His Unbearable Desire 1 (6 page)

She didn’t know if she wanted him to stop. He rowed in silence. They spoke of nothing but they didn’t need to speak. Anything they needed to say was said with a simple glance. Ana curled up and tried to ignore the cold, peering ahead through the veil of darkness that awaited them. Eventually she could bear the silence no more.

“I always thought I’d be seeing this with my husband.”

“What’s so special about this?”

“It’s the tunnel…it’s the first journey that a wedded couple make after they’ve said their vows, and they have to promise not to reveal what is at the end to anyone. It’s a secret that only they know. My aunt says it helps to strengthen the bond between them. She’s never told me either. I wanted to get married here one day so I could find out.”

Colton immediately swung one of the oars and the boat jerked. Ana screamed and held onto the sides. Water splashed inside and she felt the coldness seep down below her dress and onto her skin. The boat violently bounced and ended up crashing into the shore, lodged between the trees. Ana’s heart thumped so hard she thought it would burst out of her body. She stared in horror at Colton, boiling with impotent rage.

“What the hell was that for?” she yelled, her tone of voice completely at odds with the tranquil atmosphere surrounding them. Her wide eyes blazed with confused anger as Colton let go of the oars.

“I didn’t want to ruin your fantasy,” he said, coming closer towards her, moving his body like a predator about to pounce on its prey.

Ana nestled back into the end of the boat. The sounds of nature were all around them. His eyes looked at her, his shaggy hair fell down around his eyes and his white teeth shone in the darkness. He moved with the grace of a powerful animal as he crawled up the boat and Ana found her body quivering at the anticipation of his touch.

The water rippled outside the boat and the soft lapping was a pleasant noise in the recesses of her mind, but she forgot about everything as Colton came towards her. His shirt was open at the collar and gave a hint at the hairy chest underneath, his scent was strong and overpowering and soon enough she found it enveloping her like a thick mist. His biceps were huge and then his heat touched her as he came over her. His hands ran by her sides and she gasped as they brushed her body.

Electric tingles shot through her as he moved up, their eyes never leaving each other’s gaze. He growled before he kissed her, her lips parted automatically to welcome him and it was a kiss that started slow and tender but quickly grew fierce in its passion. He kissed her so hard she thought her lips were going to be bruised but she cared not as the pain blurred with pleasure to create a hazy sensation in her mind. His stubble scratched her skin but she moaned softly as their lips pressed together and their tongues danced.

At one point he took her lower lip in his mouth and bit down firmly, making her whole body shudder. Her hands wrapped around his body and her nails dug into his back, clawing at his shirt to get at the sinewy, muscular skin underneath. He pressed his body firmly into her and she could feel every inch of his arousal. They both burned with lust. Their bodies were on fire and nothing could stop the blaze.

She moaned his name as he moved his head down through her long dark hair into the nape of her neck, burying himself in her scent as he kissed and bit her skin and ear. Waves of pleasure flooded through her and she found herself trembling.

“Nobody has ever made me feel this way before,” she gasped as her entire body screamed out for him.

She ran her hands along his torso and down to grab at his ass while his hands ran around her body. They squeezed her waist and then moved up through her hair, pulling it to twist her head away. Her mouth was open in short, frantic breaths as his hands were everywhere, sending her to an entirely new realm. She writhed underneath him and lifted his head up so that she could kiss him again, long, deep kisses where their jaws were stretched so wide they started to ache. His hand moved down to caress the exposed skin of her shoulder and her skin began to prickle.

Then the tips of his fingers traced a path down her chest, following the rise of her bosom, and then his hand curled around her breast and squeezed. Her nipples were like bullets underneath the dress and he played with them, stroking and pinching them before he roughly pulled the dress down. She heard stitches rip but she didn’t care for the intensity of the passion was too overwhelming. The cold air momentarily rushed around her breast until he buried it in his mouth, taking as much of it as he could and sucking. She felt his tongue run around her erect nipple and then he took it in his teeth. She moaned and then started swaying her hips. He followed suit and she could feel his thick erection against her.

She wanted him more than she had ever wanted anyone else. All her fantasies rushed to her mind and then were shattered by the force of the reality. Nothing she had ever imagined could have come close to the bliss of that moment. Ana kissed Colton frantically again, running her hands through his thick mane of hair. He pawed at her. He was so strong that it felt like he could have snapped her in two if he really wanted, but somehow Ana knew he wouldn’t. His hand moved down from her breast and along the soft curves of her body, all the way down to her leg.

She gasped as he brushed past her burning area and squirmed under him. His fingers found her leg and he slowly ran them up her inner thigh, teasing to go further but not taking the final motion until she parted her legs for him. Her lips opened into a wide ‘o’ as he started stroking her wet pussy, his fingers ran along the outside of her lips at first until he placed his palm flat against her, making her body arch in delight as he slipped in one slender finger.

They kissed frantically as he stimulated her and Ana couldn’t believe the pleasure that was running through her body. Lightning bolts were sparking all over and she was almost laughing deliriously as Colton controlled the movement of her body with his finger. Then another one joined the party and they searched for her sweet spot. When they found it Ana let out a long, guttural moan that echoed all around the lake. Colton’s fingers were slick with her juice and she felt him inside her, closer to her, all around her. In that moment he was everything to her and she didn’t want it any other way.

Colton continued pleasuring her in the stillness of the night. They kissed intensely as she gave herself to him. Orgasmic delight built within her, faster than it ever had before and she couldn’t quite believe it. He had a magic touch and with every twitch of his fingers a new sensation exploded in her mind. She clung to him as the boat swayed gently in the water, a ball of passion grew and pulsed inside her that was as violent and furious as a volcano that was getting ready to erupt after being dormant for a thousand years.

She twisted under him, her whole body shook and shuddered as the pleasure overwhelmed her, flooded her, and the onrushing orgasm came like a tsunami, crashing through her relentlessly. Ana jerked violently as Colton held her safely in his arms. Her eyes screwed shut to brace the force of the orgasm, and when it was over sweat streamed down her face and her chest heaved as she took in deep breaths.

“That was amazing. You’re amazing,” she whispered breathlessly as she collapsed in his arms.

He kissed her gently and stroked the hair away from her face. As the heat of the moment dissipated Ana chewed her lip with worry. She didn’t want to ruin the moment but there was a burning question she had to know the answer to.

“Is this all there’s going to be? Am I ever going to see you again?” she asked, stroking his cheek.

He turned away slightly, his hooded eyes glancing away from her.

“I can’t tell you that but what I do know is this isn’t the end of it. There’s something about you Ana,” he said, stroking her cheek and then leaning in for another kiss.

It wasn’t the answer she had been hoping for but given how deliriously exhausted she was it satisfied her for the moment. They lay together for a while, enjoying each other’s company, stroking and holding each other. Eventually Colton shifted and took hold of the oars, and started rowing them back to shore. As they arrived back into the main lake Ana saw that it was completely deserted.

They stepped out of the boat and Colton looked down at her, holding her shoulders. He leaned in for a kiss and then turned to walk away. Ana waited for him to ask her to his room but he never did, and she wondered why. She slept peacefully that night, and this time in her dreams she had the image of Colton, but when she awoke she wished that he had been beside her.

Again he had left her when she needed him and she wondered if it had just been a case of him getting what he wanted and then leaving her. She felt disconsolate when she awoke, and in all honesty she couldn’t wait for the day to be over so that she could get on with the rest of her life.

But as she walked downstairs she was called over to reception. There was a note left for her. Slightly puzzled, she opened it and a smile broke out upon her face.

My apologies for last night. Meet me on the boardwalk, Glenn x

Her heart swelled for a moment and then felt guilty for she had gone off last night with his cousin. She didn’t know if it was fair to him to see him again after what happened with Colton, but then again she wasn’t sure if she’d even see Colton again. She skipped outside and saw him gazing out at the lake.

“It’s beautiful isn’t it, so peaceful and still. Sometimes I really wonder what we’re doing with our time, building all those skyscrapers when we have such beauty here.” He turned to her and he looked just as handsome in daylight as he did in the dim light of the bar. He apologized again for the previous night and said that he had some urgent business to take care of.

“I suppose that’s another reason why I haven’t settled down yet. It’s hard to find a wife when you have to spend so much time working. It’s a shame Colton can’t take any responsibility,” he said.

“What is the story between you two anyway?” she asked innocuously. Glenn paused for a moment and looked out at the lake.

“That is a long story. Suffice to say that we have two different ways of looking at the world. But we’re family, and we have to stick together. Now, I’d rather not spend this lovely morning talking about my cousin. I’d much rather talk about you.”

He held out his arm in a gentlemanly manner and Ana smiled. She gladly took it and they strolled along. She told him all about her life and found herself speaking about things she hadn’t even realized she remembered. He listened intently and asked the right questions at the right time. Eventually she started to talk about how her aunt had told her magical creatures lived in the woods. She expected him to laugh at her innocent stupidity but instead his eyes glazed over.

“Do you not think it’s funny?” she asked.

“I just think there are certain things about this world that can’t be explained. I think it’s arrogant to assume that we can know everything. I’m not saying that pixies and imps started dancing at midnight, but there are some things in this world that are difficult to explain. I’m certainly no expert but I don’t think we should close our minds to the mysteries of the world.”

He let his arm fall down and he took her hand in his and squeezed. It was a comfortable feeling and it felt completely natural being with him. The rhythm of conversation was easy and although they barely knew each other there was no awkwardness at all.

“I must be boring you by now,” she said at one point after she had been talking for what seemed like hours.

“Not at all,” he said, turning to look deeply into her eyes.

“You’re not like the usual women I meet. Most of them are only interested in money. You have…substance about you. It’s nice, it’s refreshing. I find myself drawn to you,” he said.

His hand caressed the side of her face and he brushed a few errant strands of hair away from her full cheeks. It felt like they were in a world of their own. She gazed up into his eyes and in them she saw a universe filled with possibilities. He looked so much like Colton, and for an instant her mind flashed back to the intense delight of the previous night, but then he smiled and all she saw was Glenn.

He leaned in and they kissed. His arms wrapped around her, drawing her into him as their lips met. It was sweet and tender, unlike the raw, fiery kisses she had enjoyed with Colton, but it was something she knew she could rely on…and something she could get used to for the rest of her life.
