

Nate just smiled down at her and pecked her on the lips. “Go get ready we have reservations for six,” Nate said smoothly.

Pam folded her arms across her chest. “I never said I was going to dinner with you,” she snapped.

“Actually, it was my idea,” Paige said with a small smile. “Bobby told me that he and Nate were meeting up so I thought we could all just go out to get a bite together and then you and I could come back here and hang out.”

“Next time ask me first,” Pam hissed at her sister and then felt bad as she saw the tears swimming in Paige’s eyes.
Shoot I have to remember she’s pregnant
, Pam thought and sighed. Her sister was so sensitive lately. This was going to take some getting used to. “Fine, don’t worry about it Paige. I just need to change and I’ll be right out. You guys help yourselves to whatever.”

“I’ll come with you,” Paige said with a beaming smile.

Pam rolled her eyes she knew her sister just wanted the scoop on what was going on with Nate. Paige leaned up on her toes to kiss Bobby on the cheek and then followed her sister to what used to be her old room. She winked at Nate as she passed him and he gave her a mischievous smile. Paige loved the idea of her sister dating Nate.

He was a great guy and she had really enjoyed getting to know him in the last few weeks. He had been there for her on the island and she would never forget that. Paige also loved the way Nate was always there for Bobby. He had been around for the move and whenever Bobby called him up for even the smallest thing Nate had shown up at the house.

Nate was also great with his own family. Something Paige had learned since moving into the mansion and being neighbors with Nate’s family. She didn’t think her sister could find a better match. She’d noticed before the way the two of them looked at each other. Camille had been hinting around about the two but now Paige was sure she was going to corner Camille about what she really knew if her sister didn’t start to spill.

As they stepped into the bedroom and Pamela made her way to the closet Paige pushed the door closed and made her way to sit on the bed. Her hand unconsciously moved to her barely there baby bump. With a smile on her lips she watched her twin as Pam nervously rummage through her clothes.

“Okay Pam, I have let a lot slide because I have just been so happy to have you around but don’t think I haven’t noticed something is really off with you,” Paige pressed her lips in thought. “And I know it is not just whatever is going on with you and Nate. Don’t waste either of our time lying to me either.”

Pamela sighed and rested her head against the clothes hanging in front of her. “I messed up, P,” Pam started. Pamela turned and moved to sit next to Paige. “I haven’t been truthful about not seeing anyone. I just didn’t know how to explain my relationship to mom and dad, so I thought it would be better to pretend I was too busy to see anyone. I guess I should have known something wasn’t right when I had to hide the fact that I was in a relationship. I guess I always knew something was off.”

“Wait, let me get this right. You were seeing someone in London,” Paige said with furrowed brows. She was a little hurt her sister hadn’t shared this fact with her. She knew they had drifted apart a little but this stung.

Pamela turned to face her and looked her in the eyes. “It’s complicated. I know I tease you about being picky and prudish but I understand why you have been the way you are. I know what happened with Eric so I get it. I talk a good one but I haven’t had much more experience than you.”

Pamela blushed and then laughed. “Well in some ways I don’t have more experience than you,” she licked her lips and wiggled her brows.

“You’re just nasty you little freak,” Paige laughed.

“Hey, I bet your husband is thanking me for all the tricks I taught you with those popsicles and bananas,” Pam laughed.

“Oh my gosh, you are so crazy,” Paige laughed. “But yeah, if I ever told him you taught me what I know you may end up with a new car or two.”

“Girl I have some new tricks when you’re ready,” Pam beamed.

“Pammy, I know what you’re doing. Come on, what happened with this guy. I know it’s not good,” Paige sighed returning to a serious expression.

Pamela wiped the single tear away and shrugged. “He was engaged. The whole time we were together he knew he was going to marry someone else and he never told me. It’s supposed to be an arranged marriage but he’s known all this time. I feel so stupid. I left. He bought me a flat that we shared. After he dropped that bomb on me I left. I knew he would be back and I know that he is going to keep searching for me until he finds me but I couldn’t stay there with all that humiliation. I’m nobody’s side chick.”

“Oh Pam, I had no idea, but wait where does Nate fit into all of this,” Paige asked in confusion.

“I’m an idiot,” Pam groaned and fell back against the bed. “I got drunk the night of your wedding and he found me out on the beach crying about my stupidity. You know how he is,” Pam flailed her hands about. “He is so easy to just open up to. I spilled everything and I sort of mentioned I wish I could make it all go away. You know erase Luca’s touch.”
