“I love you,” Tremaine whispered against her
ear. “Don’t ever forget that, Liz.”

“You own my heart, Liz,” Robert whispered
against her skin, his arms winding around her waist. “I’m never
letting you go.”

“Neither am I,” Tremaine promised.

“I love you both. I couldn’t bear losing
either one of you.” Her eyes slammed shut and a tear fell down her
face Tremaine brushed it away with a gentle caress.

“You’re ours, we’re yours. Don’t cry, Liz,”
Trem whispered.

“No tears,” Robert murmured. “Let us take
away the doubt. Trust us with your heart.”

“I do,” she whispered, and she meant it.

Robert’s hand slid down her belly, between
her thighs and he pinched her clit. Her hips bucked and Tremaine
gasped as his cock twitched deep inside her.

“Close your eyes and feel,” Robert breathed
into her ear. Let us take you away.”

Tremaine’s hands gripped her ass as he
lifted her. She took the hint, rising and falling on him. He filled
her so full she could hardly stand it, but she loved the feel of
him.

He lay back, pulling her with him. She felt
the warm lube drip down her crease around Trem’s shaft as she rode
him. Then Robert pushed one finger deep into her and she nearly
came.

It was so intense, it was all she could do
to keep the steady rhythm as Robert slid another finger into her,
scissoring, stretching. The extra friction against Tremaine’s
length sent sparks of pleasure through her whole body. And then she
did come, and hard.

Tremaine locked his hands on her hips,
pulling her flush to him. “Don’t move,” he panted, “or I’ll follow
and I want us all to finish together.”

“I’ll tell you now, she’s tight back here.
I’m not going to last long.” Robert kissed between her shoulder
blades before placing his crown right at her anus. “Ready,
baby?”

“Mmhmm,” was all she could answer because
she was already past sensitive, and every light touch was only
adding to the sensation. She was a step away from turning into an
incoherent mass of satisfied woman.

He drove in slowly as Tremaine held her
there.

“Oh fuck, fuck, fuck,” she whimpered as her
head fell forward. “So good, so damned good.”

“Liz, relax,” Tremaine growled. “We’ve got
you.

Robert and Tremaine started slow, testing
the water as one pushed in, the other slid almost all the way out.
She could feel the way they rubbed against each other, through her.
She wasn’t sure how long she could hold on because she was lost to
so much sensation her brain had probably melted.

“Oh God, oh God,” she cried, and then
someone found her swollen ball of nerves and she came so hard she
saw pinpricks of light as she screamed out her release. They didn’t
stop, not yet. They kept going, moving into her as someone circled
her clit in the same rhythm they found.

“You there yet,” Robert grunted.

“Yes, yes, yes, yes,” she panted.

They both chuckled, but Tremaine roughly
said, “I’m there,” as he pressed into her good and hard. And then
Robert was as deep as he could go and she flew apart as they both
found their release.

She wasn’t sure what happened after that,
but when she could finally open her eyes she found herself wrapped
between Robert and Tremaine.

“How long before we’re supposed to meet
everyone?” she murmured. “I don’t think I can move even I if wanted
to.”

“That good.” Tremaine’s hand skated over
skin as his fingers splayed over her lower back.

She could only nod.

“We have time,” Robert whispered. “It’s nice
to be here with you. Both of you.”

“Agreed.” Tremaine’s voice washed over her
and she slipped into sleep.

“Stand here,” Fallon told Amethyst.

She groaned, but did as Fallon suggested.
“This is ridiculous.” She took a look around the field full of
colorful wildflowers.

“Now raise your hands, imagining the flowers
growing.”

“Isn’t this against nature? Won’t this upset
my karma or some such?” Amethyst muttered.

“No. Now do as she says,” Hayden told her, a
slight command in his voice.

Amethyst’s gaze cut over to him, her eyes
narrowed. One corner of his mouth tipped up. She groaned inwardly
because all she wanted to do was pounce on him.

Brody sat beside Hayden, and nudged him.
“Leave her alone. She’s playing along, even if it’s creeping her
out.”

Hayden narrowed his eyes at Brody. “It only
creeping you out.”

Sighing, Brody replied, “Not so much. She’s
not slinging around spells that could hurt someone.”

Amethyst frowned. “Except, if I get a handle
on the plants, I could. You don’t understand.” She let out a heavy
sigh and focused back on the plants. She raised her arms too fast
and the flowers expanded, their stems shooting up a good two feet
as the flowers tripled in size. The ones closest exploded in a
shower of petals.

Amethyst flinched and covered her face.
“What did I do?”

“Got carried away,” Fallon laughed. “Come
on, it’s not so bad. So a few flowers are no more, but that was
impressive.”

She peeked between her fingers and looked
around. It looked like someone had thrown buckets of flower petals
over her.

Brody shook his head. “Wow, but at least you
didn’t hurt anyone.”

“She could use the plants as snares though,”
Hayden countered.

“And why would I want to do that?” Amethyst
squeaked.

Hayden stood, and closed the distance. “If
you ever had to run from anyone, you could send the plant life
after them, have it wind around their legs to trip them. It
wouldn’t kill them, and it would give you plenty of time to get to
safety.”

She frowned. It wasn’t like she was always
in trouble. Maybe he had a point though. She sighed and looked up
at him. “Fine, then how do we go about that?”

Fallon perked up. “Let’s try….”

Chapter 24

Tremaine stepped up to the bar and Victoria
slid in beside him. She leaned in and whispered, “About time, I
must say the three of you put on a lovely show. I am a bit jealous
of Liz right about now.”

He looked up at the ceiling and shook his
head. “I told you, what you and I shared was just sex. You knew
what I felt for Liz.”

“Yeah. I knew that. Remember, I told you to
make your move. I never realized that included Robert.”

“Seriously? You’re going to judge me?”
Tremaine snorted.

Victoria smiled wide. “No. Maybe applaud you
though. I honestly wasn’t sure if she could do happy, and look at
her. One day, I want that.”

Tremaine’s brow arched.

She rolled her eyes. “Not with you three. I
do want to find my man. Or woman, but I can’t see myself with a
woman.” Her eyes locked onto Lincoln who was watching her. Tremaine
saw the sparkle in her eye as she licked her lips and added. “I
need a big, thick cock to satisfy me.”

That poor kid turned bright red and stumbled
over everything to get out of there.

“Go easy on him,” Tremaine warned. “He has a
good reason to be the way he is. He just needs the right woman to
bring him into his own.”

Victoria grinned. “Maybe once he gets his
wings I won’t feel like I’m robbing the cradle thinking about
it.”

“I still think he needs a push into
manhood.” Tremaine caught Jess’ attention and put his order in.

Robert sat at the table closest to the pool
table and watched as Liz obliterated Victoria. Tremaine seemed to
be avoiding the vampire, which was amusing in and of itself.

“So, what’s the story with you and
Victoria?” Robert asked.

“I slept with her a couple times. We both
had an itch that needed to be scratched.” Tremaine’s gaze went to
the door where Clint walked in. “Sort of like Liz with Clint. This
should get interesting.”

Clint walked up to Liz, and Robert’s teeth
ground together.

Tremaine winced. “Don’t judge her. Yes, she
used him, and he knew it. Once he knows the score, he won’t
approach again.”

“Clint?” Robert whispered.

“Look, it worked for them. It was what it
was. She hasn’t even attempted a normal relationship since she
walked away from you.”

Liz looked toward Clint and her eyes shut a
second before she made her way to Robert and Tremaine.

Liz ignored Clint and walked back to the
table to take a sip of her Voodoo. Clint sidled up next to her,
leaning close. She gave Tremaine a pleading look. He chuckled.

Clint was the last person she wanted to deal
with. She felt guilty, but she told him up front that their nights
together were a release for her, a temporary way to deal. She
promised him nothing but a chance to occasionally get off.

It was empty and meaningless. More often
than not it tended to make her feel worse by the time she was done.
Half the time she didn’t even get off. She was a fucking mess, and
she knew it, but he accepted it, encouraged it, let her take out
all of her frustrations, and he loved every second of it

“Oh, no, doll. You get to deal with this
mess yourself.”

She sighed heavily and turned to Clint.
“Sorry, but our nights together have come to an end. I’m
sorry.”

“Did I do something wrong?” Clint asked with
a twinkle in his green eyes. “You know I love it when you punish
me.”

She shook her head and bit her lip. “No, of
course you didn’t. I’m no longer single.”

His brow arched as he grinned at Tremaine.
“About time.”

“Just so we can get it out in the open,” she
took a deep breath and threw it out there, “I’m with both Tremaine
and Robert. That’s not ever changing.”

“Hey, if it works for you, I’m the last one
to judge, sweetheart. Be happy, Liz. That smile looks good on you.”
He nudged her shoulder and walked away with a smile.

She felt even worse and leaned against
Tremaine who was closest. He put his arm around her and squeezed
her tight. “Sorry, doll. You needed to tell him.”

She met his gaze for a second before looking
away. “I know. I hate that I used him like that.”

“He doesn’t, so you shouldn’t,” Trem
murmured.

“Hey,” Robert stood and moved around to her
other side to sandwich her between the two of them. Her eyes
widened as she realized Robert of all people, Mr. Prim-and-Proper,
at least outside the bedroom, just publicly acknowledged their less
than conventional relationship for the third time that day.

She felt like hell for not trusting him yet
once again. “I need a drink,” she muttered. “Then maybe we should
go. Christian already left. I doubt Victoria will mind. I bet she’s
tired of losing.”

Robert kissed her ear. “Sure thing, babe.
Hurry back.”

Tremaine squeezed her hand and gave her a
nod.

She took the only empty seat at the bar and
found herself next to Dacia, who could be a total bitch. Plus, she
had a habit of going after any man who was 100% not interested. Liz
was half surprised she hadn’t set her sights on Tremaine or Robert
by now.

“So, not one, but two men?” Dacia
quipped.

Liz sighed and nodded at Jess who held up a
bottle of Voodoo.

Dacia snorted. “Isn’t that a little
greedy?”

“Look, it’s not like you ever made a move on
Tremaine, and somehow, I don’t see you going for Robert. Why do you
care?”

“I can’t get one man, and you have two.” She
sneered. “Two! That doesn’t even seem fair.”

“Okay. So it’s not fair. Want me to cry you
a river?” Liz’s brow arched and when Dacia didn’t answer, she
continued, “Good. It’s not happening. Maybe if you relaxed a little
and actually tried to be yourself when going after a man, you would
find one.”

Dacia slumped in her chair. For the first
time, Liz noticed that Dacia was in loose slacks and a blouse that
actually covered her and didn’t cling to her body like saran wrap.
Her hair was still perfectly in place, but it didn’t look like she
had put much time into it, or her make up.

“Are you okay?” Liz asked softly.

Dacia shrugged a single shoulder and turned
back to whatever froufrou drink she was drinking with cherries in
it.

“What is it?” Liz tried.

Dacia picked up her drink and drank it down.
Shit, Liz knew that feeling, where nothing worked to dampen the
pain. “Why do you care?” Dacia asked in a fevered whisper.

“I know down and out. That looks about where
you are, or are headed.”

Dacia’s dark eyes glittered as she met her
gaze. “Yeah, I’m about there. I feel like shit since that piece of
shit Shadow Fae stripped me of my confidence.”

“I’d say it gets easier but it doesn’t
happen overnight, or over a year. Eventually though, you go
numb.”

“Until you find someone, or someone’s to
fill the emptiness,” Dacia muttered. “Sorry, I would be happy for
you, but I’m feeling too sorry for myself to muster anything
positive.”

Liz nodded at Jess. “Let me buy her out, and
I’ll buy out our tabs while I’m at it.”

Jess’ eyes went wide, but she didn’t
argue.

Tremaine heard Robert’s phone chime and
watched as Robert checked the display. He brushed a hand down his
lapels and glanced over at Liz, who was walking back.

“What’s up?” Tremaine asked.

“Think she’ll talk to Preston?”

“I take it he has some news?”

Robert sighed. “I really hope so. I can’t
stand knowing that James is out there looking for Liz. I know she
will never let me be with her every second of the day, and I don’t
expect her to.”

Tremaine barked a laugh as Liz joined
them.

She looked torn apart when she said. “We
should go. I don’t feel like being out right now.”

Robert cupped her cheek, his expression
serious. “What’s wrong, love?”
