Deirdre watched as her son-in-law carried her daughter off for a bath and some food. Mr. Norman came up to her and offered her his arm. “Lady Deirdre, if you would come with me, I have prepared lunch for two on the terrace.”

Deirdre grinned. “Sounds delightful, Norman.”
