Just Her Luck (88 page)

“Sorry.” Reeve didn’t sound sorry at all, continuing to nibble a fiery path down my neck.

“We could always eat out tonight,” Bo suggested, pressing himself up against my front, “Send Thatcher, Ephraim and the kids to go pick it up.”

I tugged him towards me, and he nipped my lips, moaning quietly when I grinned against his lips, my fingers tracing the waist band of his pants.

“Pizza sound good?” I murmured between drugging kisses.

I glanced over at Reeve to get his thoughts on the subject.

He nodded eagerly.

“Pizza, pervert, yay!”

We all swung around to gape at Thomasine, who was chanting that particular phrase over and over, tossing her crackers up into the air, giggling as they rained down all over her, sprinkling her hair.

Reeve gripped the back of my pants when I would have made a run for it, scooping me up in his arms.

He glanced at Bo.

“I call dibs first and then I’ll come down and we can switch off.”

“You have to give me dibs first next time,” Bo wheedled.

“Deal.”

“I am right here, you know! You two can’t just decide these things without…”

“Don’t squirm, prison bait. You’ll just make it harder on yourself in the end.” He hoisted me up higher and started carting me out of the room.

“Don’t you dare! Reeve! Put me down!”

“Mommy prison bait! Mommy prison bait!” my sweet, innocent little girl laughed, making me stop fighting him to gasp out indignantly.

Reeve looked at me sheepishly, a flush stealing up his neck.

“Uh, I think we should rethink some of our, uh, pet names…” he laughed uncomfortably

I glared him down.

“Ya think?” I muttered.

He stopped when we go to the top of the stairs, setting me down on my feet.

“Well…” he gestured at me, “you sounded like you wanted a choice in the matter. You wanna run and I’ll hunt you down, gremlin, or are you gonna come willingly?”

I elbowed him in the gut and giggled as I ran down the hall.

“Like I’d ever make it that easy for you!” I laughed.

He growled excitedly and gave chase.

“Hey! Be careful with my woman!” Ephraim shouted, his voice barely audible from downstairs as Reeve caught up to me, almost nabbing me up as I laughed hysterically, “I don’t want you breakin’ her or nothin’!”

I grinned at the teasing note in his voice, loving my cow-licked cowboy’s concern for me.

Well, and his concern for
him
.

Tomorrow night is his night.

He’s more or less protecting what he sees as his.

And that is just fine with me.

Tomorrow night I
am
all his.

“Mmmm…”Reeve purred, pinning me down, catching up to me in Bowen’s room, wrestling me out of my clothes and spreading me out across the bed, “Looks like you’re booked up for the night, baby.”

I spread my legs wider, accommodating him, naked and waiting, biting my lip so I didn’t cry out when he went straight for my sex, his tongue sliding across my folds, sucking, nipping, licking, circling my tight bud, lapping up my juices as I creamed all over him.

“Mmmm, hmmm, guess you better make it count then, huh?” I gasped out.

“Guess so,” he grinned, up to the challenge, diving back in, doing that thing he does with his tongue that drives me wild, makes me scream.
