“Nick, Steve and Pete are just male sluts. But one thing they all have in common.” He paused for a few minutes.

“What’
s that?” She asked as they both leaned forward.

“They’
re all straight, Sam.” He lowered his eyes. “I

m gay. Having a gay guy in a rock band just never did cut it.” Her mouth was open. She had no idea. In fact she would never have guessed in a million years that Damon was gay.

“Damon, I had no idea. Please don’
t think that I was prying.” He covered her hand with his and assured her. Now was her opportunity to ask him. “There

s something I wanted to ask you but couldn’t at the office.” He looked intently at her.
“I hope to open my own gallery when I move to LA. Would you be interested in having me represent you there?” Damon cleared his throat. He picked up a glass of water and took a sip. Gently he replaced it on the table beside the jug.

“Samantha,” he said. “The surprising thing to me is that you waited so long to open your own place. I would be honoured if you’
d continue to be my agent.” A broad grin swept across and lit up her whole face. Damon looked at her in the candle light. He could understand why Jay fell for her. There was a charisma, an aura about her. She had the power to completely disarm you with a flash of that smile. Jay was a lucky guy but then he always was a lucky bastard, thought Damon to himself as he raised the wine glass and toasted to the success of the new gallery.

As he walked her to get a taxi, he asked suddenly.

“What was it about Jay that attracted you to him?” Sam raised her hand and hailed a taxi.

“His wicked sense of humour and well, he’
s a damn good kisser.” She blushed and giggled.

“Sam.” He said in a serious voice. “Jay is a good friend of mine. He’
s a real person underneath his public image.” As the taxi pulled up, Damon opened the door for her and smiled as she got in.

“Damon, I love him, not the rock star.” Her smile was radiant. As he closed the door, he waved and the taxi pulled away. He thought to himself;
it’
s not you I

m concerned about Sam.

Lisa was watching TV in Sam

s apartment. It had been almost a month since she left Des; to her surprise he made no attempt to contact her. It was as though he was relieved that the marriage was over. As though he had wanted it over from the beginning but being the gentleman he was, had decided that he would stay in it as long as Lisa remained content.

She fixed herself a cocktail and resumed her position on the sofa. Her cell phone rang.

“Hello,” she said. There was a feint crackle then a voice.

“Hello yourself.” It was Nick. Lisa sat up straight on the sofa. She was surprised to hear from him.

“What’
s up?” There was a slight pause then.

“I know this sounds ridiculous but I was just thinking about how you were doin.” He said. A smile spread across her face. There was no mistaken that she was attracted to him but she also knew that there was no way that anything would come of their very casual acquaintance.

“I’
m doing great. How was the tour? Did you kick ass?” He laughed and told her about the tour and how they had to add four extra dates much to the others disapproval.

“But hey, that’
s rock and roll, right sweetie?” She laughed. They chatted for ages.

Sam arrived in, just after ten thirty. Lisa whispered to her that it was Nick and Sam went into the bathroom and had a shower.

“So what’
s next, Nick?” She asked.

“How about we meet up, I’
m throwing a party here Saturday night. Why not fly over?” He sounded so casual.

“Hmm you are seriously tempting me.” He laughed and teased her some more until she agreed. “I’
ll come.” They said good night.

Lisa made some tea and brought one in to Sam. She was in her robe and was smiling as Lisa handed her the cup.

“So how is he?” She asked. Lisa couldn’t
help but smile. She did like him but she knew she couldn’t trust him as far as she

d throw him.

“He’
s fine. Having a party on Saturday night and invited me.” Sam raised an eyebrow.

“Are you going?” She asked. Lisa nodded, she was. She knew that Sam didn’t
really approve but it was only because of some stupid misunderstanding between Sam and Nick.

“Have you heard from Jay?” The smile faded slightly. She shook her head. But she couldn’t
hide the fact that she missed him.

“He’
s been so busy and he sounded so tired when I called him.” Lisa wished that she could have a relationship like that, where you craved to be with the person so much that you were just going through the motions until you were in their arms again. Sometimes Lisa felt jealous of Sam and Jay

s relationship because of that.

As if on cue, Sam

s phone rang, she looked at the number and her smile broadened so Lisa guessed it was Jay and left the room.

“Hey babe how ya doin?” Jay’
s chirpy voice almost sang down the line. Sam lay back on the bed. It was so good to hear his voice.

“I’
ve missed you.” She said and then trying not to sound too eager.

“We’ve been kept very busy here.” He teased her and she was melting at the sound of his voice. He told her that he had been doing some interviews on the radio and the local TV stations.
“When are you getting over here babe?” Jay asked. Sam sighed she wanted so desperately to be there now to hold him and just to kiss him.

“I can’
t just yet, Jay. I want to, believe me.” There was desperation evident in Sam’s voice. He laughed.

“If I were there, what would you do to me?” He lowered his voice and asked. “Would you bang the rock star, Sam?” She caught her breath as she answered him in a seductive tone.

They had phone sex and this time Sam heard Jay orgasm as he relieved himself, she did the same.

The next morning at breakfast, Sam nibbled at some fruit and read the newspaper. There was nothing exciting in it. She put it on the table. Lisa was packing a small bag. She had decided to go to LA for a few days. She told Sam that she felt as though she really had to get away and think things through.

“Want me to give Jay a kiss for you?” She teased. Sam glared at her mockingly. They both laughed.

“Tell him I will be there soon.” Lisa sat down in front of her and held her hand.

“Oh Sam, what will I do without you?” She asked. “We tell each other everything. I am going to miss you.” Sam smiled. She would miss Lisa too. She had been so supportive to Sam with everything but without her help, Sam wouldn’t
have gotten through the terrible divorce. She was also there when she had needed reassurance about her relationship with Jay.

“It’
ll work out Li, we are still going to see each other,” she reassured her. “We

ll keep in touch.” They both knew that the level of their friendship was deep enough to withstand them not being together all the time.

In her office, Sam was working on some of the final preparations for a new show involving Damon

s art. But she couldn’t concentrate, all she could think of, was that in less than nine hours Lisa would be with Nick and she would see Jay. The thought of this was killing Sam as she needed to be with him.

Her phone rang. Automatically she answered it.

“Hey there!  There’s a special delivery for a sexy lady on the phone.” It was Jay. A warm smile spread across her face.

“Hey there rock star.” She teased.
God how she wanted to be with him
.

“Babe, you look hot today.” Jay said. “Looking hot in that red suit you are wearing.” She smiled; she was wearing a red suit.

“Lucky guess, rock star.” She laughed. She loved him so much.

“Babe, let you hair down, I want to pull it back as I take you.” She giggled. “Kick off your shoes and put away that file.” She moaned slightly. She wanted him so badly and he was teasing her. Sam told him she would make him pay for that when she was with him.

Suddenly there was a knock on her door, she said:

“Jay, there is someone at the door. Can you hold on my love?”

“No sexy.” The line went dead. She wanted to scream. There was another knock. She stood up pulled down her skirt and went over to the door. She wasn’
t expecting anyone.

“Surprise!” Jay was standing outside her office. Without thinking, Sam jumped into his arms and kissed him passionately amidst curious looks from those in the gallery.

She closed the door. She felt his arms go around her and pull her close to him. He bent his head and his tongue probed her mouth with an urgency born of the separation they had endured.

Her hand slipped into his trousers and she felt him big and hard. He moaned as she started to move her hand up and down. Jay picked her up in his arms and brought her over to her desk and lay her down on it. He pulled up her skirt and feeling her lace thong ripped it off her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled his head down to kiss him passionately. Then he turned her around so she was bent over the desk. His hands moving over her hips, he moved her legs slightly apart all the time, caressing her. He wanted to have her.

A sharp gasp escaped her as he thrust violently into her, and with every movement, he brought her closer to climax. His movements were hard and fast. Sam held onto the desk as Jay thrust into her, deeper and deeper. As she climaxed, his thumb in her mouth muffled her cries of orgasm. He exploded inside her.

Bent over her, he smiled and kissed her. It had been a powerful orgasm. He had been so frustrated with wanting her.

“Oh babe,” he moaned almost out of breath. “The rock star needed that so much.” Sam giggled.

“Jay, oh god, I’
ve missed you so much!” She kissed him again. The desire to have him building again. He kissed her back as he breathed in her perfume. She smelt so good.

“Darlin, I couldn’t
stay away.” She ran her fingers through his hair. He moved his mouth over her breasts. She felt so good, he could eat her.
