Lizzy rushed around the house trying to get her chores
done before Kevin would arrive. It was a tutoring night, his last tutoring
night.
Her stomach was in knots about the final exams. She knew
Kevin would pass and retain all of his credits needed to graduate, and she
wanted that for him, but she also wanted him to stay….but, even if he failed,
she knew he would just go home.
The time she had been spending with Kevin during the last
weeks was causing her to fall behind on her housework. She was thankful that
Michael had been too busy to notice. He had been so busy, he hadn’t even
noticed her, skipping their last two scheduled love making sessions with work.
Lizzy didn’t complain to him like she usually did, and she
didn’t even try to seduce him in his office or under the sheets with another
morning blowjob. Instead, she continued her affair with Kevin, growing closer
and closer to him with each passing day. It almost felt like cheating on him to
have sex with her husband. That was silly and she knew it, but the thought of
him with another woman made her ill…so she imagined it would do the same to him
to think of her with Michael, or anyone else.
“Are you in here?” Michael yelled from the front door.
“In the study.” She responded.
“You’re super early.” She said.
“Oh, so you want me to leave?” He teased.
“No!” She squealed.
Her arms wrapped around him, pulling him in tightly. She
let her tongue explore his neck, taking in the saltiness of his skin.
“You’re delicious.” She said.
Her eyes widened and her smile broke free from her face.
She was so happy to see him, but was devastated that it wouldn’t be long before
he left her for good.
“You’re a nut.” He said.
His laugh was so sweet and so teasing. He pulled her in
closer and nibbled on her ear.
“How much time do we have?” Lizzy asked.
“Exactly an hour.” He said.
Her arms reached around his neck and she let his strong hands
push her around him. He carried her to the long white sofa in the corner of the
room and gently placed her down.
His hands lifted the tank top away from her body, exposing
her full, hardened breasts. His mouth reached down, kissing one nipple, and then
the next. He smiled.
She let him pull her shorts off as she lifted her body
from the cushion. It always excited her to be undressed in front of him while
he was still fully dressed. It felt dirty, exciting, and sexy.
Her legs fell open, exposing the pink pussy that he had
become accustomed to. His mouth explored her inner thighs before plunging into
her folds and letting his tongue slide between them.
Lizzy rocked her hips against his face, letting the
friction push her clit into submission as it swelled and then throbbed.
Hair ran through her long fingers as she tugged at his
mane. He lifted to look at her with his beautiful dark eyes.
“I love you.” He whispered.
“I love you too.” Lizzy said.
He quickly loosened his jeans and slid them off his body.
His strong arms gripped Lizzy from the couch and lifted her around his waist.
She could feel his erection pushing against her thigh, and
then as he reached between her legs, she felt him guide it into her excited
pussy.
Kevin lifted her and then let her fall onto him, using her
own weight as a way to fuck her deeper than ever before. She let out moan after
moan as he continued his teasing. Her clit pushed against his belly, causing
her to fill with pleasure. As her orgasm released around his throbbing cock,
she felt his warm liquids unload into her.
He held her, kissing her softly, and slowly bouncing her
on his cock as it released its last little bit of cum into her.
Lizzy felt her ass press against the soft cushion on the
couch and then watched as Kevin reached for the tissue box to hand to her.
“Did you mean what you said?” She asked.
“That I love you?” He asked.
“Yes.” She said.
“I meant it.” He said.
His eyes were glued to hers and as she stared, she was
sure he didn’t blink once.
“Did you mean what you said?” He asked.
“I meant it.” She responded.
“So, what do we do?” He asked.
“I don’t know.” She said.
“Come to New York with me…” He said.
“I can’t do that. I can’t leave Michael and my marriage…”
She said.
“I know, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked you to do
that.” He said.
Lizzy was secretly excited that he had asked her. It meant
he really did love her and want her. But, she wasn’t ready to leave her
husband, she wasn’t sure if she would ever be ready. But, she did know she
wasn’t ready to lose Kevin.
Kevin dressed and then disappeared into the bathroom.
Lizzy dressed and went into the kitchen. She sat at the table, quickly joined
by Kevin.
“You have your whole life ahead of you.” She said.
“You’ll meet someone amazing, and you’ll get married, have
kids and have something I’ll always be jealous of.” She said.
“You have a family, a husband that loves you and a
beautiful child; you already have a life I’m jealous of.” He said.
“Are you serious about going?” She asked.
“I think it’s the best thing for everyone.” He said.
Lizzy couldn’t figure out how it was the best thing for
everyone. For Michael, sure, he didn’t have to risk losing his wife anymore,
not that he noticed anyway. For Kevin, sure, he could go meet the woman of his
dreams, whoever she is, but not her. She was going to be left alone in a
sexless marriage, stuck in this house forced to watch others start their lives
while hers faded away.
“So, the girlfriend from high school, was she the one?”
She asked.
“No, god no.” He said.
“Then who was.” She asked.
Kevin took a deep breath and smiled at Lizzy. His hands
reached across the table and gripped hers tightly. He squeezed. He seemed
nervous, and she was afraid of what he was about to tell her.
“You were, and always will be the one.” He said.
Heat surrounded her heart as it melted in her chest. Her
eyes welled up with tears, and she smiled softly at Kevin.
“You made me want more…” He said.
The front door opened and Kevin quickly pulled his hands
from hers. Timmy ran into the kitchen and jumped into his mother’s lap.
“Are you upset?” He asked.
Michael walked into the kitchen and leaned against the
counter. He smiled at Kevin and then focused on Lizzy.
Her eyes were puffy and red, but they were not watering
any longer.
“Allergies.” She said.
Michael seemed satisfied with her answer, and Timmy just
kept asking questions about what allergies were, and can you catch it.
Lizzy watched as Kevin followed Michael into his study.
She hoped it didn’t smell of sex as they entered.
When the door closed, her heart sank. She knew she was one
step closer to losing Kevin.
Lizzy let Timmy play outside while she sat on the front
porch. She imagined what life would be like with Kevin, and then quickly shook
the thoughts from her mind. Michael was her husband, and he was Timmy’s father.
She couldn’t just up and leave for New York, no matter how badly she wanted to.
If only he would stay she thought. That would give them
time to figure it all out, and maybe by then, she would know what she wanted.
His voice saying ‘I love you’ sounded over and over in her
head. It was the sweetest sound she had heard in a long time. She wasn’t sure she
could handle him leaving. But, what could she do to stop him?
Michael and Kevin walked out onto the porch. Michal sat in
the wooden rocking chair next to Lizzy and Kevin thanked him before ruffling
Timmy’s hair and smiling at Lizzy as he walked off.
“I really hope he stays.” Michael said.
“Did you ask him again?” She asked.
“I did everything but beg him to stay.” He said.
Lizzy smiled at her husband. Her clueless, sweet husband.
She could only hope that between his begging, and her love that he would make
the right choice.

Coffee brewed in the kitchen and the sunlight blasted
through the bedroom window. Lizzy woke up, rolled over and noticed Michael was
already out of bed. She could hear him and Timmy laughing in the kitchen as she
made her way down the hall.
She stood at the doorway, leaning on the wooden frame as
she watched Michael flip pancakes and Timmy giggle each time one flew into the
air.
“You’re in a good mood.” She said.
“Oh, good morning.” Michael responded.
Her arms extended around his waist and she pushed her
chest into his back. Her lips pressed against his neck and she nibbled on his
earlobe as he squirmed under her lips.
“Hey now!” He said playfully.
“You know my ears are sensitive.” He added.
Lizzy nuzzled her mouth back into his neck. She knew his
ears were sensitive, that’s why she went after them.
“Why are you in such a good mood?” She asked.
Her hands ruffled Timmy’s hair as he scoffed playfully at
her.
“Graduation’s next week.” He said.
Lizzy knew he considered his summers ‘Michael time’, where
he could work on his projects and spend more time in the lab. That is where he
excelled, and he believed through his stem cell research, he could change the
world.
The graduation announcement saddened Lizzy. She hated to
think about Kevin leaving for good. But, her husband was here, Timmy was here,
her life was here, and his, well, it was somewhere in New York with a high
school sweetheart that wasn’t the one.
“Are you getting excited about your research this summer?”
She asked.
“Oh yes, it’s going to be amazing, even without Kevin’s
help.” He said.
So that was it, Kevin wasn’t staying. She had hoped that
he would change his mind, but if he had, he hadn’t told Michael yet.
“Plus, I don’t have to go in until this afternoon.” He
said.
“Well, I’ll walk Timmy to school after breakfast so you
can relax.” She said.
Michael gripped her around the waist and pulled her in
close to him. She felt his whiskers tickle her neck as he tried to nuzzle in
towards her ear. She giggled, even though her ears weren’t nearly as sensitive
as his, she played along.
It was nice seeing him in such a good mood, and Timmy
seemed to be enjoying the benefits of his happiness.
A stack of pancakes were piled on his plate, way too many
for the small child to consume on his own.
“Are you going to eat all those?” Lizzy asked.
Timmy shoved his fork into the stack and pulled out a
large bite. He smiled wide, and then shoved the bite into his mouth.
Lizzy’s eyes widened as she watched her little man tear
into the pancakes, working his jaws in overtime to get them chewed up and
swallowed.
“Slow down, there’s no hurry.” She warned.
Michael laughed.
“This is going to be a great summer.” Michael said.
Lizzy smiled softly and let out a sigh. She couldn’t let
Michael see her disappointment.
A great summer to him meant he would spend countless hours
in the lab without any interruptions from students, or her.
“We better go.” Lizzy said.
Timmy wiped his mouth and took a large swig of his milk
before running off to his room.
Michael started cleaning up as Lizzy moved towards him.
She put her arms around him and tried one last time to nuzzle his ear.
He squirmed and turned to face her, pressing his lips
against hers. The kiss was passionate and forceful, leaving Lizzy feeling a
little faint in the knees.
“Mommy, I’m ready!” Timmy yelled.
She turned to see him standing in the doorway dressed in
blue jeans and a red and white striped t-shirt. He was growing up, and needing
her for less and less each day.
Her thoughts went to what she would do once Timmy didn’t
need her for even the smallest things each day, like cooking, walking him to
school or helping him fix his hair. With Michael gone so much, and so absorbed
in his work, even when he was home, it left little affection in her life.
“Let’s go.” Lizzy said.
“Maybe we can have some adult time when I get home…” Lizzy
whispered in Michael’s ear.
He smiled, but didn’t answer. It had been a while since
they had been intimate, and the way he looked at her, it was as if he didn’t
miss it at all.
Birds chirped in the trees, a slow breeze blew the green
leaves and students lined the sidewalks as they walked to their morning exams.
It was officially summer, and within a week, most of the
campus would be empty, leaving the small town that was normally busy, slow and
boring. The thought made Lizzy sigh.
“Are you ok mommy?” Timmy asked.
“I’m just excited it’s summer.” She said.
She forced a smile on her face and held her little boys
hand as they walked towards his school.
“Kevin!” He yelled.
She felt Timmy’s hand break away from hers and she watched
him run towards Kevin.
He always loved it when Kevin came over to tutor. He would
usually ask him a million questions, and Kevin was always patient, answering
them the best way he knew how. Nobody ever stopped by the house, so Timmy
started to see Kevin as a regular, and even he was going to miss him.
Kevin ruffled his hair and leaned down to give him a hug.
“Are you excited for summer too?” Timmy asked.
Kevin smiled. He looked over Timmy’s shoulder at Lizzy.
“It’s bittersweet.” He said.
“What’s bittersweet?” Timmy asked.
Kevin rolled his eyes and laughed.
“It’s complicated.” He said.
“What’s complicated?” Timmy asked.
“It would have been easier to have just said yes.” Lizzy
said.
“Yes, it means yes…I’m excited about summer.” Kevin said.
Timmy jumped up and down and reached towards Lizzy’s hand.
“Let’s go, I’m gonna be late.” Timmy said.
“Call me.” Kevin whispered.
Lizzy let Timmy pull her away from the man she had grown
to love. Her eyes lingered over her shoulder at him as he stood on the sidewalk
watching her walk away.
When she came out of the school from dropping Timmy off,
she hoped that he would be waiting for her outside, but he wasn’t.
Lizzy tried to push the thought of Kevin leaving out of
her mind. She knew she needed to work on getting what she needed from her
husband, and that was what she was going to do.
