CHAPTER 50
A few hours later, and only running on fumes, the chopper set down on a mainland airfield in Spain. A call was put out at once to rescue the captain and his crew on the freighter. That done, Lang, Charles, the prof, Wendy, and a couple of The Four boarded a commercial jet for London and then Prague.
Two of The Four, including the leader, stayed with the chopper to make sure it got all the repairs it needed, then they flew off to supervise the rescue operations on the freighter.
Arriving back in Prague, Lang breathed deeply of the air he had been missing so much. Two of The Four had missed the place, too, and they had smiles on their faces. For Charles, the prof, and Wendy, they had expressions of wonder as they drove through the city in a limo with Lang giving them a guided commentary of the extensive history of the area.
And when Lang took them to the castle that the Guild had, their mouths really dropped open.
Ben was there to greet them. “Hello! And welcome!” Ben Veers beamed, walking towards them to embrace those he knew and shake the hands of those who were new to him.
“It's so good to be back, I can't tell you!” Lang said.
“Very good to have you back! And to meet some of you for the first time that I've heard a lot about. We'll get acquainted over dinner in an hour, and then we'll get to work.” He nodded at Lang.
“Yes, sounds great,” Lang said.
“Mikal here will show you to your room,” Ben waved to a young man who was standing by. “I will join you at dinner. For now, please excuse me.” Ben went off to his office.
“This way, please,” Mikal took them to an elevator, and then got them settled into their rooms.
After dinner, and tales of their shipwreck and rescue, Lang walked the upper halls with Ben.
“The time is short, you know that,” Ben said.
“Yes, but things are well underway? Our delay has not been an issue, has it?”
“No, thankfully you transmitted the data in time. We've been producing the serum around the clock and are on schedule. But there are many aspects still to be put into place. Also, some intriguing developments have come to light; namely we have been successful with repairing DNA with thought alone!”
“You have? I knew you were testing it, but...
“Well, it's perfected, now. Our psychics have already been using the technique and are teaching it to others. With the serum and the electromagnetic healing methods, this psychic method should ensure our success. By far, the psychic method is the best, as it doesn't require anything but the person's own imagination to do it. So, you see, even if they manage to stop some of our other methods, they can't stop this one!” Ben smiled.
Lang touched him on the arm. “This is incredible news! Congratulations!”
“Congratulations to all of us. This was a true team effort.”
“Yes, but you were at the helm. You deserve a special thanks. And, a break when this is all over, don't you think?”
“Perhaps. Come in.” Ben led him into his office where they sat down on opposite sides of the desk.
“I've always liked the view from here,” Lang said, looking out the window at the sparkling city below.
“Yes, me as well. But, you know, I am not sure it's going to be possible to get a total DNA conversion.”
“Why not? From what you just said about the psychics...”
“I know, but there's more to it than that. I've been doing a lot of thinking on this subject, and I could be wrong, but...We live in a plane of duality, correct?”
“Yes, of course.”
“Well, then, in this place, can one side exist without the other?” Ben held his hands up, palms up, then brought them together.
“No.”
“What we are doing is correcting an out of balance situation, to be sure. But, can we totally eliminate that which we term as evil? I'm not so sure anymore. After all, if you know, as I do, that the Creator of everything is real, then that Creator made good and evil. And, those opposite poles were made to exist here simultaneously. Much as I'd like to eliminate evil from the world, maybe it's not our choice to make.”
“We didn't create this world, or the universe, no. We simply exist within it,” Lang agreed.
“Yes. I feel it's our mission to bring more light into the world and to bring back the balance. But to extinguish evil all together? That's not a question for us to solve, because we can't solve it. We can try and see what happens, but I suspect it will always be there to some degree, at least on this planet. Our duty is to keep it in check, so that is doesn't take over, I think.”
“I agree with you on that.” Lang looked out the window at the lovely sunset sky, with darkness waiting to fall.
The guests at the castle of the Guild in Prague got a good night's sleep, then it was back to work the next day. Ben Veers assembled Charles, the prof, Lang, and several others they didn't know in the biggest lab in the complex, deep below the Earth.
As they watched, one of the scientists started up a remote antenna array that began beaming out ELF waves with a healing code to repair any DNA it encountered. The Guild had several of these antenna arrays installed around the Earth on high mountain ranges, on the tops of skyscrapers, and also deep in the oceans.
As the extremely low frequency waves propagated around the Earth, life forms began to experience subtle changes in their DNA codes. They regained a vitality their kind had not had for millions of years, as their sleeping DNA sequences turned back on.
Some of the antennas would be discovered by the agents of the Dark One on Earth, the Guild knew. But many life forms would have been cured by that time, and besides, it was easy to install more antennas—they even had portable units.
But, the other phase to the cure was also released at the same time, a DNA serum. It was put into the air in the form of a fine, invisible mist released from the top of the Guild's castle, and also at many points around the Earth. This too would fix the intentionally damaged DNA of many life forms, awakening them to their full potential they had not lived for a long, long, time, since before the Dark One's servants came to Earth.
The last and perhaps most special form of the DNA repair came from groups of psychics around the planet, who put out intentional thoughts of healing the DNA of all life forms on Earth. The Guild had trained many psychics and stationed them around the world in various locations, some of them hidden underground and secure, some of them in high mountain retreats above the clouds. They came from all walks of life and all races.
Their training methods were released freely on the Internet and also put on leaflets, CDs, and thumb drives which were left in public squares and on public transit all over the planet.
The plans and instructions for the other healing methods were also released to the world: the serum and the ELF generators. Anyone with the means and the will could make such technologies in the fight to turn the balance back on Earth.
The balance would not happen overnight, but as more life forms on Earth were cured, the cure would spread to future generations. The enemies of this cure would be very active in stopping the curing methods, the Guild knew, and they appealed for help to the higher spiritual forces as they launched the cures into the world.
They prayed for the assistance of those they knew as the Watchers, who had come to Earth in the distant past and had been the first ones to try and help humanity.
And, they prayed to the Angels, to come to help humanity at this time of the great battle that had been foretold for ages.
CHAPTER 51
The prayers of the Guild were very strong, lifted into the ether by virtue of their generations of spiritual practices and adherence to the good side of life.
They were noticed.
So, too, were the stirrings on Earth noticed by those beings who watched over the precious planet. The Watchers saw that the damage the Dark One had done to the life forms on Earth so long ago was being reversed! And, it was being reversed by the very life forms the Dark One had suppressed!
This was the cause for much joy in the crystal halls of the Watchers. They had long hoped for humanity to find a way to help themselves, as the Watchers were reluctant to interfere any more than they had.
Some of their probes were near Earth and were sending back extraordinary data: the DNA damage was being healed. This was confirmed when the Watchers turned their attention from some of their other tasks back to Earth.
They had not been in close observation of Earth for a long time, as they knew the evil that had taken over there, and it was painful for them to witness it and not keep interfering; they kept themselves occupied with other tasks in the universe.
But when it came to their attention that their most beloved planet had started to fight back against the Dark One, the Watchers paid close attention. They again made the journey to Earth, to watch one of the greatest shows they had ever seen from orbit.
With their spiritual sight, they could witness how the DNA codes of many life forms on Earth were transforming before them. Waves of healing spread around the planet, and the forces of darkness were driven back. These forces of the Dark One didn't take it easily and fought back, causing the light to retreat here and there, but the light kept coming!
The Watchers moved around the Earth in their spiritual bodies of light, looking down on the world of matter as it went through its changes. They heard the prayers of the Guild, and of many other humans, who wanted help to turn their world around.
The Watchers were careful to only help again now, when there was a great mass of people asking for help, and when the alignments of the stars deemed it was the correct time—otherwise, the Watchers would not interfere.
Still, they kept their help limited to sending positive vibrations to the life forms of Earth and to the spirit of the planet itself, preferring to have a more subtle influence. In this way, they would not take away the will of the humans and other life forms that wanted to change and move out of the overly dark times they had been under. The Watchers did not wish to be saviours.
The Watchers could see the minions of the Dark One moving around the planet in a panic, trying to stop what had been put in motion and to push back their rule on Earth. But the time had come for the scales to be balanced on Earth, and whatever the servants of the Dark One did, it was futile. Their rule was over.
And, it was not only a physical change that the Watchers observed. This change was also in the souls of the creatures they watched, having cried out for centuries for the darkness to recede. And now it was, at least to where it should have been all along: balanced.
The legions of Golden Angels returned to circle the Earth next, above the Watchers. The Watchers paid them homage and blessed them, thankful that such a heavenly host was by their side to watch the beautiful events on Earth unfolding.
The Angels cast a magnificent light over the Watchers and said, “Thank you for your assistance to the Earth and all its creatures over your long watch, dear Watchers. Now, you see how the tide is turning. You were a part of this. Be proud. You have our thanks.”
With that, the Angels flew off into another part of the Creation, where there were still darker areas that needed their intense light. The Watchers stayed and observed for a time, as they had a special bond and duty to Earth.
They recalled in the early days what the life forms were like before the Dark One came there, and they hoped Earth could be that way again one day. But if not, this was, at least, a much better situation.
And, if the Dark One's minions stayed on Earth, but in a diminished role, the Watchers knew that was the will of the Creator and was necessary for the Creator's plan. Even the Watchers didn't know the total mind of the Creator, and if the Angels did they weren't telling.
CHAPTER 52
The Dark One watched these events from his shaded place in a desolate corner of the universe, far from Earth.
He was prevented from going near the Earth by the barrier still in place around the beautiful planet. He wished he could go down there and finish the job, but the shield put in place by the Angels was still strong and would not let him, despite all the attempts by his servants to break through it.
He focused his ill will towards his servants on Earth and bid them take control back. But he knew the way the battle was going, and he was terrified that there was a force to counter his rule on Earth, as he imagined himself the Supreme Creator, which he was not.
After railing after his servants, scolding them and threatening them with death if they failed him, he turned his attention away from Earth, where his reign was over. He looked towards newer, younger planets where he could spread his evil and try to gain another foothold first, before someone else did.
After a few years of being around the Earth and observing the balance restoring itself, which was only the blink of an eye to the Watchers, they departed once more for their home. They had many other tasks to attend to and other worlds to watch over as the worlds developed throughout the universe and the eternity of being. But they would continue to check in on Earth from time to time, and they still had some of their probe ships to always monitor what was going on there.
In the totality of the universe, the Creator felt the change happening on the Earth and in the Earth.
It was one of many magnificent changes going on in untold multiples of worlds in the Creation. Still, it was pleasing to the Creator and waves of joy emanated out from the Source to all reaches of the Creation.
The Angels felt this and paused in their work to raise trumpets of light and herald the good news.
The Watchers, too, felt the subtle pulsations of sublime bliss from the Creator reach them, and they did smile, in their way.
