David let Jessica remove the wrapping, but he lifted the lid off the cardboard box, only to find a wood box. Lifting that out and placing it on the table, he quickly saw it had a hinged lid and small metal lock, which held a key in the keyhole.
Turning the key to release the lock, David opened the box to reveal its contents. One by one, he removed satin fur-lined wrist and ankle restraints and matching blindfold, tubes of ointment and bottles of scented massage oils, a silk rope with tassels, leather bondage bar and straps, flogger, and paddle. Lifting some additional paper, David found another flat box. He opened it and peered in, but didn’t show it to Jessica. He closed the box.
Tyson waited until all the graduates were finished looking at their rewards.
“Thank you, everyone, for participating in these classes. Dr. Sydney and I believe this was the finest group to graduate the program yet. We have high expectations for you all, and we have high hopes that you’ll take full advantage of your free six-month memberships to Club Manhattan. David and Jessica, as top performers of your class, you receive a free year at the Club.”
The students applauded and hugged one another. Tyson waited until everyone gave him their full attention once again.
“One last gift, from us to you, is the opportunity to stay here in the Dungeon for as long as you like today to play and celebrate. The room is closed to all others, so you will have all the stations for you to share only with your fellow graduates. Congratulations to all of you again, and I’m looking forward to many months and years of having you in our BDSM community.”
Breaking away from the formality of the occasion, the graduates gravitated to various areas of the room to celebrate. David took Jessica and their gift box to the furthest corner, where there were no toys, restraints, equipment or even seats, just a floor mat.
When they got there, he placed the box on the ground and turned to her. She immediately dropped to her knees before him, looking forward without making eye contact. David retrieved the one box from the gifts that he had not shown Jessica. He opened it now before her and showed her the contents.
Her eyes widened and a soft “Ohhh” escaped her lips.
“May I look at you, Master?” she asked.
“Please.”
With Jessica watching, David lifted the gold collar with diamonds insets from the box. He opened it and knelt opposite her.
“Will you accept this collar as a symbol of your servitude and devotion to me?”
“I do, Master.”
David placed the collar around her neck, snapping the catch into locked position.
“By placing the collar around your neck, I declare that you belong to me from this day forth. I will protect you and treat you with dignity at all times.”
He was silent and they looked into one another’s eyes.
“Jessica, give me your hands.”
She took her arms from behind her and placed her hands in his.
“I love you, Jessica.”
Her face lit up, and she showed him the beautiful smile that he adored.
“I love you, Master.”
He rose and pulled her up. “When you say that, you may call me David.”
“I love you, David.”
He took her hand and led her to the swing, lifting her up and securing her arms and legs in the holsters. David smiled.
“Happy Anniversary, my love. Let’s celebrate.”
