“He’s in your kingdom.” Rage flashed across Damnam’s face. “He must be dealt with.”

Rann nodded. “We’ll talk. Later.”

Damnam took Micael’s arm and steered him through the door.

“A word before you go?” Fergal followed them out.

Jewel finally turned to Rann. She’d been aware of him since she stepped through the door, and now that they were alone, she flew into his arms.

“You’ve decided?” His voice was rich with pleasure.

Jewel relaxed as though warmed by the heat of the tropical sun. “Yes.”

“You’ll come home?”

“You are my home.” She pulled his head down and kissed him.
