“Welcome back to earth, babe,” he said, smiling and kissing the end of her nose as he freed her from the restraints and gathered her protectively into his arms.

Chapter Ten

Steffi lay wide awake, afraid to move. If she did, she might wake Jonny and then she wouldn’t be able to feast her eyes on his gorgeous body and relive in her mind all the things they’d done over the course of the night. She felt like pinching herself, just to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. One glance at Jonny’s muscled chest that rose and fell rhythmically as he breathed and she knew that she wasn’t.

So all the hype about the rejuvenating powers of good sex wasn’t just bull, like she’d always told herself it must be. What an idiot she’d been to settle for second best all these years. Well, those days were past. She continued to focus her gaze on Jonny, tempted to push the hair out of his eyes just so she’d have an excuse to touch him. She resisted. Jonny was going to need all the rest he could get. So were those brothers of his. Steffi had lost time to make up for. A lot of lost time, and she had no intention of wasting a second of it. She had adored being tied up but reckoned there were far more interesting things for her to learn, and what better teachers than the highly experienced, exceedingly attractive, oversexed Malone boys?

“You’re staring.”

Jonny’s voice made her jump. “How long have you been awake?”

“Long enough to know you were staring at me.”

“Don’t let it go to your head. I was just thinking, that’s all.”

“Oh, yes.”

His somnolent smile, like he knew precisely what thoughts had occupied her head, was very annoying. “I was figuring out what I need to get done today.”

Jonny stretched his arms above his head and yawned, that irritating smile broadening into a knowing grin. “Anything I should know about?”

She resisted the urge to smother his face with a pillow. That would be such a waste of lean, arrogant male. “Hell, no.”

“Liar!”

He caught her round her waist and tumbled her on top of him. “Has anyone ever told you that you look sexy as hell first thing in the morning with all that hair of yours in a wild tangle, your eyes puffy with sleep, your lips puffy with…ouch!” He rubbed his rib cage where she’d thumped him. “What was that for? I was trying to pay you a compliment.”

“Then your compliments need some work. You don’t get on a girl’s right side by telling her she’s got puffy eyes.”

He cocked a brow. “How about sexy as hell?”

“Hmm, better.”

“Lips that look like they need kissing?”

“Deeds speak louder than words.”

Jonny chuckled. “Hello, what happened to the sexually repressed, unresponsive woman I took to bed last night?”

“She got laid.”

He ran a hand down the outside of one breast. “Too right she did.”

“I suppose you want me to admit that you were right.”

He tweaked the end of her nose. “Like you just said, babe, deeds speak louder than words.”

“Is that right?” His morning erection pushed against her thigh as she lay half on top of him. “Talking of which, what’s that you’ve got for me there?”

“Er, I wasn’t going to mention it. I figured you might have had enough for now, seeing as how—”

“You’re kidding me, right?” Steffi looked at him askance. “You started this, Mr. Malone. You can’t just liberate a girl’s sexuality and then put it on hold.”

He rolled his eyes. “God help me, I’ve created a sex maniac.”

She sent him a scorching gaze, astonished that she felt comfortable talking to him this way. More than comfortable, she amended, she was actually enjoying it. “Looks that way,” she said carelessly. “Which kinda makes me your problem.”

His grin was a broad, infectious challenge. “No problem this end. I just thought—”

Steffi had no interest in his thoughts and bent her head to kiss him before he could articulate them. As she did so, she reached down and touched his stiff cock. It jerked in her hand, and she felt a drop of pre-cum slip from its head, giving lie to Jonny’s hesitation. She loved him for putting her welfare above his own, very obvious, needs.
The hell with that!
She needed to make sure that the first time had been no fluke.

Jonny swore beneath his breath and took control of the kiss, forcing his tongue into her mouth as he rolled onto his back and pulled her on top of him. His hand came down hard over her ass. She writhed against the pain, a soft groan of approval slipping past her lips, even though he was still kissing them like he meant business. This time it seemed Jonny wouldn’t make her wait and grabbed her hips, guiding her down onto him. She greedily took him inside, welcoming the feel of his cock filling her pussy, stretching her to the limit as he continued to spank her ass.

“God, that feels sublime,” she said when he broke the kiss. “But I need you deeper than that, Jonny.”

He laughed. “You’re the one in charge.”

She sank down even harder as he picked up the rhythm of his thrusts from beneath her, spanking her ass in time with them. Steffi loved it and stayed with him every step of the way.

“Let it go, babe,” Jonny said when he’d worked himself all the way into her. “I can feel you closing round my cock. Just take what you need.”

“I am. Here it is! Oh, God. Fuck me, Jonny. Let me have it hard.”

“I’m gonna come too, Steffi. Let’s do this together.”

Steffi bit his shoulder as he shot his load deep inside her and she pulsated round his cock like she never wanted to let it go. Truth was, she didn’t. She would take whatever Jonny Malone had to offer her, as often as he was prepared to give it, and still it wouldn’t be enough for her. She loved what he did to her.

She loved him.

Steffi snuggled into his arms afterward, her head comfortably pillowed on his chest, satiated and completely boneless. Her eyes fluttered to a close as Jonny held her close, kissing the top of her head and whispering endearments.

“What’s the time?” she asked, opening her eyes a little later.

Jonny picked up his watch from the nightstand. “Just after seven.”

“Hell, I’d better get moving. I’m usually hard at work by now.”

“You just worked pretty hard,” he reminded her.

“That’s different.”

She wiggled out of his arms and collected her discarded clothes from the floor, pulling them over her naked body without bothering with underwear.

“I’ll shower in my room and see you later.”

“Join us for breakfast,” Jonny said, leaning on one elbow as he watched her. “We’ll find out how Harry got on trying to track down that e-mail.”

“Heavens, I forgot all about that. How could I have?”

Jonny grinned at her, and she died a little inside when she recalled just how fleeting their games were likely to be. Her virile Greek god possessed a compelling allure she’d never be able to resist for as long as he wanted her. Given his looks, wealth, and charm, that was unlikely to be for long. He could do a hell of a lot better than her, so she’d just have to make the most of the time she had here with him—to say nothing of his brothers.

“Other things on your mind?” he asked, quirking a brow.

“Don’t get above yourself. It was a momentary lapse.”

She dashed from the room, hoping against hope that Harry and Brad weren’t early risers. In her telltale, dishevelled state, she absolutely didn’t want to bump into them. They knew what she and Jonny had been doing, but that didn’t mean they got to see the evidence firsthand.

Fortunately, the coast was clear and she made it back to her room without meeting anyone. She stood under the hot jets of water in her shower for a long time, reluctantly washing all traces of Jonny from her body. The memories lodged in her mind would take far longer to eradicate.

She dressed in her usual uniform of jeans and a sweatshirt, brushed the tangles from her hair, tied it back, and headed for the dining room before her nerve failed her. She had to face the three of them in the cold light of day sometime or other. Might as well get it over with.

“I am not going to blush like a schoolgirl,” she told herself, blushing like there was no tomorrow when she opened the door and three smiling faces turned toward her.

“Morning, Steffi,” Harry said cheerfully. “Sleep well?”

Steffi doubted if she’d managed more than three hours’ sleep the entire night, and then not in one hit. Even so, she couldn’t remember a time when she’d felt less tired, more alive, more ready to face the world. Sex had a lot going for it.

“You look lit up from the inside,” Brad said. “Wonder why?”

Jonny slouched at the head of the table. He looked devastating in a white dress shirt open at the throat with the sleeves rolled back to reveal strong forearms, and his usual sculpted-on jeans. He merely winked at her.

“Good morning, gentlemen,” Steffi said with a dignified toss of her head.

She made straight for the breakfast buffet, suddenly starving and no longer embarrassed. The boys were teasing her, but affectionately so. They obviously understood from her appearance, even if Jonny hadn’t already enlightened them, what had occurred and were pleased for her. Even so, if one of them dared to say he’d told her so, she’d fling a plate of bacon at him.

“You feeling hungry?” Harry asked, laughing as she piled her plate with a massive fry up and joined them at the table.

“For some reason, yes, I am.”

Brad chuckled. “Wonder what that could be.”

“Any news on the e-mail scam?” she asked Harry, nodding her thanks to Brad as he poured coffee for her.

“Yes and no. I know where it didn’t come from.”

She paused with a forkful of scrambled egg halfway to her mouth. “And that helps how?”

“It’s a process of elimination. The Internet is a vast wilderness, a bit like America. I guess you could say I’m cutting it down to size state by state.”

“Oh, okay.” Steffi quelled her disappointment. “I’m sure you’ll get there.”

“We have positive news regarding Daniel,” Jonny said, speaking for the first time since she entered the room.

She placed her silverware aside and gave him her full attention. “How so?”

“I’ve heard back from the specialist in Texas,” Harry said. “He’s looked at Daniel’s records and thinks he might be able to help him.”

Steffi flashed a radiant smile, her entire body coming alive with a very different joy to the one Jonny had engendered in it. “That’s brilliant! Does he know yet?”

Harry shook his head. “Only just found out myself.”

“We thought we’d tackle the subject with him after breakfast,” Brad said.

“Let me know if I can help.”

“You need to be there,” Jonny said. “If he doesn’t listen to us, you might be able to persuade him.”

“What with Jonny being an expert on your powers of persuasion,” Brad said with a predatory smile. “Not that that situation is likely to last for much longer.” He regarded Steffi with an unholy light in his eye. “Tonight, if you’ll let us, Harry and I will show you that big brother here isn’t the only stud in the family.”

All three men looked at her expectantly, as though anticipating prim objections or an outright refusal. She could see that she’d surprised them when she answered without hesitation.

“When and where?” she asked.

Jonny roared with laughter. “I’ve definitely created a monster,” he said.

“I didn’t hear you complaining.”

“That’s because the service was first-class.”

“Join us for dinner again tonight,” Brad said, “and wear something sexy to put us in the mood.”

“You’re always in the mood,” she pointed out with a sweet smile.

“True, but a little encouragement never goes amiss.”

Steffi made a face at him, drained her coffee, and stood up. “Give me an hour before you tackle Daniel. Marius is covering a mare shortly and I need to be there. He performs better when I’m around.”

“Don’t we all,” Brad muttered with a salacious grin.

“Okay,” Jonny said. “Come and collect us from our sitting room when you’re ready to see Daniel.”

“Good luck with Marius,” Brad added.

“Thanks, but he doesn’t need luck. He knows how to do his job.”

Steffi rolled her eyes as soon as the words left her lips, unsurprised at the ribald laughter they produced.

“So do we, babe,” Brad said. “So do we.”

“What’s this?” Daniel asked. “Some sort of deputation? You look like you have something on your minds.”

“Morning, Daniel,” Steffi said, bending to kiss his cheek. “How are you feeling today?”

“Obviously not as well as you,” he said, observing her features closely and grinning. His gaze roved round his sons and came to rest on Jonny. He nodded imperceptibly, as though congratulating him on a job well done. “You look radiant, my dear. I’m so glad.”

Harry expected her to blush. Instead, she smiled the empowered smile of a woman who was just starting to discover all sorts of interesting things about herself.
