DYING TO SURVIVE (Dark Erotica) (27 page)

Ryan nodded.

Slowly, Ami rose up from Ryan’s lap and slid over the console to the passenger seat. As soon as she sat down, she leaned over the console and wrapped her lips around Ryan’s cock, licking it clean of all of the juices from their haphazard parking lot sex.

“Okay, I cleaned up my mess, pull ‘em up,” Ami laughed as she pointed to Ryan’s shorts that rested mid-thigh.

As Ryan pulled up his shorts, Ami raised the strap of her purse over her shoulder and opened the door. As she stepped out into the parking lot, Ryan opened his door and hesitated before he got out of the Jeep.

“Same as last time?” Ryan asked.

“Yeah, I mean. Well, yeah,” Ami said as she stepped around the rear of the Jeep.

“I love you, baby,” Ryan smiled as he looked down and adjusted his shorts.

“I love
you
,” Ami said as she leaned toward Ryan and kissed him on the lips.

“To the depths of hell,” Ami whispered as she broke the kiss.

“To the depths of hell,” Ryan repeated.

“Well, here we go,” Ami breathed as she began to walk to the front door.

As they walked toward the front door, they held hands and smiled. As Ryan opened the door for Ami to enter, she quickly scanned the store for cameras, seeing none. She rolled her eyes and shook her head sharply as she stepped through the threshold of the door, signifying there were no visible cameras.

Once in the store, Ami followed Ryan toward the refrigerated beverage cooler. As he walked in front of the cooler and studied the reflection in the glass, Ami reached both hands into her purse and removed two guns. Ryan raised his index finger, indicating there was only one employee. As she handed Ryan one of the guns, she winked.

“To the depths of hell,” Ryan whispered.

Ami winked and turned to face the cash register. Hiding the pistol beside her leg, she stepped down the aisle, whistling as she walked.

“Alright you sad motherfucker. Today’s the day you hoped would never come. No sudden movements or it’s gonna get as messy as a shit sandwich,” Ami shouted as she leveled the pistol even with the face of the man on the other side of the counter.

“No troubles, please,” the man behind the register begged.

As Ami stood before the register, Ryan faced the front door, hiding safe behind the cover of the display of chips and crackers.

Fuck it, you’re going to die anyways
,” Ryan whispered as he watched Ami standing in front of the cashier.

“Clear,” Ryan screamed across the store, assuring Ami there were still no patrons approaching.

“Empty the register,
Mo
. Is that short for Mohammed?” Ami laughed as she looked at the man’s name tag.

As Ami held the pistol rock steady in front of the face of the man, he reached up toward the register. Standing with her legs spread shoulder width apart, Ami held the pistol at arm’s length as the man opened the register.

“All of it. Even what’s under the drawer and in the safe. Put it in a bag. I need this money for a new dress. This one’s covered in cum,” Ami chuckled.

The man’s hands full of bills, he reached under the register for a bag. As his hand came above the bottom of the counter, Ami caught a glimpse of something metallic and shiny. Immediately, and without thought, she pulled the trigger.

The explosion was deafening inside the small store.

The right side of the man’s head exploded, splattering the glass behind the register with brain matter and blood. As he fell backward, he dropped the shotgun on the floor beside where he had been standing.

“Still here,” Ami screamed.

“That’s my girl,” Ryan shouted as he walked toward the register.

“Son-of-a-bitch, what a fucking mess,” Ryan’s eyes widened as he saw the blood on the glass.

“Well, you should have seen the size of his head, it’s huge. Well, it
was
huge,” Ami said as she leaned over the counter and looked down at the now dead man’s half missing head.

“Grab a couple Red Bull’s and a sack of
Chicharones,
and I’ll get the money,” Ami said as she stepped up and onto the countertop.

Chee cha what’s
?” Ryan asked over his shoulder as he walked toward the beverage cooler.

“Chicharones,” Ami shouted as she hopped down off the counter into the puddle of blood.

“Awe fuck,” Ami screamed as she slipped in the blood.

Ami braced herself from completely falling by thrusting her hands in front of her, into the puddle of blood. Crouched on the floor in the puddle of blood, she attempted to pick up the money from the floor. As she did, her hair continuously fell into her eyes. Frustrated, she brushed her hair behind her ear with her hand.  Unbeknownst to her, her bloody hand slid along the side of her face, leaving a large bloody streak as she did.

“What happened?” Ryan shouted as he opened the cooler.

“Guts, I stepped in guts. No biggie,” Ami reassured Ryan as she picked up the remaining money.

“And they’re porkfat,” Ami peered over the counter and screamed toward Ryan smiling.

Standing at the cooler, Ryan turned to face Ami and made eye contact. As he stood with his hands full of Red Bull, he raised his eyebrows in wonder.

“Pigskins. Pork rinds. Whatever the fuck you wanna call ‘em. They’re low fat, low sodium, and high in protein,” Ami laughed as she picked up the money from the floor.

“That’s what I love about you, baby. You’re health conscious,” Ryan screamed across the store as he walked toward Ami.

“That and I’ll kill a motherfucker that gets in the way of my shopping habit,” Ami giggled.

“That too,” Ryan laughed.

“Headlights,” Ryan screamed as a car pulled into the parking lot.

“For fuck’s sake,” Ami screamed as she stepped over the counter, one hand full of bloody money, the other bloody hand holding her pistol.

She stood facing Ryan, her face, hands and arms covered in blood. Ryan shook his head as he glanced into the parking lot at the vehicle as it pulled up alongside the gas pumps. As the driver got out and began to attempt to pump fuel, Ryan turned to face Ami.

“You look like you…” Ryan paused and shook his head as he studied the amount of blood that covered Ami.

“Been to hell and back?” Ami asked.

“Precisely,” Ryan responded.

“Only for you, baby,” Ami smiled as she looked toward the gas pumps at the car.

The driver, frustrated because the now dead attendant had not set the pump to be operational, began to walk toward the store entrance. As he walked toward the entrance, he stared down at his feet, shaking his head in frustration.

“Looks like he’s coming in,” Ryan whispered.

Ami began to walk toward the door, her gun held steady at arm’s length. As she got within a few feet of the door, the approaching man looked up and noticed Ami, the gun, blood, and money. As he did, he turned and began to run toward the car.

“Grab my fucking pigskins,” Ami screamed over her shoulder.

Without hesitation, Ami opened the door, extended her arm, and took aim.

Run motherfucker
,” Ami whispered as she looked down the barrel of the pistol.

“Fuck it, you’re gonna die anyways,” and she pulled the trigger.
