“I’m going to come,
Tolcan
. God, I’m going to come.”

He grunted as she clenched her
pussy around his erection. He slowed his thrusting, as if torturing her was his
ultimate goal. Placing his hands on her inner thighs, close to her ass, he
pushed her legs up and pressed them to her chest. Muscles that she didn’t even
know she had protested from the act, but it had him going even deeper inside of
her. Curling her nails into her palms until she felt pain spear up her arms,
Greta had never needed to come more than she did right now. Even after she had
already gotten off it felt like she hadn’t climaxed.

“No,”
Tolcan
ground out. “You’ll come when I say you can,
mate
.” He slammed his cock inside of her so hard she was pushed up
on the bed. Over and over he did this, hitting something deep inside so that it
felt like fireworks were going to go off in her at any moment.

And then he was bent over her,
running his elongated canines that only emerged when he was angry or aroused,
over her neck, down her collarbones, and stopped at her breasts. He bit at her
flesh, caused a cry of pleasure/pain to leave her, and then licked the hurt
away. He did this multiple times, and then dragged his tongue back up her
throat and licked at the brand he’d given her all those months ago. Greta
wanted to come, was almost there, but his languid thrusting had her on the
precipice of exploding once more.

Moving his teeth and tongue down,
he took root at the base of her throat, right where her shoulder and neck met,
and licked over and over again along the mark on her throat. And then he really
started fucking her. “Now, Greta, now you can come all over my cock.”

That was all it took for Greta to
get off. She arched her head back, closed her eyes, and let out the noise she’d
been holding inside. It didn’t matter that she was loud because
Tolcan
grunted out for more. He slammed into her and then
rotated his hips against her clit, and a plethora of sensations moved though
her.

Greta leaned forward for a kiss.
Tolcan
had the same thing in mind because he met her
halfway and captured her mouth with his. Their combined flavors mixed together
as they pressed their tongues against each other, and then
Tolcan
was thrusting into her three more times in quick, hard strokes. On the fourth
thrust he buried himself all the way inside of her. The fact she felt him swell
even further, felt the way his monstrously hard body shook atop hers, and heard
the deep rhythmic sound of pleasure he made, was almost enough to send Greta
into another orgasm.

Seconds later he started
breathing easier, and his body grew less taut above her. When his weight almost
became too much for her, he rolled off. He quickly untied her hands, and even
rubbed her wrists to get the blood flow to return. His hands moving across her
skin were gentle and soft, and all she could do was
stare
at him in wonder. After several seconds he leaned down and kissed her head, and
then climbed off the bed.

The bathroom in their home was
off to the side. A makeshift door created from the wood they’d gathered
outside, and the cloth they’d scavenged for, made up the privacy for their
bathroom. She didn’t care though, because this was a palace as far as she was
concerned. Greta stared at the ceiling, and the rock above her, manmade but
rough and rugged in appearance. She felt deliciously sore in all the right
places.

Closing her eyes and still trying
to catch her breath had Greta feeling like she was almost in a trance. She
didn’t even sense or hear
Tolcan
come back to her
until the pallet dipped beside her and he pulled her over toward the hardness
of his body. For several seconds they did nothing but lie there side-by-side,
their breathing eventually picking up a relaxed rhythm.

With the stillness and silence
surrounding them, a lot of things were passing through Greta’s mind. She tilted
her head back and looked up at him. It never went past her that this male was a
trained killer, a high-ranking Enforcer for her enemies—his enemies now,
too—and had probably taken more human lives than she cared to know. But in just
a short amount of time she’d given herself to him completely.

“Do you ever regret the things
you’ve done in life?”

He took her hand and placed it on
his chest. His heart beat a steady and powerful rhythm, but was much slower
than hers, or any human’s for that matter. Resting her head on his shoulder she
stared at the wall across from her.

“I do, to a point.”

She stared at him, this
conversation having her think about Jayce. Over the time that had passed since
they’d been in hiding and joined the resistance Jayce had been focused on
rescuing other humans, and recruiting rebel Rogues. Although there had been
affection, emotions he had for her that she hadn’t shared for him, it was like
something switched in him. He was so focused on the task at hand, on the work
they were dong to better things, that there wasn’t much time for them to just …
talk, not any time he cut out of his intense focus. She missed their time
together, missed him and the closeness they shared, but she was glad he’d found
something to be so passionate about. She was glad he found something that gave
him purpose, and made him happy. And she could tell working with the resistance
made him happy. She just hoped he found someone like she’d found
Tolcan
.

“If I hadn’t been where I was
when I was I wouldn’t have found you.”

“And you wouldn’t have taken me
or my family either.”

He soothed his finger over her
cheek. “Yes, and for that I’m sorry, but we’ll get them back. I swear we will.
We just need time, strategy, and be able to think clearly when planning.” He
continued to smooth his finger over her cheek. “There
are
always things people regret doing in their lives. But for me, I’ve learned from
my mistakes, realized what my people are and what they’re doing to the humans,
and what to change that.” He cupped her cheek now. “I want to have a world
where I can have you as my own without anyone interfering.”

“That may never happen,
Tolcan
.”

“I know, but I’ll always try,
Greta. I’ll never stop until
it’s
okay for us, and
safe for you.”

“Do you think we’ll ever be able
to save the rest of my people, to overthrow the Royals that are keeping humans
enslaved?” She already knew the answer, deep down, with her soul.

“I think together, and with the
help of your species and mine, we can make a difference. We might not be able
to stop them in our lifetime, but we’ll make sure, we’ll make them realize we
aren’t stopping, and won’t go away.” He stared deep into her eyes. “You make me
want to be the good guy, Greta.”

“You are the good guy,” she said
softly.

He leaned down and kissed her on
the forehead. “I’ll protect you, watch over you, and make sure this world
starts to be better for you, for
everyone
.”

And that’s what they were
fighting for now, and she knew they always would. This war wasn’t over, far
from it, but she would stand beside the Rogues and humans that wanted a better
life, a different life.
