He lifted off her slightly, bracing his weight slightly, and within a second his lips claimed hers again, the kiss firm, demanding, as his fingers traced lower, teasing the sides of her panties. Gasping before his lips pulling from hers slightly, “You’re wet already,” he moaned as her hips bucked up into his touch, then grunting, “So tight, so hot,” before moaning as her hand wrapped around him, his eyes closing as his hips pushed into her touch more.

He suddenly pulled his hand away from her, her hand also slipping from him as he moved to tug at her panties, pulling them hastily from her before going for the drawer and drawing from it what he needed. Before returning to her, placing hot kisses on her lips as his fingers fumbled slightly with the package, causing him to grunt in frustration.

“Anxious some?” she asked when he grunted again his frustration, “This if infuriating.” he grunted before she took it from him, their eyes once again meeting.

“I want you.” he decreed as his hands ran over her body again. Danielle’s eyelids dropped shut as the sensations coursed over her again, his desire, his need so aptly transferred in his touch. “I’m gonna go crazy if I don’t.” he gasped just when she managed to open the small packet, slipping the protective film from it, and reached down, smiling as he again grunted at her touch, pushing eagerly into it as she rolled on the thin film, his body trembling with his desire. The moment she had finished, his lips dropped onto hers, his body shifted, pushing onto her. His hands reached down to grab her leg, his body instinctively lifting slightly allowing him to guide himself, before finding her heat and sinking into her with one firm thrust. “Oh God!” he hissed, his head pulling backwards as she took him in, “Take me, all of me.” he enamored as his hips connected with hers, his body bucking against her, to get full depth, “Yes! Oh fuck that’s good!” he exclaimed his head dropping to her shoulder.

Her hands gripped at his back when he pulled back slightly, drawing a gasp from her when he jolted forward again, quickly repeating the action. “I can’t slow down.” he hissed between thrusts, his body bucking hard against her.

“Don’t,” she mewled, “Too good.” her hands gripped his hips, her body rising to each thrust, their bodies colliding together, hard. The bed squeaked under the strain. Gareth’s hands clenched at the sheets, gripping them tightly as he powered into her. Her mewls and moans encouraging him, her grip on him tightened as he started rolling his hips, grinding into her more. “Yes!” She gasped clawing at his back.

“Give, it, to, me!” he encouraged as she gasped more, each one sharpening with every thrust he made into her.

“That’s it! Right there!” She wheezed as her body stiffened against his, moments before she whimpered her pleasure.

His body stiffened over hers almost simultaneously, as he bellowed his own release, almost immediately slacking against her on completion. His full weight coming to rest on her, as he gasped for air, then moving down to place his head between her breasts, panting in an effort to regain his breath.

Danielle traced her hands down his back for a few moments, also gasping for air, her body still humming from the intensity of her orgasm. Her fingers treaded through his hair, it was slightly damp from his efforts. She shuddered slightly as their bodies cooled.

“God he was an idiot,” Gareth finally spoke up a few moments later, and Danielle could feel a frown forming on her brow. “Who?” She asked slightly confused.

“Your ex,” he explained before lifting his head slightly and placing a kiss on her chest. “You don’t give that up to brag about it,” he professed, lifting his head a little more to look into her eyes, “You hide it somewhere so no one else can have any.” he professed then moved again to take her lips. “But I’m happy he was an idiot.” Gareth professed, as they broke apart.

“Why?” She asked, again panting slightly.

“Because you’re here now, and most definitely mine.” He professed as he took her lips again, his hands running over her body anew, “and I can’t wait to do that again.” he professed, but pulled away from her when he felt her shudder, “you okay?”

“Cold.” She whispered, remembering that she had not turned up the heat when they had entered the room.

“Slip under the sheets, I have something to take care of then I’ll join you,” he professed, lifting from her and helping her to slip under the sheets, before disappearing into the bathroom for a while. Returning to turn up the heat and slipping in between the sheets again, wrapping her in his embrace.

“You can go, you don’t need to stay.” She softly said, swallowing against the restricting sensation in her chest.

“I want to stay.” he declared, “in anyway I’m not done with you.” He decreed, tightening his hold on her.

“Promises.” She gruffly challenged.

“Ugh, you are so worth the effort.” he grunted against her naked shoulder, before placing a kiss on it.

“Until tomorrow.” She challenged him.

“Oh there’s absolutely no chance you’re taking another lover whilst I’m around.” he firmly decreed. “I’d be green with envy knowing what I do.” His hold on her loosened as his hand started tracing over her anew.

“I like your honesty.” she lowly replied, her voice already sleepy.

“And I appreciate yours, now go to sleep, I have plans for you when you wake.” he husked into her neck.

“Promises.” She teased.

“I’m going to brand you.” he husked into her neck.

Just as he was about to drift off, his mobile phone rang, causing him to clamber form the bed in search of it. “Yeah Luke,” he answered it, his voice conveying his displeasure.

“Her partner’s with me, hopefully for the nigh
t
, take your time.” Luke’s voice came across the line.

“Thanks, I didn’t want to leave her.” Gareth replied turning to look at Danielle’s sleeping form, her pale skin calling to him.

“We’ll talk in the morning, there are a few things I want to discuss,” Luke’s gruff voice came over the line.

“Okay, after breakfast, before we hit the slopes.” Gareth replied before ending the call. “But for now I have other plans.” He said flipping off the main switch and returning to the bed.

Lost in the Woods

She just needed to get out. The snow and the trees were great, but she needed to get out of the cabin and out of her own head.

Rose grabbed her down jacket, wool socks, hat, and everything else she needed for a walk in the arctic.
Ok, it's not exactly the arctic, it is just Tennessee
. She could hear the crunch of the snow under her boots and thought how it almost felt like wet sand. Not really, but living in Miami for most of her life, she had little else with which she could compare that sensation. She inhaled deeply, the cold air stung her nose and felt a little harsh on the back of her throat, and smelled pine, snow, and wood smoke.

It was so foreign to the exhaust, salt, and spicy tang that hung in the air with the humidity in Miami. She found the trail marked on the trees at the tree line near the cabin. That trail would take her down the quarter mile stretch that led to the site manager. There were eight cabins on site, spread across a little less than thirty acres, abutting state park land in the Great Smokey Mountains. Cabins could be driven to, but there were not paved roads and not incredibly easily accessible. The secluded aspect in the upper mountain setting was what made the rental properties here very exclusive and very sought after. Most guests opted for a pick up, where someone from the main office would put your car under their carport and drive you to the cabin with all your supplies in their S.U.V.

The sight manager also offered to deliver supplies on his runs to the store for a small nominal fee.

Hell no
. She'd seen enough horror movies to know what happens to the girl all alone in the cabin with no way to get to civilization and, therefore, safety. She rented a S.U.V. that had four-wheel drive and was unlikely to slip on too much ice, since forecasters were excitedly calling for a white Christmas in a few days. She made sure it had a full tank of gas too.
Maybe I do watch too many horror movies
. Whatever, she was prepared anyway. Ever since Richard, her ex, told her she would regret leaving him, she felt the need to be aware.

She thought about the events of the past few months as she trod along the snowy path.

She just ended a relationship with Richard, her long time boyfriend. They met at college and he charmed her socks off,
panties too if she recalled
. That didn’t take long to wear off, he became very dismissive and absent often. She felt he treated her like a chore, something that you had to get through, until she realized he felt the same way.

Rose had looked at a text that rang on his phone while he was in the shower. There were many to and from him and other women. Their break up didn't go at all as she suspected, she thought he'd be upset, but embarrassed, at being caught cheating. Oh no, it became clear he was with her because her father owned a somewhat successful, comfortably profitable resort in
Miami
. They did all right but he planned to marry in the family business and eventually take over the company. He felt his sex life had nothing to do with their partnership and still expected the relationship to continue. When she told him it was over he either didn't believe her or he thought he would still get her back, she was unsure exactly how desperately, unfortunately. He had grand schemes of expanding her family's resort to
Malibu
,
Sweden
, and
Spain
.

Fat chance that
, she thought.

She shook her head and shook off that train of thought. She wrote romance novels and did fairly well, but lately she had had writers block. She would sit at the computer and nothing would come out, she tried every writing exercise she knew to get her creative juices flowing and....nothing. Guess there was no romantic inspiration in real life to pull from.
But you came here to finish writing, not dwell on a sorry relationship
. She thought a change of scenery would help inspire her.

She looked around with a fresh eye at her surroundings, looking up at a noise in the branches and saw a male and female cardinal chasing each other, then titters away. She smiled and wondered what else she might see in the form of wildlife while she was here. The sky was grey and you could almost smell the snow that was looming on the horizon. She could see fir trees and mountaintops behind mountaintops as far as the eye could see. All the ridges layered across the horizon were topped and coated with trees off all kinds. She loved looking at the fir trees that stood out, green and lush, against it's other tree brethren gone bare branched for the winter
.

Five minutes in and I'm waxing poetic already, I knew the drastic change of scenery would jerk me out of my writer's block
.

She had a deadline of Valentine's Day to lock herself away and focus on finishing the last book before her contract renewal. If sales went well, she could negotiate a nice new settlement for each new installment of a series of books.
First you have to write the book
.

She saw something in the corner of her eye, gasped, and came out of her reverie as she saw the flickering tail of a deer in the distance running off in the afternoon light. After a few more yards she realized she was very close to the manager's cabin, and something smelled good. Her mouth watered and her stomach growled. She had a few snacks and things she picked up at the gas station on the way, but she was a foodie and couldn't wait to cook some real food. She definitely smelled chili,
but how do I smell it out here
?

She followed the trail, and her nose, to the cabin. She imagined the cabin manager to be a lumberjack-looking guy with a sweet pleasantly homey wife cooking chili to warm up newcomers. She entertained herself with the thought of the wife dressed as a frontiers woman. With as rustic as the setting was, one could almost imagine such things.
