Bill (repeating after the minister): "I, William, take you, Kathryn, to be my wife; I promise in the midst of our families and friends and in the presence of God to stand beside and love you always; in times of celebration and times of sadness; in times of pleasure and in times of pain; in times of sickness and times of health; I will be with you and love you as long as we both shall live."
Minister: "Kathryn, repeat after me:"
Kathy (repeating after the minister): "I, Kathryn, take you, William, to be my husband; I promise in the midst of our families and friends and in the presence of God to stand beside and love you always; in times of celebration and times of sadness; in times of pleasure and in times of pain; in times of sickness and times of health; I will be with you and love you as long as we both shall live."
Bill and Kathy honeymooned for two weeks in Florida and the Grand Cayman Islands and now, five years later, they live in Superior, Colorado, with their two beautiful little daughters, Megan Jean and Molly Anne.
"__________________, as you know, it is difficult for me to express my feelings in front of others, especially my very private feelings for you. But, here today as I stand in the presence of our family and friends, I want to publicly declare my love for you. And why do I love you so much? I love you because you are the finest person I have ever known; you are unselfish; loving; gentle; loyal; tender; trustworthy; sympathetic; and a joy to be with. Your laughter, your smile and your unfailing optimism buoy me, lift me and make me a

better person. How can I be so blessed as to be loved by you? What could I have ever done in my lifetime to deserve such a treasure? It is a great mystery. My heart overflows with my love for you and I give myself to you unreservedly today as your faithful husband / wife and I promise to treasure you always, just as I do at this moment."
"I want you for my husband / wife, to be melded into one as we share our lives together. I want to share my joys with you, and my sorrows, my hopes and my dreams. I promise to walk beside you, to support you, care for you, respect you and cherish you always. You will be first in my life, my most beloved possession. I promise to be faithful to you no matter what the circumstances of life may bring us. I am proud to become your husband / wife."
A Rose Ceremony
Groom (as he hands his bride a long-stemmed white rose): "___________________________, take this rose as a symbol of my love. It began as a tiny bud and blossomed, just as my love has grown and blossomed for you."
Bride (as she places the rose into a bud vase filled with water): "I take this rose, a symbol of your love, and I place it into water, a symbol of life. For, just as this rose cannot survive without water, I cannot survive without you."
